    Everything OK, but the story was kinda meh ... Grace is fokin annoying character... just totally ruined enjoyment of the game for me.

    Good game, follows on from the two earlier titles. Character and story is spot on, until Grace a really annoying character. She is also introduced oddly... with the rest of it done so well its a shame.

    I can't believe they made Blazkowicz a Jew. I had no problems playing this character when he was still Polish, but this is absurd. And everywhere this annoying leftism. The plot is a drama, low fps on a good setup. I turned off after 30 minutes and returned that ****

    Favorite Thing: I really enjoyed the gameplay but more than that I loved the story. It was perfectly crazy.

    I picked it up for £25 with the season pass yesterday and finished it the same day as it was only 7 hours long which surprised me. I still have the side missions and DLC to do but the campaign is done. I really enjoyed the first 2-3 hours, it started very strong but definitely got weaker and weaker as it went on, and frankly just bizarre. The characters definitely carried if for me, I loved them all and they're were voiced really well, there was also a great mix of sadness and genuinely funny moments. The gameplay was fun but nothing special, I felt there was a lack of weapons and I didn't get anywhere near enough upgrade kits to modify even half of my weapons and I never felt particularly strong? Especially when getting instakilled by a headshot on normal difficulty, I just never felt like a Nazi slaying badass. I did like the inclusion of melee kills but in general the gameplay felt like Doom 2016 just not quite as good, and that feeling also extended to performance, while Wolfenstein 2 ran perfectly fine for the most part there were multiple areas that ran terribly for no notable reason (going from an average of 100fps to 30-40fps). One of the cooler set pieces was also ruined by performance problems due to the game having issues with fire apparently. The game also crashed every time I tried to alt+tab out. I was expecting much better on this front considering Doom 2016 ran maxed out at 100 - 144fps and felt so crisp throughout.

    Overall I was a little disappointed, especially as it started so well, it's not a bad game by any means, but I expected more, and I definitely expected it to run better than it did. I do wish I had waited for a deeper sale now, £25 for 7 hours (maybe another hour from the side missions) just isn't worth it to me, and we all know it'll hit £15 at some point, and at that price point it would be good value.    … Expand

    Fast-paced and shooter with an interesting story. A ton to collect and upgrade. The only thing that really bugs me, is the platinum trophy, which is simply impossible. Why? You have to finish the game in one attempt on (8-12 hours) "Mein Leben", which means the difficulty is extremely hard, no checkpoints, savepoints but permadeath. A bit exaggerated and a turn-off for trophy hunters.

    Considero esta entrega superior al The Order a mi gusto.

    WF2 is a good follow up to the previous game. The fighting is more fun, but maybe too bloody (no option to tone it down). But what I love even more was the more personal story and great description of the Nazi future world in general. I didn't care that it wasn't a realistic story (there are scifi elements in it) because the rest of the world is fun to discover. I wish the cards would have enlighten all the collectibles into a level instead. Performance wise, I have a 1060 Nvidia card with 10GB pf memory. The game has setup to medium graphics, but I am able to play at high easily. I noticed very few slow down to date. I give it a 80%. The lore is amazing and...you have to kill Nazis.… Expand

    More of the usual hordes of enemies against a single player instead of less in numbers and more in intelligent plans of attack. Enemies spawning behind the player in impossible areas is just lazy programming to creat a false difficulty rating. The lack of a chapter replay feature, present in all other Wolfenstein games, is a big loss.

    It's close to being a great game, but the main complaint I have is length. You can finish the game in 10 or so hours (with 100% collection of all side quests with mechanical benefits). So, its fun, but not enough "bang for the buck" so to speak.

    Graphics 7/10: but not the best for 2017 came out Game. Sound 10/10: No Soundsbug, all sounds good, nothing to complain about. Gameplay 6/10: Not many Guns, enemies are very strong (you can die really fast), too many ways so you feel like you are in a maze. Story 6/10 short: only mainstory with some optional quests its very very short, i needed about 10h for the    WITHOUT EPISODES

    Graphics 7/10: but not the best for 2017 came out Game.
    Sound 10/10: No Soundsbug, all sounds good, nothing to complain about.

