    Complete just controls. Im surrounded by cops Meshing E button to sit into the car and run but it disaded to punch a gard. like W the FFFF. My friend wanted to revive and he hit E to revive and his character run to a rac and sit inted of reviving me. online is total trash. nothing to do there. One impossible mission that I did play 40 + time and never pass it. I did play it in 4 playersComplete just controls. You can not play the story mod in coop. it was the most important option for me and my friend but no. no story coop but be happy to drive around in empty map of online where you can play a few missions that are impossible even if you have a team. Every player I did play that missing with quiet the game. it was that irrorating.… Expand

    After the first two games were kinda fun, this one was absolutely horrible. The Legion mechanic is absolutely not worth pursuing, and all the missions are absolute chores. Characters are absolutely one dimensional and are rebellious in a way a 14yo in his edgy phase is.

    Save your money.

    It WILL be a waste of your time. Trust me. Every Ubisoft game becomes repetitive and tedious very quickly. This one is around 3 hours in, everything starts to be the same mechanics over and over again.

    Do you want some help? Just ask me, ask anyone that understands the idea behind Watchdogs, This Franchise is my number one priority that requires a remake, completely from the ground up.
    And you decide Black Flag needs an Update, how dense are you?

    One day, and I guarantee this, One day I will work for you, I will pitch a Watchdogs Remake, and you're not gonna say no.

    WD Legion is the worst game in the franchise, period, and I dislike almost every single aspect of it.
    But I'm fair towards games, that's just my nature, so congratulations you get a 5/10. It is a borderline standard game, it's not bad, it's not good either.

    If you ever come to your senses and start development on a Watch_Dogs remake I want to be in on it. I will not let an opportunity like that be wasted, by poor management, and development, at least not in this reality.    … Expand

    Had they let players create their own character i would have given them a decent score other than that the game looks garbage boring story, i thought watch dogs 2 was cringe of a game but this one right here took it to the next level of cringe. the original warch dog deserves a visit after all.

    Is an OK game, not great, If you keep a browser open the game will crash in minutes, But if you don't keep a browser open there is no crash EVER, Performance wise is not very optimized, specially when driving fast on cars. Story is OK, nothing great, game-play is fun, Get this if is on a sale, if is not on a sale, I don't recommend it, not at full price!

    I loved the game, has diversity and different concepts. I love the DLC too, which had comeback of infamous Aiden peirce and Wrench.

    i'm disapointed...even in 2023, i had many crash...ubisoft is really bad for this.
    Concerning the game, i prefer watchdog 2, cuz Legion is broken because there is no main character, no real character with something that makes the game alive...there is no soul...really i've played 9 hours but crashes and mediocrity prevent me to finish the game...i really dont want to play anymore...

    As a fan of Ubisoft franchises, I must admit that Watch Dogs Legion has let me down. Despite enjoying the thrill of recruiting people, completing missions, and hacking things, I have noticed several optimization issues that I cannot overlook. Especially since I expected better from a company that knows how to create an Open World.
    For instance, every 10/15 minutes, characters suddenly    As a fan of Ubisoft franchises, I must admit that Watch Dogs Legion has let me down. Despite enjoying the thrill of recruiting people, completing missions, and hacking things, I have noticed several optimization issues that I cannot overlook. Especially since I expected better from a company that knows how to create an Open World.
    For instance, every 10/15 minutes, characters suddenly appear on the road while driving. Additionally, I encountered missions that completed themselves without me doing anything, such as the one where one of my activists had just been arrested and then, by entering a new zone, I was praised for destroying the weapons depot, which was located in another area.
    I also stumbled upon strange interpenetrations between NPCs and objects in the surrounding environment, such as when I saw a window cleaner approaching, only to discover that he was completely "melded" with the building behind him.
    Another thing that I didn't like was the lack of interaction between standard characters. I noticed that even if some of them know each other, such as a grandmother and an activist grandson, they seem like perfect strangers during dialogues.
    Compared to the previous two installments, Watch Dogs Legion seemed far inferior, yet the first one was a masterpiece, and the second had a lively world full of activities that made you forget the repetitiveness of the main story.    … Expand

    positives: graphics, world, story is decent (better than far cry 5 or fallout 4).
    negatives: some bugs, story could be better.
    Overall i feel people are way too harsh on it, it's still very fun game to play and way better than second watch dogs.

