    У меня был отзыв до этого на 3 балла, меняю на 1. Новые патчи - костыли старых систем. Торгаст, который изначально казался чем-то крутым оказался тупо скучен.. и не нужен! Вы реально можете его игнорировать. Локации унылости, только бастион и арденвельд вносят хоть какое-то разнообразие.     Play WoW since 2005. Worst Addon. You clearly see Activision in it. No Love. Covenants are a Battle Pass. Story is lame. Design is extremely boring, after beautiful Suramar, Boralus or WoTLK its a shame. Main City Flyronforge looks like a classic beta placeholder. New Evil Skinhd Zovaal has nothing on him. There a massive logical errors. When all Souls of the universe come to this lands, why look all like blue humans and why we only met souls from azeroth? Activision wants maximum effort with minimal investment. I think soon subscription is optional, and the itemshop evolves. Bobby wants his bonus. RIP Blizzard, best Studio of my Childhood. This Addon sucks more than any addon in the MMORPG Genre. Lame. -5/10. BFA, WoD, Cata had their flaws, but this one here is a mess. Things you can do:
    a) go to mordor.....i mean thorgast and farm souls. Thats it. Designs borrowed from peter jackson, castlevania and From software.

    Almost the same game BFA that was. Minor updates, a lot of grind activities and boring plot.
    The plot of the game suffers greatly and the developers of the scriptwriters seem to have completely run out of adequate ideas. At the moment, the game is becoming more and more dead and more and more fixated on the player's character as the one and only hero.

    The worst expansion ever! :( - The “””””story””””””” writing is BIG **** Retcon and destroy the lore. - Gamplay just meh.
    - Covenant system is **** - PvP full unbalanced.
    - The whole after-life is uninteresting and boring

    Please remove Christie Golden and his team.

    I would say tied for Battle for Azeroth as worst expansion of the franchise.

    * Ridiculous amounts of chores to do before you are "allowed" to perform in endgame content. * Horrible gearing systems (especially for PvP). * The far too common borrowed power nonsense. * Painfully bad writing. * High quality art assets for armor and mounts reserved for Blizzard Store purchases while    I would say tied for Battle for Azeroth as worst expansion of the franchise.

    * The worst pace for content updates so far in the series. Unforgivable for a pay-to-play title.

    Just terrible. It could be just good except lore, but there are a lot of artificially stretched, time draining activities that directly affect on your character's stats and impact. What if I dont want WoW to be my second work, Blizzard? Why that is so hard to understand?

I decided to try out WoW properly with this expansion because a few friends played and honestly speaking I'm quite disappointed, I haven't been here for it's prime but I don't understand how anyone could claim that this is still the best MMO out there. The movement feels atrocious to me and the fact that my character is to stupid to turn around and execute an action if I don't move my camera around is just dumb and artificial difficulty. Artificial difficulty that has plagued me throughout my entire leveling experience, everything I have had some sort of difficulty, which, to be fair, wasn't too often, it was because I was fighting the game and its controls and not because something challenging was thrown at me. The only good moments have been with my friends, because of my friend, the game did nothing to make it good, except maybe having animations so terrible, that it prompted us to laugh at them. The only moment in the game where I was positively surprised so far was when I joined Arenwalde, seeing this magical forest made so beautifully was really nice, however the storytelling in that was even more atrocious than the rest and it was just what I expected from an expansion coming out in 2020, the fact that the other zones (especially maldraxxus) can't even remotely keep up is just kind of sad, and disappointing. I can't recommend buying this game to anyone, I spent 60$ and it already feels like it's too much for them, where is the money they are getting from their players going? It doesn't look like it's going back into the game to me, to be honest, and after recent event I can only discourage giving Blizzard any money to begin with (though it is your decision if you want to play their products or not, this is just my opinion) so there's really no saving grace.… Expand

    I totally understand why causal players are leaving, stuff to do in shadowland is plenty but also pointless, your character progression is so limited, that you feel like you're is just have another part time job to waste your time.

Расы не добавили, классов тоже (их даже не расшарили, кроме дк, ой извините, вы должны были для этого купить предзаказ), в торгасте наград нет, в ковенантах одни ограничения (баснословные суммы для открытия "плюшек ковена", купить ничего нельзя просто так), свисток отняли, локалки уг сделали, баланса нет вообще. И что за все это еще и плату подняли на 100р. Серьезно? ЗА ЧТО?    … Expand

Leveling is fun, but once you reach endgame the frustration begins, when you have to face other players in order to progress, who can kill you in a single blow while you need like 20 sek to kill them even when they go afk.

    At face value on the surface Shadowlands appears to look amazing -- great cutscenes in the beginning and as always the music is outstanding as are the artwork. However, once engaged I found most gameplay to be boring and a tedious chore. The most fun I continue to have in Warcraft comes from doing legacy content. The story itself seems laughingly unbelievable and character decisions leftAt face value on the surface Shadowlands appears to look amazing -- great cutscenes in the beginning and as always the music is outstanding as are the artwork.     If you want a game that only wastes your time, it's pay to win, it is not balanced (6 months for a patch in a mmorpg, oof). There are many, many more things that I could go over, but simply put, it's not worth my time.

    On the other hand, if you want a game that does EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING right, check FINAL FANTASY XIV Online.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Shadowlands starts out in a similar format just like Legion & Battle for Azeroth in terms of story and questing. Parts of the story have become quite lackluster or very easily guessed on where it will go next.