    Story 6/10 short: only mainstory with some optional quests its very very short, i needed about 10h for the Game, Cutscenes are too long and levels too short when you think about the cutscenes. As german you are f**ked, instead of Hakenkreuz you got "Y", Hitlers has no beard and you dont have quotes like Sieg Heil. For 50€ not worth it - wait for a sale!

    Great Experience. Love killing Nazis! I don't get why there are so many reviews complaining about bugs and performance issues. I'm running this game on ultra settings at 1080p and I'm getting constant 144 fps+ with no frame drops with an i5-4690K and GTX 1080.

    Shooting is super tight and feels great, a little slow paced but very satisfying. Gorgeous, great story, lots of dead nazis and salty incels. If you liked Doom or the Wolfenstein reboot you'll like this

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I bought my copy of The New Colossus day before its release for a good price. I had very little info about the sequel to 2014 reboot of Wolfenstein franchise. I played the original and enjoyed it for what it was, a single-player story driven FPS, but it did not leave any lasting impressions.
    The New Colossus did not start well, error message right at the start left me with no choice other than to search internet for solution--and I was found relatively quickly, I had to instal latest Nvidia drivers.

    Once I installed latest drivers from Nvidia, the game started and played flawlessly on high settings in 1080p on my i7-4790k with GTX1070--rock solid 60fps, no noticeable slowdowns, no broken geometry or texture popping. Only other problem I have encountered from start to finish of the game were 2 game freezes during loading. I have not fiddled with video settings at all, the game run smoothly and looked amazing at default high settings.

    The game offers continuation of alternative history of WW2. The story was decent with several great characters that were flashed out as much as possible in a FPS game. The story absolutely parodies current political situation and does not shy away from controversial topics such as racism, sexism and spreading of neo-nazi propaganda. It is all in good fun and cartooney approach but there are some graphical moments not for feint of heart.

    I liked the gameplay because it is simplistic in its focus--provide well crafted experience focused on killing enemies, pure and unadulterated mayhem, with optional stealth that worked good enough. Weapon selection is limited to standard set of armaments including pistol, sub-machine gun, assault rifle, electricity-based gun and grenade/rocket launcher. There is also few heavy weapons that can be picked up from static gun posts or from fallen enemies. They have limited ammunition and must be carried in both hands slowing you down and forcing you to drop them on the ground if you want to use some of your standard guns. Gunplay is fine, each weapon feels differently.

    Length of the game is decent, I have finished the story at around 25 hours on Do or Die difficulty setting. Some parts of the game were rather difficult but nothing impossible. Enemy AI is very mobile and once alerted to your presence they can often surprise you by flanking you or coming from behind you. I always found it better to soften enemy forces by applying stealth early in the game levels--this is certainly recommended approach on higher difficulty settings when captains are present on the battlefield.
    I still have several ubercommanders to kill via helm navigation map, which is some kind of meta game on top of story missions. These kill missions are happening in locales you visit during story missions with slight modifications to what enemies are present, their placement and new collectibles.

    Character perk and weapon upgrade systems are good and fit the tune of the game. Character perks are gained naturally by performing specific actions, e.g. killing enemies while dual-wielding or performing stealth takedowns. These perks improve certain aspects of your character--mostly quality of life improvements but some of these perks are very powerful.
    Weapon upgrade system is simple enough but efficient. Upgrades provide improvements to a gun or even add new functionality to it. Upgrades can be toggled on and off so you do not have to worry whether you will like it or not. Weapon upgrade kits are relatively rare but you get enough of them to upgrade your favourite weapon or two. Side mission provide access to additional weapon upgrade kits.

    All in all, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus was very positive surprise for me. High quality production value with slightly funky story that does not take itself too seriously. Once I overcome initial problem with incompatible GPU drivers, the game run smoothly without any major issues. Visuals and sound are great, music fits the theme and some tunes were outstanding. Gameplay is fast-pace with clear focus on combat with light elements of stealth that never felt cumbersome. Enemy AI is serviceable but it will not amaze you.    … Expand

    Killing Nazis is even more fun when the story provides context through character growth, conflict and excellent voice acting. There are some corny bits and the story does go in some controversial directions just by virtue of it's subject matter combined with the current social/political atmosphere. Which is an alarming situation that has nothing to do with this game but a sad    Wow!