    Graphics are decent and that's all there is. I played only 3 hours because there was nothing engaging. Magic hijacking and pointless missions supporting a stupid plot and the most ridiculous: the mask the team member wear when they get into action.

    In technical terms, there are no questions, the graphics are nice, the optimization is good.
    In terms of plot, it's bad. The story and characters are completely uninteresting. I could not play it for a long time, I immediately lost interest in the game.

    No creo que sea el mejor juego de Ubisoft. Es mediocre, es dificil encariñarse de algunos de sus personajes, sus misiones son bien repetitivas, entre otras cosas. Lo que si puedo decir es que lo de los personajes da cierto gran abanico para pasar la historia, además de que gráficamente luce muy bien. Por lo demás, está mal optimizado hasta el día de hoy. Comprarlo solo si está en oferta.

    After playing the second chapter of the Watch Dogs saga, I was excited at the announcement of this new game.
    Since I enjoyed the previous chapter, I thought this game would have been an improved version of its predecessor, simple but fun and, overall, well made, even if not perfect. Unfortunately, in my opinion, with this new chapter, Ubisoft completely missed    This game disappointed me.

    Since I enjoyed the previous chapter, I thought this game would have been an improved version of its predecessor, simple but fun and, overall, well made, even if not perfect.
    Unfortunately, in my opinion, with this new chapter, Ubisoft completely missed the target.
    Technically the game is poorly optimized and performs badly on a mid-tier pc.
    The perceived visual quality, even with RTX enabled, is surprisingly mediocre and fails to give that satisfaction that I was hoping to get from a game like this.
    Sure the reflections are amazing, but the textures and game environment seem from an older game, lacking the quality I was expecting from a title like this.
    Technical part aside, I found the story too long and monotonous.
    In the previous chapter, the adventures of Marcus and his crew managed to pull me into the game and guide me smoothly till the end of the main story, making me feel involved in the narration.
    Unfortunately, this time, the story and narration are marginal and superficial, lacking that empathy with the characters and that feeling of diving into the storytelling that even a simple but well-narrated plot can deliver.
    I don't want to be drastic, but the storytelling was so marginal that, after a few hours, I gradually lost interest in the story without even realizing it.
    From that moment, the narration became nothing more than a navigator through the missions, just telling me what to do next.
    I also found, in general, the game's quests flat and repetitive, making the whole experience even more annoying.
    As previously said, I'm very disappointed by this game, and I hope Ubisoft will learn from this failure how to make something better next time, maybe shorter, a bit simpler, but with seriously improved quality.    … Expand

    The game looks nice and overall a decent game. The story is repetitive and cliché, the hacking is great at first but after the 25. time its boring, the twists can be seen far away. Gameplay with several characters is unique, but the conversations are awkward because of this most of the time and no personal storyline is present.

    in short, the game is so boring, tons of useless collectibles as its the usual Ubi****, even the bloodline DLC is crap, you play 20% as Aiden and then the rest is wrench although it should be about Aiden not wrench, anyhow, its not that exciting nor a fun game.    … Expand

    Basicly city was nice, but after i tried gameplay... driving by car it's one big disaster... but the worst thing was builded store xD Paying for game to get another micropayments xD I will wait when they release next Watch Dogs with freemium with micropayments and ads only. Sorry but i don't like when Ubi doing ATM from customers.

    After playing the entire bloodline storyline and part of the main campaign, I can confidently say that the game is average at best.. Not the worst Ubisoft game but certainly not the best. The game's performance on PC is not the best. The frametimes are all over the place and it's extremely stuttery. Even considering I'm using G-SYNC. The story is meh (Bloodline's is much better but stillAfter playing the entire bloodline storyline and part of the main campaign, I can confidently say that the game is average at best.. Not sure if it was worth the money and I surely rather play Cyberpunk 2077 than this. But it's not a terrible game.

You can play as anyone in the game except the 5 main bad guys so the voice acting took a hit. There were like hardly 6 voices pasted on different-looking characters. The Assassin's Creed DLC was done soIts a very repetitive game that held so much potential to be a great game but it fell flat. The game lacked direction since it is one of the first game to get rid of the concept of NPC. You can play as anyone in the game except the 5 main bad guys so the voice acting took a hit. There were like hardly 6 voices pasted on different-looking characters. The Assassin's Creed DLC was done so poorly. Ubisoft trying to put magic and mystical powers in regular world never go hand in hand. The game could have been more grounded and better if it just went with WatchDogs Bloodline DLC as the main story which was actually well done and enjoyable throughout.

