    This is how F2P games should be, you can farm everything, you can buy anything buy trading for plat, playable items are all farmable they're not blocked by some paywall, you have the option to pay money or not, it's up to you, no pay to win, even if you pay you still need to farm to be good. The game’s blend of gunplay, melee combat, and parkour movement system offers a high skill ceiling, letting players feel a genuine sense of progression as they increase their MR and master the game’s mechanics.

    The economic structure within the game is probably the best I've seen in a freeish-to-play game (I do buy the platinum when on discount). Nothing in WF is market exclusive. Even Platinum, the in-game currency, which can be purchased with real money, can also be earned through gameplay. In many cases its pay for convenience, do I want to farm or forma or buy a 3 pack? Do I really want to farm this arcane? etc. This gives every player a fair chance to acquire all the content without spending a dime, making for an even playing field if someone wants to spend their time instead.

    Graphics and sound design are robust, with a futuristic aesthetic that's both cohesive and unique. The continuous updates and additions from the developers keep the game fresh and add new layers of complexity and fun.

    That said, the game's grind may not be for everyone. While the core gameplay loop is enjoyable, it can feel repetitive to some. Additionally, new players might find the game's lack of direction and complex systems a bit daunting at first. I personally use outside tools and websites, the wiki is pretty much mandatory.

    But for those who invest the time to delve into its intricacies, WF offers a rich and rewarding experience. With its enjoyable gameplay and large community, its worth trying.    … Expand

    graphiquement on n'est pas sur la dinguerie de la décennie mais ça n'empêche pas au jeu d'être vraiment sexy, surtout sur next gen et PC. À mon sens ce qui fait que ce jeu est une masterclass c'est sa richesse. C'est un monstre de contenu, le nombre de quêtes, missions, personnages, armes, compagnons, etc..est absolument aberrant. Le jeu reçoit chaque année plusieurs maj qui vienne rajouter des équipements, des planetes, et avancer le scenario. d'ailleurs on remarque un savoir-faire croissant d'année en année.

    Tout ça est gratuit, je ne fais pas partie des gens qui pensent que nous devons prendre en compte le coût d'un jeu dans sa critique, mais je suis quand même obligé de préciser que tout ça est 100 % gratuit da A à Z,
    le jeu, les dlc, le online, tout. Évidement il y a des microtransactions in game mais a la différence de bon nombre de F2P il n'est pas NÉCESSAIRE de payer. Accessible a 100% monnayant une certaine somme de temps. Mais c'est ce qui en fait sa force, je trouve.
    J'aime perdre des heures de ma vie à farmer toute une journée quelque chose pour avoir le sentiment incomparable d'accomplissement quand je l'obtiendrai.

    Se construire un arsenal au fur et à mesure du temps passé sur le jeu est jouissif, bien plus que dans n'importe lequel autre.
    Mais c'est en mission que le jeu se démarque, on est des ninjas de l'espace donc forcément, c'est dynamique et fluide, et pas nerveux, ce qui est très différent. On n'est pas dans un fortnite ou call of à être accroché à sa manette constamment, ici on vole, on plane, on saute et on parcourt, c'est très bien géré !
    et ce n'est que la partie déplacement, le reste est encore mieux... Le gameplay va hériter de toute la richesse que le jeu a à offrir, aucune mission ne se ressemble

    il y a plusieurs factions d'ennemis sensibles a différent type de dégâts, il va donc falloir s'adapter en fonction de la mission visée
    Chaque arme a ses spécificités tant au niveau de la jouabilité que des caractéristiques de dégâts, les armes principales sont tout aussi importantes que votre arme de mêlée, il va falloir adapter son équipement pour chaque chose que vous voudrez faire, et surtout sont personnage.