    The graphics don't seem to match the toll they take on performance but I really dig the style which serves the setting very well and creates a nearly perfect realization of location, tone and feel. Nothing feels out of place except the resistance, Perfect!

    It took about 20 minutes to disable the Vulcan bits that don't jive well on NVIDIA cards. Finding the fix was only one search and 2 clicks away.

    Much like Doom and The New Order, the devs don't overthink the gameplay. Kill bad guys, move the story, rinse repeat. While every other AAA game today lives or dies by it's open world combined with coop MP and pointless loot boxes containing fashionable armor designed to shoehorn an RPG in to pad gameplay, Wolfenstein 2 keeps it simple while achieving mechanical mediocrity on a grand scale and I love it!

    I give it a solid 8:
    + Gameplay is exciting
    + The setting is perfectly realized and eerily topical (weird times we live in, not games fault)
    + The story keeps the action honest throughout. The stakes always feel high.
    - Performance. There are easy fixes for NVIDIA users. I hate to subtract for this. PC gaming can be complicated but great power requires great responsibility, which equals amazing results. But I wish it had an NVIDIA button that disables the Vulcan bits that don't jive well on Maxwell/Pascal. I'm sure this will be patched but this is the current state.

    Final score goes to 10 for offending snowflakes. Where were all these people when Mafia 3 came out?    … Expand

    I really dont get the hate here at all. The game is just awesome. Right amount of weapons and gameplay that gives a rush of adrenaline and a sense of acheivement. Story is very good, i seldom play fps for story but this game made me really care and some moments really kept me on my toes. I love this game and whole heartedly recommend it.

    Everyone should learn how to correctly install a videocard driver before downvoting this game.
    I must have a magic PC, because running the latest nvidia drivers, the game runs silky smooth without bugs and glitches 150+ fps on max settings everywhere.
    The game itself is fun, definitely better for me than new order. I recommend it. Edit: the endig was a little bit meh

    I haven't had any crashing, however I have had a lot of artifact issues and just general graphics hooey. Windowed mode has **** for resolution choices and editing the config file for a custom one screws up the text. Just play in Fullscreen and that's mostly fixed for me.

    Other people are having more serious issues and I cannot blame someone for rating the game low if they can't play it.    … Expand

    After the first update the game works now smoothly have not had a problem yet with R9 290 at 1080p Ultra settings. Some of you may still have problem but I am speaking for me and my hardware.

It goes very well in the settings of occupied U.S. of A. as, surprise surprise, there were (and are) a lot of black people in the country. Deal with it you racist pricks.
    Story is not too complicated but well executed. The cruelty of Frau Engel and her band of morons gave me shiver up my spine. The readable documents nicely contributed to the complexity of the world and pictured the nazi hate to untermenschen and their total lack of care for the lives of non-nazis, which were treated as livestock.
    Gameplay is nicely fast paced and fluent as in the previous games.
    I would give it a 10, but it seems that they focused primarily on the story and forgot to implement boss battles or any remarkable enemies.
    All in all a very good game which could be better if there were bosses or any other notable (and killable) enemy characters other than Frau Engel which you also see like 3 times total.

    Also Hitler gave it a zero. That means it cannot be bad ;)    … Expand

Similarly, if you are offended by the notion of the game addressing collaboration with the Nazi regime as well as the complacency of society towards it, it is probably worth taking a crash course in history. It is true that not all the characters and motifs work in The New Colossus' over-the-top story, but the complaints that some offended internet warriors have labeled against it are quite ridiculous.