    Tip - Just download the Prestige Operative mod to get all the best characters in the game and I would recommend playing the entire game as Aiden or Wrench since their voice acting and dialogue are the best in the game.    … Expand

    is fun and motivating. cool new features with so many agents available with different skills but has to many weaknesses to get 8/10 or better. too many bugs/glitch. you feel its not well polished. performance problems...the longer you play the lower the fps and so on. 7/10 is still a good game but not more.

    Начал прохождение с DLC и оно мне понравилось.
    Запустил после основную игру и обомлел. Нам предлагается играть за рандомного неинтересного персонажа. Какой смысл? Ожидал хотя бы что-то на уровне DLC. Техническое состояние игры все еще отвратитьельное. На i5-9600k @ 5.000 Ghz и RTX 3060 наблюдаются    Играл в последний патч 1.5.6. Игнорировал все обзоры на игру до первого прохождения.
    Начал прохождение с DLC и оно мне понравилось.
    Запустил после основную игру и обомлел. Нам предлагается играть за рандомного неинтересного персонажа. Какой смысл? Ожидал хотя бы что-то на уровне DLC.

    Техническое состояние игры все еще отвратитьельное.
    На i5-9600k @ 5.000 Ghz и RTX 3060 наблюдаются просадки до 55 fps в разрешении 1080p. Пробовал самые низкие настройки и разрешения - просадки остались. Значит производительность упирается в процессор. Xbox Game Bar показывает что используется только 70% мощности процессора, а видеокарта даже не напрягается. Если бы основная часть была бы интересной, можно и потерпеть, но тут не тот случай.    … Expand

    I love the game. The story is brilliant. The atmosphere is great. The game has grown very close to my heart. Main game and DLC Season Passes: Played through everything completely. Super UBISoft. Great game. Too bad that not a second Season Pass comes. I can recommend to everyone. Aiden Pearce, Wrench, the humor of Bagles. Ingenious.

    Поиграл 2 часа. Очередная гриндилка от юбисофт. Как обычно, плохая оптимизация на пк при хреновом графоне. Часть интерфейса перекачивала из ассасинов. Сюжет хреновый, музыка тоже. Остаётся лишь геймплей, который тоже не очень. Я в определённом моменте вообще застрял на непроходимом паркуре.Поиграл 2 часа. Очередная гриндилка от юбисофт.     Ok soo, this one was weird to rate because i respect what they tried, they decided to not have the same "Main character hero goes around and does everything" and tried the "Let's recruit a revolutionary group of people and use them all". The idea was amazing! Unfortunately they didn't do a good enough job to make it work. The first problem for me was the voice...    Score: 7.1

    The first problem for me was the voice... Multiple voices were the same and didn't match their bodies whatsoever! I had a chinese old lady that sounded like Mary Poppins...
    The edgyness was also bad for me, i ended up only recruiting normal people.
    THe recruitment was ok but it got stale after a while.
    The world was very good! I really liked driving around altough the performance was not amazing.

    The story was boring honestly... I literally played it just talking with friends on discord, had no interest in it, and i just finished it because i have OCD and couldn't just give up after 20 hours soo i forced myself to end it.