    Chaque personnage dispose de 4 à 8 pouvoirs spécifiques, qui donneront un sens a votre rôle dans la partie
    Des personnages soignent, d'autre frappe, d'autres contrôlent, améliorent, piègent, se cachent, attirent les monstres etc etc...
    Évidement tout ça est en multijoueurs, coopératif donc vous aurez trois autres personnes avec vous qui, eux aussi, auront leurs équipements et leurs personnages, et tout cet amas d'équipement va synergiser et interagir. C'est ça la force de warframe, votre ami va tirer sur un ennemi avec du feu, si vous tirez sur ce même ennemi votre élément va se cumuler avec celui de votre ami, ce qui aura un effet différent. Pareil pour les pouvoirs de personnage

    J'ai plus de 2 500 h de jeu au compteur et j'aime toujours autant passer du temps avec mes amis à essayer de se faire la meilleure composition pour telle ou telle mission.

    It is truly F2P. You can not spend a dime on it, and still have all opportunities available to you. This is because you can farm items and trade for premium currency. The premium currency only speeds up your progression - though there is no competition, so you are buying convenience only.

    I enjoy it enough that I have purchased some of the premium currency over the years.

    The game is updated with major content fairly regularly. The Devs are in-touch with the community.

    Cons:
    - player (client) hosted games, so occasionally it is clunky when there are disconnects or the host leaves the group
    - some aspects are extremely grindy (like farming the Necramech for the first time!!)

    Hundreds of hours I spent on this game before ever doing a mission with a group of other people. Even playing solo, the grindy nature of Warframe scratched an itch I did not realise I had at the time. But when the itch was scratched, I lost interest fairly quickly after.

    It's an awesome game, you can travel in a planet kill some aliens and robots or something like that and you will have so much fun. I recommend this game a lot.

    Really great game. It keeps getting better. It has updates each month. The graphics are nice and they fit the mood, the overall style is pretty cool. One of the best free to play games I've played.

    The graphics are stunning, the music is diverse and unique. The lore is also very rich, and most of the characters are very interesting to me.     The game has a massive community, and you can find players who are more than willing to walk you through the game's complicated mechanics. Whether you play with friends or complete strangers, the game will be just as enjoyable. I'd even say that this is one of the best co-op experiences I've ever had. The only complaint I have about the game is that it is extremely difficult to get into as a new player; you'll need to do a lot of research and consult the wiki to understand most of it. Of course, the community is always willing to assist, whether in-game, on YouTube, or on Reddit; this game's community is extremely welcoming.

    The game also features a wide range of mechanics. Maybe you'd like to go fishing? You most certainly can. Hunting? Sure do. Want to pilot a spaceship? It's here. Perhaps you'd like to go skateboarding? Yes, you can, as strange as it may seem. It even has mecha.

    One of the most complex and interesting gameplay mechanics I've ever seen is the modding system. It's simple to use but difficult to master, there is a steep learning curve, but once you've modded a weapon to its full potential for the fifth or sixth time, you'll begin to understand the logic behind it.
    You'll spend over a hundred hours playing the game and only scratch the surface of what it has to offer, and players will still be learning and discovering new things about the game.

    The story is a true work of art, one of the most impressive I've ever seen in a video game. It contains so many moral dilemmas and is so complex, realistic, and interesting that it would be impossible to adequately convey it's essence in a typical review. This game has some of the most extensive and enjoyable customization options I've ever seen; you can have skin and change the color of almost everything. Everything can be customized to your preferences and tastes.

    And now for the best part: this game is completely free. Yes, you heard me correctly, so make no excuses and give it a shot. There's a chance this is THE game you've been looking for.    … Expand

    PROS
    1.) THE GAMEPLAY : EASY TO LEARN, HARD TO MASTER.

    The missions in this game have simple objectives like killing enemies and defending objectives, which anyone with a couple of hours can get a grasp on. But the difficulty will ramps up as you progress. So after playing for a while, you will discover movements option like bullet-jumping, aim gliding, and sliding. Which can be used to create strategies. There will also be upgrades that you will encounter like Mods, Companion, Buff, and Arcane. So the system gets pretty complicated and thus hard to master.