    With that out of the way, I would first list the aspects of the game that I found lacking:

    - level design is not nearly as inspired or complex as in the New Order or even The Old Blood
    - while the cutscenes are exceptional for the most part, it would be worth the extra effort not to have them pre-rendered in an uneven quality but be done in-engine.
    -while the game is not short in its own right, playtime does feel significantly reduced compared to the New Order.
    - the Oberkommando assassination missions are a repetitive and mostly redundant addition; the energy and resources would have been better spent in making the original levels larger and more engaging.
    - this is a very subjective and personal gripe, but I hated the cocky heavy metal music track during the end titles. They could have stuck with something much more subtle yet powerful. Given the game's retro vibe, I'm sure MachineGames would have been more than able to come up with better ideas.

    On the positive side (and there are plenty):

    + most of the game's characters are well-written and great attention is given to small story beats that make them feel unique. i found Sigrun particularly brilliant from beginning to end.
    + game maintains the outlandish retro-futuristic vibe of its predecessor very well.
    + even though the levels are uninspiring, the settings are impressive and varied, especially some off-beat parts exploring the main hero's past and his acting skills...
    + despite it being beyond ridiculous and jumping the shark several times, the story still manages to deliver a good mixture of strong narrative and character moments.
    + game ran flawlessly on mid-tier hardware (only issue I encountered was a buggy sky box at points).
    + gun play is just as visceral and effective as in the New Order and Old Blood.

Well, as least was nice b4 incident with BJ head - I really was like sitting on needles and thinking - what is going to happen, how he will survive? This hade transport was ... err, I don't know, quite unbelievable. On the other side, Hitler was really cool :D
    As for gameplay - it is solid shooter without much strategic elements, quite challenging - I was playing on -1 of max difficulty. Many different weapons (tho tbh 90% of time I used rifle).

    This is an excellent yet bizarre addition to the wolfenstein franchise which on paper should be a mess but is in fact a technical marvel with a very entertaining / dramatic / disturbing story combining walking simulator elements with doom like chaotic shootouts.
    Marred only by an unusually sluggish feeling fps engine that feels ... off??? I always felt like I was ploughing through the gameplay to get to the walking simulator story sections. This is far too entertaining to miss though! Esp if you are a fan of fps. I recommend playing on easy though else this is a very frustrating game to play IMO.    … Expand

    CONS: no controller mapping!!! i can't believe in 2017 a big game like this don't allow you to swap axis (i'm use to walk with the right stick and shoot with left) or refine other buttons

It had a better story, was much more tense, had more diverse guns. In this game, story tried really hard to be something more what it was in the first, and in my mind, it failed. It had some spectacular moments, like the execution scene, which was well written, but there was just lack of inspiration. Like if there was something holding back the dev team. The music is also as great as in the first one, but not as diverse. They tried making the game more interesting with these body upgrades, but I felt this as a gimmick from the time I first used them, so I haven't really continued using them, because I did not felt as bad-a$$ as I felt in the first game. This made me feel a super hero, which B.J. clearly isn't. For the first half of the game, B.J. is so depressed by his own destroyed body, that it even gave me the same feeling. I felt miserable after a while, because I tend to concentrate on story elements and "be inside the game" when I play games driven by story. Even though you could dual wield any weapon you chose, I felt like the laser rifle, and that instant de-materialising weapon from the first one was much more thought out. I also did not like the 3 new Heavy guns(diesel, laser etc).
    The pre-ending was not interesting at all, with the huge battle on the airship. It was challenging, but not interesting. There were just a bunch of enemies spawned, nothing that interesting there. Oh and let's not forget the anti-climactic ending. I was hoping for an awesome boss-fight like in the first game, to make me want more, but I just didn't.
    The buildings and the level layout was better, looked much more polished, but in overall wasn't as varied as in the first one.

    Overall, I would like a new sequel for the game, because overall it was a good experience, but please think the story through much more, and bring back epic boss fights on the end.    … Expand

A more open-worldy approach that facilitate infiltration and allows for a wider variety of approaches. I also liked that the devs did not compromise on the politically incorrectness of the first Wolfenstein in order to attract a wider public

    Cons: BJ is weak in this game, pathetically weak. Unlike the first game, where you could charge groups of ennemies and tackle them quite easlily, a few of them will overwhelm you fast here and you'll get killed pretty quickely. This negates part of the fun that comes from the wider maps approach, and can sometimes be infuriating.