    If u see it at 10 euros buy it, anything more than it is not enough.    … Expand

    About the recruiting concept, could be nice but needs some proper work behind it. Recruitable characters are mainly the same with different abbilities, but when a spy, an anarchist and a construction worker talk in exactly the same way...the lack of work on them shows.
    Difficulty is non-existant basically. Yes, a few of the last missions make you get in gunfights with many enemies, but apart from that you can basically use your spider bot (that's crazy op) to do every single mission, not even having to get your operative in restricted areas. And even if you do, you can easily go guns blazing without a problem.
    If we get into vehicles, thats another dissapointment. The futuristic look just gave developers the perfect excuse to put next to zero work in this. They're way too similar, most of them empty (yes, "IA driving" might work for taxis but not for all) and sound is so bad that you almost don't see the difference when it gets bugged and just dissapears, wich happens a lot (one of many, many bugs).
    So talking about bugs, having played the game way after it's release date, it's amazing how many there are even for an Ubi game (we know they're quite the bug lovers). Car sound dissapearing being one, npcs appearing from nothing while you're driving in the middle of the road (sometimes Albion sees you killing them and you get into a nice bug-pursuit) when not appearing fighting in the middle of a highly restricted area. Typical texture problems with characters as well, or those drones flying inside others, teletransporting instead of flying (no fps problems, just bugged)...just too many for a supposedly top class game.
    Missions are ultra repetitive, even main missions have always the same "hack this, fight there" sctructure. Secondary missions are a mix of no story, hack and kill and a few decent missions, while recruiting missions are just nonsense. Just the same 4 or 5 standard missions on repeat, having nothing to do with the character itself.
    So yes, I think it's pretty bad for what what's supposed to be, but still a 4 because you can get some decent play hours out of it (even when it feels more arcade than sandbox).
    On the good side, playing in London is a nice update from repeating the same USA cities over and over again.    … Expand

    Absolutely awful in terms of performance (performance is crap regardless of settings and hardware); gameplay is a joke as well. Watchdogs 1 was a great game; after that, ubisoft can only produce trash. Same goes for what came after Wildlands, Odyssey, and The Division. The games they make now target idiocracy.

There are practically no characters who actually have a decent backstory or interesting personality without being killed at the beginning of the game or getting almost no screen time whatsoever.

    The gameplay is almost nothing new besides from a few new additional gadgets. But it's the same premise - kill people, hack stuff, get in, and complete the objective. After playing for about 5-10 hours, the gameplay becomes repetitive and redundant, and it was a struggle for me to keep coming back to the game and force myself finish the campaign. All cars feel same and whole city map feels very claustrophobic. And the crashing issues oh my god , i faced them in valhalla and same thing here. So i uninstalled the game and proceeded to a refund.     Sehr gutes Spiel für Ubisoft-Verhältnisse... Bietet Langzeitmotivation, ist interessant gestaltet, London ist sehr gut getroffen und die Welt wirkt auch ziemlich lebendig. KI ist im Kampf zwar nicht sehr intelligent, aber für die Story und die eigene kleine Revolution ist das Game völlig in Ordnung

    I've started playing this a year after release and I was hit with a game breaking bug in the first mission.
    The only solution is to start new game, play for an hour and hope it won't glitch again.

    50fps en ville avec une 3090.... sérieusement ? Allez, 60FPS sans ray-tracing, et ça les tient péniblement. Et le jeu est sorti depuis 6 mois quoi ! Aucune chance qu'il soit un temps soit peu optimisé un jour pour PC.

    Je n'ai pas pu y jouer. Heureusement que j'ai pu le tester en WE gratuit, sinon s'aurait été de l'argent jeté à la poubelle....

    I used to love this game until the most recent update came out. With the release of TU 5.5 came a quest titled The New Creed. Part of the quest has you jumping from platform to platform. The problem is there is no jump button in the game.

    Интересные и веселые миссии, игру прошел вместе с доп миссиями и они не разочаровали. Миссии районов только через чур короткие, но вот например миссия, где мы заходим в дом к Скай Ларсен или миссия района, где мы попадаем внутрь Биг-Бэна очень удивили.
    Система агентов, она очень крутая. Можно гулять по городу и случайно завербовать мужа одной из агентов, это же реально круто!
    Перейдём к нейтральной стороне:
    Сюжет, он очень пресный, сделан для галочки, но с другой стороны ждать сюжет от Watch Dogs это глупо. Мне лично очень сильно понравилась арка со Скай Ларсен и в частности персонаж Бэгли, есть что то в нём такое, что притягивает.
    Отрицательная сторона:
    Физика, физика здесь просто отвратная, машины не рулятся никак, они как будто специально настроены очень чувствительно, физика стрельбы так же не обрадовала, но и не разочаровала, отдача есть, хоть и сделана очень деревянно, но вес оружия вообще не ощущаешь.
    Итак, подведем итог, я обожаю эту игру, эти 30 часов что я наиграл я получал удовольствие, меня эта игра реально смогла развлечь и не наскучила даже после прохождения доп. миссий. Я ставлю этой игре 5 баллов, хоть и понятно что она не идеальна, но я не совсем понимаю отзывы критиков, по моему игра реально достойна внимания!    … Expand

    I got the game with my new 3080 graphics card which makes it more funny that i can barely run the thing. poorly optimized doesn't even begin to describe it. I tried to push on but the writing is a joke and there is little to no immersion when the gangsters are all made up by middle aged women.

