You can cut wood in this semi-realistic game.
You see the game on steam and you just know that you want this game so much because it is your life long dream to be a woodcutter expert.

From the minute I saw this game I knew it was going to be amazing. All sim games are beautifully made and not half arsed or boring at all. The log cutting feature is dynamic and a game mechanic that brings a new, wonderful experience to every moment you chop down a tree. Your character gets to ride around on a speedy hoverboard that will get you to your destination lickety split. Wow, whatFrom the minute I saw this game I knew it was going to be amazing. The environments are also stunning! Remember that one with the trees? I sure do!

Ten out of ten. Eleven out of ten. Ten tens of tens are tens.

Graphics are decent on ultra high. Sound is amazing. Story has some flaw but it keeps you interested while urging the player to ask serious questions about the logging industry's impact on the environment. I would like to see some future DLC where the tables are turned and you must play as the forest and send squirrels/deers/wolves to fight the lumberjacks and sh*t that would be sweet.Graphics are decent on ultra high. If you can pick this game up for cheap it is worth your time p.s. If you happen to be at a flea market in the Philippines you can trade about a half pound of scrap metal for it.

I really enjoy most simulators, as ridiculous sounding as they may be. Naturally I thought that taking a chainsaw and ripping down a forest could be fun and maybe therapeutic too.

That's where I was horribly mistaken they've taken all of the fun out of the game. First, you can't even START your chainsaw unless you're around a tagged tree. I'm okay with that in real life you can't just

That's where I was horribly mistaken they've taken all of the fun out of the game. First, you can't even START your chainsaw unless you're around a tagged tree. I'm okay with that in real life you can't just randomly start cutting trees down, I'm sure that's illegal. But not all is lost, I can still make some gnarly cuts and fell trees... Nope, when you start the chainsaw up the game makes all the cuts for you. I don't even get to make my own notch cuts?

In all honesty that's as far as I got, the computer made 4 cuts and the tree hit the ground, exploding into branches. But not before I discovered you can ramp off stacks of logs to get some wicked air. And, almost as an homage to Quake, you can strafe run to get places faster than a car could take you (likely because when you start the car the game would drive there for you).

I commend that instead of making the same crap over and over again the company is trying new ideas but execution is not their strong suit. Highly passable, even for some quick laughs.

I really like the 9/10 and 10/10 reviews. A lot of sarcasm there. Sadly the game is ultra boring. Mega ultra boring. You run around the map with a chainsaw and cut trees which is just an animation. You go to a tree, press space, torture yourself watching 15 second animation, repeat 6 times and mission complete. Later you can buy machinery but I didn't get to that point. I give 2/10 onlyI really like the 9/10 and 10/10 reviews. A lot of sarcasm there. Sadly the game is ultra boring. Mega ultra boring. I won't even go into details like graphics, sound, controls, movement, etc. Not worth my time. Expand

By far the most impressive simulator game I have ever put my hands on. From the word go the action is on! Mission after mission of cutting those trees never gets dull. Racking up close to 200 hours on this game and I can't say that it will end soon!
Multiplayer, what is their to say about that? Well you know that game Call Of Duty that you have laying around the house? Well through that out! All you need is Woodcutter Simulator! Buy it for your friends and watch the all nighter LAN party turn into the greatest night of your lives! You will never look back.

TLDR One of the Greatest games ever made! A must buy for all of you who have a high disposable income and have no standards in games.

Woodcutter Simulator 2013 - The word that describes Woodcutter Simulator is UNFINISHED.
This game is badly graphically optimized, there are many bugs and the controls are bad. Not even talking about the main point of the game - cutting wood.
OK, you can cut wood but it's very far to realism.

2/10 Woodcutting lovers may like it.