    Spoil: also, the part on Venus was obvioulsy rushed, and not nearly as good as the part on the Moon in The New Order.    … Expand

    What more could you ask for? You get to kill Nazis in style. Solid gameplay, great graphics, and Nazi killing! If you can't afford the game just yet, pass some time watching videos of Nazis getting punched online. And remember, the only good Nazi is a dead one!

    Everything that one was hoping from a Wolfenstein sequel. Absolutely stellar game. Mick Gordon has done yet another fantastic soundtrack. The characters are great and the story is wonderfully over the top again.

    I love this gunplay and cutscene dialogues, those little scenes on submarine and most bad ass protagonist ever aka Blazcovitz so much I will ignore horrible optimisation and sjw pandering.
    Seriously, that was even better than TNO.

    We are approaching 2018 and it is not tolerable that I'm not able to play 4K with a 4000 euros PC.

    5. Lip syncing...non existing. Not only the characters barely move their lips during dialogues (and are certainly not in sync) but I was in this town and a woman was talking to a nazi officer and their lips didn't move at all despite the obvious voice acted dialogue.
    6. Obvious plot holes here and there.

The added abilities and perks and upgrades are very welcome, as is the more immersive story and brutal violence. This is Wolfenstein on steroids, with some Saints Row level crazy antics. It's shocking. It's comical. It's badass. It's a rich game world (some of the collectibles' references to Donald Trump are hilarious). It's fast-paced and action-packed. What more could you want!?

    On a technical level, the game also runs well and looks great, though it requires some tweaking to get the best out of it. After much experimentation, I'm managing to achieve a stable 60 FPS using mixed settings (mostly on Ultra) with a GTX 1060 6GB, i5-3470, 12GB DDR3-1600 MHz RAM at 4K (2160p) resolution (albeit with 42% resolution scale)! Though to be honest, the game doesn't look significantly better than Wolfenstein The New Order, and that's coming form someone who played it on Xbox One (though it was one of the first and only shooters to achieve 1080p60 on console, at least at the time). The only real complaint with the graphics is the unsually low texture quality. Perhaps this is a bug or some graphics setting but the textures are definitely inconsistent in quality both between and within levels.

    Finally I have to give this game much praise for something absurdly simple yet practically a godsend: the loading times. I have it installed on an external 7200 RPM hard drive, and it is a big game obviously. Yet after disabling the intro movies (easily done by renaming the video file), from the moment I press "Play" on Steam I can be in the level within 20 seconds. Better yet, when you die (which will happen quite often on the hardest difficulties), you'll be thankful that the game doesn't mess about with ridiculously long death animations. It immediately reloads the last save when your health goes to 0. And guess how long this takes on a mechanical hard drive? About 2 or 3 seconds. Combine this with the ability to save the game at literally any moment along with your progress saving between deaths for things like perk unlocks, collectibles, upgrades etc. and you have a game where you can easily die a hundred times on the same checkpoint and not feel frustrated whatsoever!

    I don't usually write reviews for games before I finish at least the main campaign, but for Wolfenstein: The New Colossus I don't feel I need to see any more to warrant a recommendation. With so many disappointments and shady business practices in the current gaming industry, Wolfenstein II is a shining beacon that reminds us how simple it is to make a great video game. You don't need to re-invent the wheel or do anything drastically different. With incremental improvements in many areas and continuing the story (and without censorship!), improving the game world and not littering the game with microtransactions, whilst keeping features which add value such as challenge modes (and not shovelling in a half-baked multiplayer just because it's a first-person shooter), Wolfenstein II is surely the de-facto standard for modern single-player first-person shooters. It stays true to its legacy yet moves the franchise forward; arguably more so than the similar DOOM (2016).

    My only complaints after finishing the game are the crashes which seem to happen more regularly, the unimproved graphics and worst of all, the complete lack of any changes to the already basic scoring system in the challenge mode.    … Expand

Bethesda could have made a better PC port, though — I was really frustrated with the bugs and crashes I have had to encounter during my walkthrough. With all these nice words regarding this title, I would love to see the next game and I am looking forward to playing it.