Игра ощущается как работа, как симулятор некой неоплачиваемой работы. Я хотел я отдыхать после тяжелого трудового дня, а не получать еще больше стресса. Стресс в игре бесконечен и нет места где я чувствовал себя в игре уютно.
    Бесконечные бои и погони - это очень выматывает и после 4 часов игры я чувствую себя изможденным и травмированным. Я не могу в этом тексте уместить всю тяжесть на душе, что я чувствую. Этой игрой можно пытать людей.
    Игра для нердов ноулайферов которым реально пострелушки кажутся чем-то интересным. Спасают игру лишь её посыл ввиде критики тоталитаризма, вопросы приватности и социальная повестка. Ну и виртуальный туризм по лондону. А так - весь геймплей это "пойди убей принеси" и так до бесконечности. В чём смысл этой чуши, зачем тратить на это время.    … Expand

I bought Ubisoft Plus for a month and thought it was a great deal to play games I heard bad reviews about. I liked the concept of this game when it first was announced. There were a lot of features shown during the announcement of this game and then it vanished off the earth for around 6 months. It got delayed multiple times and I was very excited about it when the release date was confirmed. I love the AC and the WD games. Some of my friends bought it on day one and told me it was not worth it, not giving it a decent chance. It took me 13 hours to complete the game and I actually enjoyed it, I just wish it was longer. There are some minor things about the game like its lack of mechanics, bugs, physics, and its very bad on great hardware. I have a 1070 and I had to, unfortunately, run the game on low settings to keep a steady 60 frames. I would say if you want to give this game a chance, buy it for $40 or lower and think of it as a sandbox game, instead of a story-driven game. There is still more to do after the 13 hours of story with side missions and getting new characters so I hope to play some more of this game before my Ubisoft Plus expires.… Expand

    Disappointed (when it came out last October) to find that the online play wouldn't be available for months. One of the great features of WD2.

    First odd thing I noticed is the character generation. You have to choose from one of several randomly generated choices. You skin color, sex, etc., and you can't reroll to get another random set.
    If you are not satisfied with the random choices you get, you go play through the intro mission again.

    This is so strange and offsetting. Why do I want to play a game where I'm just some rando?
    In real life I can just go walk around a shopping mall and merge into the crowd if I want that.

    Then you can play as another rando operative, the pick more rando NPCs so you can play them.
    Who in the hell wants to play this?
    People want to play someone special, the hero, etc., they want to be a meaningful protagonist or antagonist.
    Why can't we just play Dalton (the interesting James Bond like guy in the intro)?

I mean, they could have designed the game so that you'd really need to change charcter ! But no. Guess the writing is not the only thing that's lazy about this game.

    The open world lacks atmosphere : I mean it's supposed to be futuristic London, a few neon lights and self driving cars are not really impressive.

    The game is overall good looking but the animations look awful : they seem so dated and your character moves so robot-like ( there's your future atmosphere lol ).

    I put roughly 25 hours in the game and played through geforce Now so i could push the graphics and even then the game had a few crashes. And oh, the LOADING TIMES ARE SOOOOOOOOO LONG it's truely baffling at that stage.

    I really wish Ubi would commit to a single character and give them a focused story even if the campaign for only 20 hours.

    story is very bad i liked watchdogs 1 and 2 which had great story and characters watchdogs 3 has dumb character interaction than wd 2 and 1 car physics is bad i think it is copied from wd 1 and wd2 had good vehicle physics there is nothing to like in this game. concept was good but bad implementation
    and vehicles has no sound too feel u have control on it

