  • Summary: "What is death?"

With this question in my heart, I visit a cemetery far from the noise of the city. There, I am greeted by a woman - the town’s sole gravekeeper, a quiet watcher of death. She offers neither affirmation nor denial; she simply speaks. Why must we die? What happens
    "What is death?"

With this question in my heart, I visit a cemetery far from the noise of the city. There, I am greeted by a woman - the town’s sole gravekeeper, a quiet watcher of death.

She offers neither affirmation nor denial; she simply speaks.

Why must we die? What happens after we are gone? Is eternal life beyond our reach?

Through conversations with the gravekeeper, I begin to confront the anxieties and fears humanity has carried since the dawn of time.