    It's been a long time since I enjoyed a FPS as much as I did the New Colossus, I would place it right up near the top with some of the best ever FPS like Half life 2, Bioshock & Halo.

    Anyone who's allowing their own petty political views to taint their opinions on this or stop them from playing altogether deserves to miss out.

    But it’s an enjoyable 6 and a half hours...
    much more linear as well with the same concepts of taking out scouts so they don’t trigger alarms, and stealthing through areas or going in guns blazing…
    The weapon variety isn’t as vast, but you have your typical base weapons you’d expect in most shooters... but to bring some variety in, your guns are all upgradable, allowing you to add a perk to give them an entirely different feel….
    The level design isn’t that great this time around…
    it feels pretty dull and generic…
    The greatness comes in the setting and the story telling…
    when the game puts you into perspective of the world around you..
    Without the great story pieces, this is still a good shooter… but just good...
    There are no epic fights or showdowns…
    Just a bunch of running from point a to b and shooting everything in your way…
    it plays and feels how you’d expect, but no moments outside of cut scenes blew me away
    I love how the story was delivered though, in ways you wouldn’t expect and are surprising each time…
    This game will break your heart, it will give you hope, it will take it away…
    for those reasons alone, you owe it to yourself to play through this first person shooter…

    While it loses some of the elements of the new order that made it so great from a technical perspective it's very positive. The story is underwhelming but it isn't the main focus here. The gameplay hasn't changed much since the previous game which isn't a bad thing however some alterations would have been preferred.

I'm kind of in awe that some people are giving this game 0/10 or 1/10 for reasons like too short or no multiplayer, Well first of all for a single player game the story is damn long and has plenty of replay value, with exceptional game play, voice acting and narrative that keeps the story engaging, it's just the same as watching a well made film that gives you enjoyment multiple times over you have a game gives you that exact same feeling although you have many more hours and get to be a part of the action. Now to people that say no multiplayer......... just **** off.......yep simply put **** off, you knew this game was not going to have multiplayer so using that as a detractor is like buying a car knowing it's a three door and then complaining to the manufacturer that it doesn't have five,which quite simply makes you sounds a remtard short of trying to bite your own ear off while trying to use your fingers to touch your wrists.

    My hat goes off to the developers who have poured time, effort and love in to this game and have created something that hasn't been seen in modern gaming for the last 20 years,and with the recent craze of loot boxes, DLC and season passes suffocating games in a cloud of greed it's a welcome change for a developer to show how things should be done, so please support games like these and hopefully EA, Ubisoft and other "AAA" developers will take note and stop producing games for the sole purpose of testing how tight they can squeeze their consumers ****

    This is an awesome game; I liked the previous one, and this one is even better. The combat is so visceral, much better than most shooters. I want a gun that feels real, not a pea shooter, and this game delivers. The graphics are fine--not the best, particularly in cutscenes, but they're still quite good. I didn't have any technical problems.

    - Even the cutscenes are great.

    - Great acting and dialogues - for instance main villain, supported NPCs (check-out the strawberry milkshake scene), BJ Blazkowitch monologues, and so on...

    - Good music

    - Enough of aww moment, such as riding the dog, beheading, some great fight sequence, etc.

    Cons
    - there are a few fps dips
    - game freezes a few times
    - only single player, yet this is what this game was meant to be.

    I've almost completed the game, so far it is all great. Didn't regret playing any of it.

    On the other hand, what i found here that AC Origins got a lot of 10/10 user ratings, this let me doubt that whether AC Origins is paying people / bots to rate their product better and Wolfenstein with the low grade. For instance, most user review for Wolf.. they criticize about the storyline / politics and stuff. On the other hand for AC origins, the reviews that i've read such as the game works great on FX 8350 with GTX 1050ti on auto detect graphics settings, buying it from uplay instead of steam, makes the game run more smoother, uplay offers rewards so no need to pay for perks, and so on...