    2.) THE STORY : COMPLEX AND EVOLVING.

    Most of the story of WARFRAME is not given directly to the player via the main quest. But rather hidden details scattered across the game. The main quest only tells you what the gist of the story is about but if you want to truly understand the WARFRAME universe, you have to make theories and connection on your own. And there is no right or wrong theory because the story is still going after 9 years since the game launches.

    3.) THE GRAPHICS : BEAUTIFUL WITH GOOD PERFORMANCE.

    The visuals in this game is just phenomenal, not just because it is beautiful but also how the developer really pay attention to details. My favorite place in this game is Fortuna, a small Corpus colony located on the cold surface of Venus. The place is full of futuristic lights and robot which directly represents the Corpus faction as a whole. The best part of the graphics is that it only requires a mid-end GPU to run.
    I am currently using a 1050 TI for my graphics card and I can easily play on the highest settings with smooth 60 frames per second.

    4.) THE COMMUNITY : KIND AND WHOLESOME

    This game by far has the most kind and welcoming community I have ever witness. Most of the interaction I have with other players are really good. To prove my point, you could literally go into the game and ask any question inside the regional chat and I guarantee you that someone will answer you within 20 seconds. Toxicity in this game is very uncommon, In my time of playing I’ve only met 2 or 3 toxic player.

    5.) THE MONETIZATION : REALLY FREE TO PLAY.
    With every free to play game, comes microtransaction. This is no exception to WARFRAME. However premium currency in this game can be earned by simply trading items with other player. For me I have earned over 20$ worth of platinum by just flipping in-game items. So no one is really at a disadvantage in this game in my opinion.

    CONS
    1.) FEATURE CREEP : TOO MANY THINGS TO DO

    The updates to this game usually adds more content to the game, which is not necessary a bad thing. But after a while these content piles up to the point that there are just so much to do. These new content sometimes completely make old feature obsolete but the developer doesn’t realize this and kept adding new things without clearing the pile.

    2.) GRINDY : REPETITIVE MISSIONS

    The gameplay of this game can be repetitive after sometimes which makes the game boring. Lately, the developer also likes to lock new content behind a “grind wall” which basically means that in order to get to experience these new contents, you would have to spend lots of time doing the same thing. This can be a big no no for most casual player.

    If you like action RPG game with huge amounts of content and don’t mind the steep learning curve, you should give this game a try. But If you don’t want to grind and spend time learning different concept of the game then you should look for another game. Overall, a solid 8/10.    … Expand

    This is a fantastic game only but it does face many issues most of which affect its new players most. This is due to the games deep systems and mechanics which can be very daunting on sight and even as a player with two hundred plus hours it takes a lot to learn all the systems. This can result in new players quickly being overwhelmed and leaving the game. BUT once you begin to delve deeper learning the systems the game has so many possibilities which allows for many hours to be put into the game while still enjoying it. This point is only furthered by the constant support from the game by the developers which always has a flow of new content.

    Of course you cant forget the games main mechanics its combat and movement. The combat in the game feels very smooth allowing you slaughter hundreds of enemies at a time while not remaining to easy as the games stronger enemies the spawn on occasion still can prove to be a challenge. The melee combat is very fast and a bit jerky, personally i enjoy this because you can still tear through many enemies. Many of the melee weapons also have alternate actions such as being thrown or shields. Movement is an outstanding mechanic in this game and I could go as far to say it is the most fun mechanic in the game. The game allows for many modes of movement but primarily movement in your warframe allows for large leaps and spins as well as wall jumps. These leaps and such allow for you to gain momentum and hold it which feels great as you zoom through the levels and the landscapes of the open world areas.

