Mar 27, 2012There is basically nothing you could say that is wrong with this game. It is prime example of how arena shooter should look like. Built on UT3 engine, implemented physics. There are few game modes to play and all of them are fun. Add low price and you will get hooked up. For anyone who played and enjoyed good old GridWars, Waves is a must get game.

Mar 22, 2023It's a good little game, if someone wants it, it's a well-written program, the music is also good.

Mar 14, 2012Waves is a game designed to be a quick distraction: ten minutes here, ten minutes there. Each of the game modes accommodates that, but the game itself doesn't let you just switch off and blow stuff up without thinking.

PC Gamer UKJan 29, 2012There are no hidden depths in Waves, but it's worth splashing out on it. [Feb 2012, p.112]

Dec 13, 2011Despite a few small issues and the disappointment at the lack of multiplayer of any kind, I still found Waves to be a highly entertaining twin-stick shooter with some really interesting rules to keep the formula fresh.