    I have to Defend this Game! Most Negative reviews are just Lies on this. Must be a Hype, organized mob to Attack Ubisoft. It has improved Loads since release and feels very Smooth now. It’s not the strongest story but it’s what Games should be and that’s fun. I do wish that they would Push this series more towards WD1 as that was more bad ass. It’s a darn beautiful open-world playground to have fun in. You get a lot of gameplay nothing amazing but everything ok/Good Level. It does not really introduce it’s mechanics in the best way but you need to kind of find a handful of npc’s that you really enjoy, and this might take some time. Shooting is for sure one of the weaker aspects of the Game. A Game like this would have needed the immersive rag-doll physics, but instead it’s more arcady and yeah you can shoot NPC’s a few times before they go down. But this is Common these days as every game is getting designed to have a Online Mode. I felt more Stealthy on this than AC: Valhalla. I must admit the Stealth is not bad as you have the Hacking to Support you, and yes the Takedowns are Very Cool. You have all sorts of ways to do things, use you imagination.

    All in All if you play this by using your own imagination and make your own game, then you have a whole City as your Playground. If you come for a story to blow your mind and take you by the hand from the beginning to the end, then No it’s not this Game. It’s also a Unique Open-world title, one of it’s own Kind. 8/10    … Expand

    This game is getting more buggy with every update. The online is completely empty with missions that all feel the same and never add anything new. Campaign is the only thing in this game that feels somewhat decent.

    Not a bad game overall, gameplay-wise is fun. Avoid Permadeath Mode since you will lose Operatives forever due to being killed by silly bugs.    … Expand

    I spent 71 hours in this game and im ready to write a review about this game.

    Campaign: Its great. I had lots of fun with it but you cant replay any mission which kinda sucks because you can approach those missions in many ways. After you complete main storyline this game becomes a shell of itself. There is literally nothing to do except for recruiting people.     Graphics were amazing in some areas but looked like a ps3 game in others. I'm not one to care for graphics so long as it keeps me immersed so I had no problems with that.     So, I played this game for 24h now...
    I must say, that im largely disappointed. I was excited at first, enjoyed it for the first few hours but at the end - already in the middle of it - it just repeated itself over and over again.

    The story in this game is also very, very unsatisfying. I dont want to spoil here, but... the stereotypes in this story - atleast thats how I see it - are really hitting hard.
    So... about the world itself. The design of it is pretty decent, London looks great... BUT, its basically an empty city. The full potential of this map isnt used. Another thing disturbing me is this "cybepunky" like design flaw they choose. Everywhere - and when I say everywhere I mean everyhere - you see some shiny blinky led. The whole city basically is a giant rgb- gaming pc. This could've been handled better... less exaggerated.
    Now about the missions...
    You can free boroughs, you can recruit characters - which is not really necessary at all, cause you can basically do everything with one character - and of course there are the main missions.
    I dont want to talk about those, I want to talk about the secondary missions...
    I mean, they are cringy. Everytime you free a borough there is this random firework, with people shouting "ded sec go" or something similar like that. I get the idea behind it, but I can fairly say that this is repeating history. When I free a borugh, I want to have the feeling that theres some sort of tension getting created by us (dedsec), and I dont just want to have firework representing that everything is going to be fine, or that we are in control now - atleast partly. The game just feels... I wouldnt say incomplete, but it feels like something is missing.
    I get, when you say it is a good game... but my personal opinion is, that this game is not worth the money you paid for. Also, just a side note... the most awesome thing I experienced during this game, was a motorbike driving around circles and hitting humans until they are knocked out.

    Features a partial aesthetic resembling that of a cyberpunk fiction, all without the narrative depth that would bring it to life. A nauseatingly corporate produced copy and paste open world, with absolutely no inspiration in sight. You really can't make any NPC picked off the street into a compelling protagonist.

    Terrible craptastic game. Can't hop in online to quickly play with a friend. Game is super shallow. Game keeps crashing. I have a 2080 ti and a high end PC and crash in no other games.

    Terrible PC optimization, no cockpit view while driving. Watch Dogs 2 is still the best one. Ubisoft doesn't let you refund after launching the game once, so better pirate the game first to see if it can run well on your PC before buying.

    This game was absolutely terrible, I couldn't even get a refund. It was so terrible I couldn't play for more than 3 hours. If this was the only open world futuristic game in 2020 I'd consider 2020 the worst year for games. Thank god for Cyberpunk.