    Another positive about this game is you can continue to play through the entirety of the game with no cost. But the option to pay for premium currency is always there if you wish to speed up the gameplay or buy other cosmetics although these microtransactions can be quite expensive. I feel they have implemented this system very well as I have never felt pressured to spend money but rather have wanted because I enjoy the games elements.

    This is all complimented by the games great style of graphics. Most of the time the games graphics have a bleak moody feel which fits the missions in the game incredibly well on most planets. This also is the catalyst for contrasting warframes against the environment as players are able to customize their colours.

    Overall this game is fantastic although daunting and is great to sink the occasional hours in or even better to play often and especially with friends. If you don't mind games where you have to grind hard to progress further but with a feeling of satisfaction after each step forward this game could be for you.    … Expand

    I have poured more than 1,500 hours into this game (more than 2,700 if you ask the steam library) and only recently have I started to get this feeling that I'm running out of things to do, and the devs are still working on expanding it (they had a serious of bad hiccoughs in 2019, but they are slowly returning to their former selves, it seems)
    I think those numbers speak for themselves.

    Very simple PVE base game. I have already played for a 1600hrs and still love to play it. It's really easy to understand, has a nice stories, improving game time by time, and you will have so many items to collect. I have played 1600 hours and still haven't got all items, because some of them comes with the events which comes once a year.     For someone that enjoys GRINDING, the game is a huge fun, with minimal pay to win and lots of different warframes, weapons, high replay value. It is getting updated on regular basis and often adds interesting content. The story is dog water and really cheap. It's definitely worth a try for its amazing gameplay.

The game doesn't do much to help to truly learn it's many systems and will likely require additional research which isn't the most friendly to new players. Great game overall.

Unfortunately, there is a very high entry threshold which means a lot of people will just opt out (which is a pity).     The game has a premium "money" called Platinum. You can ofc buy it in the shop for some $, but the real kicker is that it's tradable - you can exchange the things that you grinded for 3hours on Sunday evening for some Platinum and get yourself some warframe skins.

    I'm a free2play and through trading I got over 70k platinum (equivalent of 3500$) and spent it on different sh*t&giggles. Yes, if you want to have more than 4 warframes in your arsenal you have to spend 20platinum on extra slot, so you're encouraged to trade with others in order to get it. It's a really clever system, because the whole market is self balancing - even though I didn't spend a penny, someone had to buy the 70k platinum that I used, someone used their rl money on the game.

    To summarize:
    - game is great, but not if you despise repetitive farming

Progression is confusing but streamlined with several "main" objectives of as planetary relays and main storyline mission, which opens up new aspects of the game. Speeding through the process can burn days or weeks. Which brings in the mastery system albeit the grind, mastery rank.

    Mastery exp is gained from ranking up new weapons/frames/pets/sentinels/planetary progress etc. Mastery rank from 0 to 10 should be quite fast just from the planetary/relay progression alone, but there comes the free-to-play slower, slots for weapons/frames, premium currency platinum. Community can help you with that, but to earn that premium currency through free-to-play one must know little bit of trading and have mastery rank of 2 or more (daily trades determined by ones mastery). Almost everything in this game is craftable or possible to get from relics (randomized treasure which are awarded from playing the game), not to mention biweekly trader baro that brings its own wares of salt and exotic wares..

    So you made past mastery rank 10? Congratulations, at this point you should have access to most of the content, but it has still more to give. This is but the start. but just enough.

    I recommend an ideal game to play and chill with your friends. The controls in the game are a bit difficult, but it gets very easy when you get used to it.

The game also incentives reviving each other with a hard to get achievement based on it. Community isn't perfect as you have those players who always have something to complain about your favorite piece of equipment.     You can earn EVERYTHING for free. The game allows people to trade easy to get items for premium currency which allows you to get anything you want. You will need to be familiar with the second party website warframe market so I can't say the game is 10 out of 10. Warframe market is easy to use though so not much of a problem. Most (not all) will type "thank you" or "have a nice day" after you complete the trade.

