Fantastic game! As a newbie it really helped a lot of my game. I think this simulation is real enough to teaches you the basics of Poker: principles and disapline. The moment that I won the tournament in game is one of the most exciting moment of my life, and I have done a lot.

Good AI and a nice assortment of games. TJ's tips can turn a novice into a pretty good player. The interface is also very easy and you have the ability to save tournaments and return to them later. The AI is pretty good, although sometimes they will be too predictable (i.e. that loose players are easily identifable). The only thing I question is the replayability; I don't think Good AI and a nice assortment of games. TJ's tips can turn a novice into a pretty good player. Never, never has a game been so in favor of the computer. I rarely (1:200 Hands) better than a 2 & 3, while the computer gets full houses, 4 high of a kind, and so many royal flushes it is unbieleveable. I have delt manually over 300 hands (with 6 players and the flops) and the most that I ever got was a pair.. It's about time that Texax Hold "em for the computer gets real.

  1. The A.I. is better than average and will get tougher when you start getting to some of the hot games. A good selection of menus and helpful suggestions. The game teaches you as much as you are willing to learn.
  2. Fiendishly addictive to newcomers and realistic enough for advanced players, World Class Poker with T.J Cloutier is an essential purchase for anyone wanting to take their game further.
  3. Not only does it help train you to play like a pro, but it offers enough features to make it a worthwhile investment for the serious poker player.