    The questing in each of the main four zones, now in a linear format unlike the last 2 expansions, does do a better job of telling a overall larger arch storyline as well as connecting the zones together. You level in zones Bastion, Maldraxxus, Ardenweald, and ending with Revendreth. Each zone has its own unique feel, races/NPCs and color palate: Bastion with sky/light blue, Maldraxxus with green, Ardenweald with dark/navy blue and Revendreth with red. Each zone has its own story arch as well as connecting to the main story arc of the expansion. You also find some names and faces from years past: Uther in Bastion, Draga in Maldraxxus and Ysera in Ardenweald; to name a few. In addition, you are able to test out each Covenant's abilities while leveling in that zone to better make your choice when you hit max level.

    The level cap for this expansion is 60. Resetting it from the level 120 it was in Battle for Azeroth. You do average about 2-3 levels per zone. Blizzard has set a soft requirement on what level you must be before going on to the next zone, so no more just dungeon running to level X then moving on. You are required to complete parts of each zone's story quests before you can move on to the next. It does basically force players to play through the story at least once.

    After hitting max level, you can now move on to the endgame systems.

    First, is the usual Normal and Heroic Dungeons you can queue for. You can also run Mythic difficulty Dungeons in a premade group.

    For PVP, you can still run Arenas and Battlegrounds. No real changes on those systems compared to Battle for Azeroth except that the gear was much better than gear you would get through PVE for the first few months of the expansion. I personally am not a big PVP person so I can not say overall if its better or worse compared to previous expansions.

    Third, is the endgame zone of the Maw. This is a zone that just feels incomplete in ways. It also did not help that it did not get most of the content it launched with until the last several weeks of the beta. The Maw does have its own questline, gated by a reputation you grind via a couple of daily quests. Overall though, the Maw is still disappointing when compared to more superior zones like the Timeless Isle from Mists of Pandaria.

    With this expansion, a few new systems and features were introduced.

    Torghast, content that is comparable to the Greater Rifts from Diablo 3. It can be quite fun when you are just running them but tying it to legendary crafting made it seem like a chore for most players.

    The Covenants, one of which you swear yourself to when you reach level 60, seem to be counter to the story. You pledge yourself to a covenant to get Renown which unlocks transmog, mounts, titles, etc. If you ever wanted to change covenants, there was a heavy restriction at launch where it took you two weeks of doing quests before you could even start working on your new covenant. This seemed counterproductive to the lore where they were coming together to face the threat of the Jailer.

    Now with Patch 9.1.5, released on November 2, 2021 (North America), several long requested changes were implemented. These changes included:
    - Freely swap Covenants
    - Removal of Conduit Energy (Conduits is a whole other bag that I am not touching, was just **** at launch in terms of swapping. Similar to the Essences from BFA)
    - Removal of AoE cap (Was implemented during BFA. Basically limited how many mobs you could damage with AoE abilities)
    - Alts: Instant Renown Catch-up, Level via Torghast, Soulbind skip, Anima transfer, Improvements all around to leveling & renown.
    - Ability to skip the Maw intro questline
    - Legion Timewalking (Mythic+ and Mage Tower returning from Legion)
    A lot of these changes were a long time coming. However, many players felt that this should of been done at the start NOT nearly a year into the expansion.

    In conclusion, Shadowlands is a step above BFA yet a step back from Legion. Blizzard ignored player feedback from the beta and after launch on several systems even rebuffing back on some topics. They repeated the same mistakes from BFA in regards to the Azerite Armor and Heart of Azeroth system. Only time will tell if Blizzard will actually learn from their mistakes. Patch 9.1.5 shows a step in a positive direction but I am doubtful if they will continue this path. The final content patch and next expansion look to be a make it or break it moment for World of Warcraft.    … Expand

Not worth it at all, for a 40 dollar expansion and you get this bad, boring and stupid lore, is not very far from a SCAM. just don't buy it, but if you are really curious just go and watch the lore on youtube for free, and done, you've finished Shadowlands, nothing more.    … Expand

    Felt rushed and hounded to go through zones unlike classic. Talked to very few people its very shallow and very few interactions with players. They used up good lore too the afterlife is totally forgettsble you meet like 5 wow heroes from ALL that lore? Lets be honest i spent more time rejected in qyeyes for rated bg than playing the actual battlegrounsa

    The new worst expansion ever! Level squish from 120 to 60 and we get crapload of rubbish. Everything now is longer or harder. You lose bonus roll and flightmaster whistle. Game drops less loot. Crafting is longer. World Quests is mostly longer, "Mage Tower" Torghast spam is required for legendary. This xpac is definitely the worst.

Torghast is just crazy, no one likes it. Of the latest addons, only Legion is made at a decent level. This addon has not yet released any new content, it's just a mockery.     With all this social replacements in Blizzard Hazzikostas should be fired for raping WoW. This game do not develop still Legion, we playing same dungeons, same classes, same **** story about CHAMPION OF AZEROTH LETS WATCH IN-GAME MOVIES ABOUT JAINA AND THRALL SAVING US ALL (on a note - BfA 4 war quest line was good), same ignore to our wishes from developers.

    I played WoW since WotLK and for a years have my subscription ON even if I not played in current moment, but now my loyalty is over.
    WoW right now is grindy, non-social and old-boring game which makes by people in isolation from the desires of the gamers who play it    … Expand

    Blizzard finally comes with an alt-friendly expansion that brings back the best features of the previous ones. The patch that WoW desperately needed. [Issue#309]

    World of Warcraft: Shadowlands certainly manages to capture the same feelings we’ve had since first started playing the game. The leveling experience overhaul, constant sense of progress with rewards, and new campaign stories make Shadowlands a must-have for any avid player.

    World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is a return to greatness for the franchise. The content is both accessible and fun for all types of players, and the story actually makes you feel like everything you’re doing is helping to save the Shadowlands. Torghast is one of the best features ever added and makes each experience unique and fun. While there are some issues which can slow down the time it takes to get everything you want, the journey there is still enjoyable.
