    Worms 2 received a big hype. And it is great fun for some hours. But it becomes repetitive pretty fast. Local multiplayer rules nevertheless. Overall rating: 6.1.

    First Worms game which show the right direction of the series. All later published game i.e. Worms Armagedon or World Party are only reboot and kinda upgrade of this great production. Definitley worth to play it and feel 'those' times :P

    I played countless hours with the first game and the second one exceeded it from every aspect.
    It has better sounds, graphics, more weapons, better AI, better map editor, more options.

    When I think about the Worms franchise, I can not think anything else but the first 2 games.
    For me, the coming sequels don't mean anything, just money makers.
    So, if you want to discover this game, try the first one (I still love that title too, unbelievable cute still today!) then play this and have fun.

    The game itself is a platform-like strategy game. The map can be zoomed, there can be 4 teams on a map with 4 players. Obviously the last team standing win.
    You can use an extremely good variety of "weapons", like real guns, or baseball bat or just 'prod' (it means you simply push a worm from a cliff to the water causing instant "death".
    You can play aggressively or you can use defending tactics, like digging holes to escape or just defend a character. Or placing girders on the map to cover your team members from incoming fire, or placing girders to enclose enemy units. Very clever, incredibly funny and sophisticated game, even though the ultimate goal is to get rid of all enemies. I purposely wrote "get rid", because it is possible to defend all game long until the opponents kill each other then, when the time limit is done (yeah, there is time limit), the water level starts to increase by ever round, so if you were clever and placed your team member(s) high enough, it is practically possible to win without a single shot. Thumbs up to the developers!

    The fully destructible environment also gives a depth to the strategy as you can never full cover yourself from anyone.    … Expand

    My first Worms game. It laid foundation for great Worms Armaggedon & World Party so it deserves a 9!

    Worms 2 is just a sympathetic war party game. Local multiplayer is just a wonderful turn-based strategy battle and improved my childhood extremely. The gameplay is highly addictive, the style is hilarious and the humour just iconic. Superb game!

    Sin desbloqueables, con una pesima interfaz y una cantidad de glitches brutal. Es una version pobre de Worms Armageddon. No lo recomiendo.