    I would strongly recommend people to go for this game, don't go with the user ratings that you see here, play for yourself and judge. I would give it 9 coz of a few graphical issues that i've faced.    … Expand

    Awesome! Well-written, immersive story even if it is a little bit short. I finished the game in 8-9 hrs which is a little bit short for me and nothing really new compared to the previous installments. but that's okay because it is still a Wolfenstein game and it should be.
    Good job Bethesda, maybe make the next game at least 10-12 hrs long.

    Great game. I have absolutely no idea why this game has such poor user reviews. It's one of the best games of 2017. It's a must have. Fantastic story, gameplay and characters. It's funny at parts and absolutely brutal in others. Highly recommended.

The gameplay is fun, storyline is good, very good optimization as well, I don't have a beast pc and I could play this game in 1080 on medium with 60+ fps, no fps drops, no freezes.     Well written, evocative story elements help fill in the back story of Blasko and his band of renegades. Great gun play and set pieces make this a must buy for any fan of the original game. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Wow. What a game. A wild ride from the begining till the end. The focus on the single player campaign paid off and delivered an experience as intense on action as doom, and as intricate on the storyline as bioshock.

    Highly recommended.

    System wise for the PC: smooth and stable for me. (i5-3570k, 16GB, GTX1080) Technically excellent, very stable, very beautifully done.

    BTW, There are no damn loot boxes in here!

    Now coming to the performance side I ran it on a PC with a GTX 1060 3GB and I faced severe VRAM usage issue hoffing almost 3GB on medium setting . Frame rate stays solid 60 with V-SYNS OFF resulting in annoying screen tering . Apart from these if the camera is focused on specific areas the framerate dropped drasticall if the V-Sync is kept on . I'll recommed everyone to play this game on a console as it is better optimized .

    Finally , although it didn't live up to my expectation . I'll still recommed any wolfesntein fans to play this game for for it does right which is solid shooting mechanics .    … Expand

Man wird nicht belohnt dafür das man ein 100 % Ende versucht... die Enigma Maschine die paar Zusatzmissionen freischaltet hätte mehr Teil der Hauptstory sein sollen die die Story vorantreibt ... so ist es nur ein optionales unwichtiges nice to have ...

    Hoffe auf einen Teil 3 .. die Teile sind als Trilogie angelegt .. *spoiler* Seine Mutter ist noch immer verschollen und Adolf lebt auch noch ... *spoilerende* .. da lässt sich sicher noch ein guter dritter Teil zusammenbauen.    … Expand

    Честно говоря я даже не знаю с чего и начать, с того что я разочарован или с того что это один из самых хороших шутеров, что я когда либо играл. Я не буду упоминать Нью Ордер, просто не буду, так как это не имеет смысла.

    Честно говоря я даже не знаю с чего и начать, с того что я разочарован или с того что это один из самых хороших шутеров, что я когда либо играл. Я не буду упоминать Нью Ордер, просто не буду, так как это не имеет смысла.
    Вся игра представляет собой запуск миссии из подобия коммандного центра, но в тоже время остается полностью линейной, к тому же сильно удобрена длинными катсценами. К шутерной механике я не имею никаких претензий, это вариативно, апгрейды оружия, улучшения перков в зависимости от стиля игры и так далее. Музыка мне лично очень сильно напоминает Дум. Левел дизайн сделан на высочайшем уровне.
    И вот на этом плюсы к сожалению и заканчиваются.
    Но вот тут начинается самое интересное - сюжет. Игра несет игрока через гущу событий так быстро насколько это максимально возможно и знаете ради чего? Чтобы абсолютно позорно и глупо слится к концовке. Я не буду спойлерить концовку, но она, честно, убогая. Она просто никакая. Все эти сюжетные вау моменты и крутости некоторых постановочных сцен просто нивелируются этой странной концовкой. (Стоит кстати отметить, что тема Гитлера раскрыта очень хорошо, запоминается так сказать).
    И вот теперь мы так плавно подходим к технической части. И вот тут тоже полный, кхм, ужас. Я не буду ничего говорить про производительность, однако мне бы хотелось знать указанные рекомендованные для каких настроек? 970~1060 и эта самая 970 не держит стабильных 60 на ультра, не говоря уже про убер или мейне либе. Вылетов, крашей и зависаний как у ораторов в отзывах я не наблюдал, поэтому скорее всего опять компы через одно место собрали и ноют, однако лично у меня была иногда проблема что во время взрывов вместо эффекта собственно взрыва было большое черное пятно на экране, не знаю в чем причина. Потом не совсем понимаю смысла выпускать игру исключительно на вулкане, ведь есть видеокарты этот самый вулкан не поддерживающие, но который спокойно бы вытянули бы игру в 720п на минималках. Почему не дать выбор меж опенгл и вулкан, как это реализовано в думе? Не понимаю.
    В целом игра на 910, но концовка очень сильно портит впечатление.    … Expand