    The game has a progression system that isn't crazy hard. When you hit a wall its VERY easy to find out how to hurdle it with help from the community. The wiki is kept up-to-date so you'll be able to find out how to get that gear you need quickly. I've even sometimes been gifted a piece from people who are just being nice. Since then I've gifted a few pieces to several other players. People are nice in this game.

    The depth of the game is an enormous cavern to explore but not required. You can make your own weapons with your perfect stats or what is cool to you, modding for every item, and every item can be made to work. If you think a weapon that's not very good is cool, you can beat almost all content with it if you put in the time. They balance items in a great way, too! There are mods you equip to a weapon that buff it more for items used less. It allows for them to make large changes quickly and keep things fair and balanced.

    The quests are fun and engaging and get more and more rewarding/epic as you get farther in the game. The only hard part is that there aren't many people who run the early levels of the game so it can be hard to get into the community as quickly as really social gamers want.

    I recommend giving it a try. Give it a day or two of playing as the first hour doesn't really capture a lot of the fun you can have as you progress. It would be nice if they made the early game more thematic of what is to come.

    Many old review that are negative aren't updated with the updates this game has received. You can run along walls, go to vast dynamic open world areas, work as a team on a star ship, reworked level designs, AI fixes and more. The game does get buggy with every big patch but the team always makes sure to include comedic and fun responses in the comments as the hot fixes are deployed so its not all bad.

    Just make sure you're ready to play a free to play game. Don't go spending real money to get all the gear right from the start. It is way too expensive. The gear it gives you is more than good enough to get you to and earn you the gear you're imaging.    … Expand

    I played Warframe over 2.000 hours over Steam and my MR was 15!

    After so many hours of game-play i saw alot of good things but alot of bad things and my rating for Warframe is a solid 8 of 10. Big negatives for me was: - Bad story-missions that was not balanced correctly where you die way to much as the player and some Story-missions (which you bought with the in-game resources)    I played Warframe over 2.000 hours over Steam and my MR was 15!

    Big negatives for me was:
    - Bad story-missions that was not balanced correctly where you die way to much as the player and some Story-missions (which you bought with the in-game resources) have ridiculous timers where your mission can fail at all.

    - NPC's can kill you under 1 second although you are invisible!(Loki Prime with Hushed Invisibility mod)

    - Hunting/Catching animals in Orb Vallis or in Plains of Eidolon is a complete disappointment because you are getting 90% of your time disturbed by enemy NPC's.

    Big positives:
    - A free 2 play game.
    - Opening relicts to sell Platinum or to get your Prime things to build.
    - A big choice of weapons to build and many mods to equipt.
    - Free content

Сюжет тут больше для галочки,но даже его проработали лучше чем в многих играх,постоянная интрига,да,чего стоит только история цефалона (проявляется если сканировать фрагменты цефалона и искать на пейзажах или фотках и курсором навестись на определённое место). Да, второе название игры "фармфрейм" Но это нормально для подобного жанра,и фармНе пожалел для этой игры 700 часов своей жизни. Лазеры,кунаи,луки,пп,автоматы,КУЧУ видов ближки,к примеру больше всего понравился Костацист как ближка в плане разнообразия,и много всего видов оружия в целом.И как говорил чел в одном видео об оптимизации "Когда нибудь я найду чела который оптимизировал варфрейм и заставлю его опимизировать все игры))",и я с ним согласен ведь до обновления пк игра шла на низких 60 фпс с GT 730,на 1050 ти 60 фпс на высоких в 1080р,короче хорошая оптимизация темболее графика также хорошая и немного странно было видеть с старой видеокартой видеть такую графику.Также ещё допишу о геймплее.Сами "варфреймы" разнообразны,одни также для фарма,одни для босса,одни просто для саппорта и постоянно добавляют новых что делает игру более разнообразной.Теперь о мелких,но приятных деталях: там мало токсиков,за 700 часов встретил максимум 5 :).Покупать тебе что-то за реальные деньги не нужно и никто не заствляет,на всё вполне легко можно накопить самому если постаратся,а если уж совсем лень то можно покуть или продавать другим игрокам свой товар за другой товар или за платную валюту которой является Платина,а если у тебя прокачанна харизма и при рождении вкачал навык "торговля" (в реальной жизни :) То можно и сэкономить неплохие деньги. Итог: игра 10 из 10,и сюжет и оптимизация,и разнообразие варфреймов и оружий,готов заплатить за игру) А стоп,так она ж бесплатна)… Expand

