    Best game ever made, hands down! It's a masterpiece. It's better than Skyrim, it's better than Elden Ring, it's the pinnacle of Entertainment.

    My favorite game of all times, a 1st person hack & slash rather than a shooter with superb level design and a basic leveling system withoutMy favorite game of all times, a 1st person hack & slash rather than a shooter with superb level design and a basic leveling system without RPG overkill for those who are not into that. It's the best Build Engine game! Yes, forget DUKE NUKEM 3D and SHADOW WARRIOR!
    Unlike HEXEN/HERETIC from Raven Software the focus here is on melee combat, however bow & arrows as well as throwing axes exist. Weapons degrade and break when used, which I am not a fan of.
    Magic scrolls and 5 different potions as well as artifacts that are used instantly when picked up add a tactical component to the game which is rather difficult.
    Run with BuildGDX to get it working on newer systems (Win10) and with higher resolutions.
    There are some minor issues I have: some monsters look rather goofy instead of scary (goblins!), weapons deteriorate too quickly and the controls are slightly lagging which takes some getting used to.
    Fans of medieval hack & slash who always wanted a 1st person view this is a must-have. Avoid the terrible sequel however.    … Expand