    Watch Dogs: Legion is an absolutely amazing game and honestly my GOTY! The concept of being able to recruit anyone is just amazing and is delivered amazingly. People have been saying that this games voice acting and lip-sinking is horrible - THIS IS NOT TRUE! As a British citizen i can say that the voices are amazing and sometimes hilarious to hear! Lip-sinking is not a problem either! TheWatch Dogs: Legion is an absolutely amazing game and honestly my GOTY! The concept of being able to recruit anyone is just amazing and is delivered amazingly.     In conclusion i love this game and just don't understand why its getting so much hate. I understand that there's been no DLC up to yet but i think this is because Ubisoft are focusing on releasing the multiplayer and i think as soon as we see that come out the sooner we will see the DLC come out as well.    … Expand

    This new mechanic is a great idea that is poorly implemented, My first character was a suave looking black guy with a posh English accent, his personality oozed charisma and all credit goes to the voice actor, by my 6th mission however he was dead, and instead I found myself playing as a Jamaican guy as he was the only voice actor in my collection who wasn't irritating. This being a game set in london I was really looking forwards to playing as a relatable protagonist, I found one guy I sorta liked but he got killed in the next mission due to a bug, I ended up playing the rest of the game as a camp Gen Z bloke who was quirky enough but didn't really deliver much during the games climactic scenes.

    I think it would have been better if they hadn't made such broad strokes, focused on 12 or so characters and built them up more so that when you loose them you feel it. Sure you could say that more playable avatars leads to more variety but 95% of the operatives I encountered during my 30 hour playthrough were either Jamaican or Female, or like, just plain drab.

    London proved itself to be a great reproduction, the gameplay itself was solid and locations were well put together, there was a lot of effort put into some of these spots but quite often you'd be in and out in 3 minutes by dropping a spider drone from the sky exactly where you needed them to be. I felt a bit bad for the level designers!

    At the 30 hour mark the game was starting to outstay it's welcome, I definitely got my moneys worth and it was fun to play, there was just something about this game that didn't sell itself to me. Like, why was it that every British character spoke like "Wa gwan rude boi, dat car is peng" or just posh, where were the scousers, the mancs, the southerners, the brummies? London isn't only populated by Londoners and Jamaicans.    … Expand

    The game engine of the game is so bad. I'm not sure if I want to proceed it further, have been playing it for a week. For instance, when I take a leap across the building from a "car elevator" ( the one that lifts the character up and down ). If I don't tap the cross button repetitively, the main somehow fall through the gap. And the important thing is, the animation when falling looksThe game engine of the game is so bad.     I have to admit, the game is fun. My main issue with it is the random crashes and especially the lauch error I had at first. I don't need to mentione the lack of help from Ubisoft. They were quick to respond, but every time I contacted them I always got the same "solutions", no matter I have tried everything they wrote in their troubleshoot. In the end it turned out to be a missing dllI have to admit, the game is fun. My main issue with it is the random crashes and especially the lauch error I had at first. In the end it turned out to be a missing dll file (vcruntime140_1.dll) to be precise. So in case anyone is having issue launching the game at start you could try finding this file somewhere and put it in your system32 folder. It worked for me and for many others.
    As for the game I am having fun playing it. The fight mechanics are fun, engaging, although it can get a bit repetetive. Missions are also fun, sometimes a bit repetitive, but still fun. Playing with gadges around, you don't even have to physically enter a restricted area most of the times to complete objectives, your gadgets can do the job. You can pretty much recruit every NPC you find on the street and play with him/her. Just mind you that you have a limit of how many people you can recruit. You can always retire a character from you crew and recruit another.
    Overall, the game is fun, but random crashes could occur. And don't waste your time contacting Ubisoft support. They are kind and try to help, but their solutions are pretty much useless, sorry to say that, but that's the truth, and in the end they abandon your case as they consider it as "resolved".    … Expand

    Legion is a return to the darker roots of Watch Dogs. It is also the best game in the series, regardless of whether you’re inclined to avoid violence and solve problems DedSec style (by hacking), or prefer to unleash a hail of bullets. The story improved big time and it is unsettling to realize how much the game’s dystopian reality resembles our own. [13/2020, p.62]

    Watch Dogs: Legion is a fun game, but in the end it doesn't stand out. The possibility of recruiting anyone is ambitious, but many, perhaps even more important elements have fallen victim to it. The game unfortunately falls into the ranks: to play and forget. [Issue#307]