Lack of many features in gameplay (like overkilling cold weapon wield enemy with knife, shooting from rope when climbing a wall, exploring different area and not just a submarine) and lack of that mood which cutscene of Wolfenstein the new order was able to achieve via innovative storytelling which in this case turned to predictable story; turned experiencing Wolfenstein II for a hyped fan like me a little disappointing.
    Also turning shooting from cover something not necessary according to some changes in gameplay which made Wolfenstein something like Doom somehow; plus not having new and memorable enemies and boss fights are another down part.
    Anyway in my perspective, if you are not a hype fan of the new order; it is a decent game and a recommended one.    … Expand

    Actual problems with the game:
    The ability to be stealthy in this game is at best inconsistent and at worst laughable. The levels are not well balanced. There seem to be far too many weapons, given that you only use two to three of them for the most part.

Тут мы играем за терминатора,которой на инвалидной коляске Не умирает за несколько выстрелов от немецких солдат. То есть, в армию берут штурмовиков из звездных войн,которые при всем при этом еще и глухие.Если я просто иду,то на меня агриться огромное количество солдат,но если я иду на ctrl то все - Я неуязвим для ушей противника.Я спокойно расстреливаю солдат с пулемета, и даже если они что-то крикнут,то тревога не поднимется. Слишком убогая стелс-система. Угол обзора вражеских солдат меньше чем 90 градусов. По поводу стрельбы - с ней все хорошо. Тебе на протяжении всей игру не кажется,что оружие пластмассовое. Есть игры,в которых ты наводишься на одну точку,зажимаешь целую обойму в стену,и отдачи будто-бы нет.Здесь все не так. Тебя трясет как больного эпелепсией во время приступа. И казалось бы,ну вроде все не плохо,за что 6? Сюжет в этой игре просто отвратительный. СПОЙЛЕРЫ: Как можно брать на борт дочку генерала нацистской армии?Почему я не могу убить капитана-наркомана?Почему меня заствляют зачищать огромный нацистский корабль со своей беременной женой?Почему нет права выбора.     Oyun her anlamda mükemmel olmuş. Grafikler olsun sesler olsun sıkmayan bölümler ve bulmacalar olsun. Merak ederek ve keyifle oynadığım çok başarılı bir oyun olmuş. 10 /10

    An excellent elaborated plot, flavored with a strong atmosphere and beautiful graphics of the alternative World after the WWII. A lot of hard and juicy game-play, flavored with sparkling sarcasm of the game's heroes. Cool reinforced concrete action game... THE NEW COLOSSUS in my opinion, is the quintessence of all that can be said about this franchise.     The best shooter I've played so far. Good storyline, great graphics, well written AI and a relateable character makes this game a must-have in any shooter-fan's library.

    Shooter of the year! It plays great, looks spectacular and sounds amazing. What’s more, despite an apparent lack of seriousness it’s not afraid to bring up difficult subjects, mixing comedy and tragedy in a stunning way. It’s a ridiculously good game. [13/2017, p.30]

    The re-ignited fight against the swastika is great action fun once again. It is a pity that a story is not intriguing enough, and it applies to it: what’s long, is stupid. [Issue#280]