    Лучшая игра в которую я играл. На выходе игра была сырая, механик было мало, носейчас в ней большое количество контента. Игра регулярно обновляется. Часто приходят ивенты с наградами. Данатную валюту можно получить без складывания денег ведь можно торговаться с игроками. Хорошая кастомизации персонажей и увлекательный геймплей.Лучшая игра в которую я играл.     Warframe is the perfect example of free to play done right! You can earn everything ingame or trade it with other players, the only difference is: If you want something free (like a new primeframe) , you have to grind a few hours .... if you want it right now with one click, you can pay for it.

    The only downside of this game is the lack of endgame, sure there is always some grind or fashion frame but no real meaningful cause to bring the Tenno together and give them a goal.

    For me this game is 8.5 / 10 ... rounded up to 9 / 10.

    Best game iv played in my life. Grindy? no, its just full of content, i have spent over 11,000 hours in Warframe, and im still having fun. The only downside is the new-player experience. Once the new player experience is boosted up, i can then give it the 10/10 it deserves.

    This is the best free game i have ever seen. Interesting and unpredictable plot and very deep lore, good gameplay, VERY big number of primary, secondary and cold weapon and your warframes with different abilities, good graphics and its own style. And the main plus of this game - its not pay-to-win junkyard, you can gain almost all things with your own work. Very recommend not to quit thisThis is the best free game i have ever seen.     This is one of the most Immersive games I’ve every played, the graphics are incredible, and the game has also been released on switch, so you can take it on the go 10 out of 10, triple a game.

    I will skip all the details, I will just say it wasn't perfect on release but they reached perfection after a couple of years and somehow kept it. It's what happens when lead designer and a producer both have a Vision. They're not pandering to the playerbase. They're creating their    MMO-looter-shooter done right.

    I played a lot of games especially the online ones, this is my top 1 favorite f2p game, VERY optimised, VERY-VERY-VERY-VERY-VERY Good and lovely friendly developers, Good community (Mostly positive, you'll always get the help you need), Good graphics.
    The Story is the best f2p story you'd find right now

Я так сильно скучаю по самому комьюнити игры, просто потому, что это люди с которыми приятно играть, приятно развлекаться и проводить время, туда хочется возвращаться просто из-за отношения, простого и заботливого отношения к тем, кто играет. Игра стремительно развивается до сих пор и метит на большие масштабы, постоянно расширяясь и раскрываясь для игроков. Мир в этой игре, это то, во что хочется провалиться, это то, за что хочется держаться и знать об этом больше.

    It's really a shame to see that the Critic Reviews for this game are almost all from 2013 or 2014 and reference problems that no longer exist. This game has changed radically just in the last couple of years.     It's also a shame to see negative reviews with low scores from people who played the game for a few days and get mad about the prices of Warframes on the plat store. First of all, earning those things is half of the content of the game. Second, the running price of PRIME Warframes, which you buy from other players, is often less than half of the cost of the market console Warframes you buy from the plat store. Even Loki Prime, which is currently vaulted (which means the relics its parts drop from are not in the drop table right now) will run you about 260 platinum. For comparison, normal Warframes on the market console run upward of 375 platinum. Now compare both of those figures to Mesa Prime, whose relics are still in rotation and comes in at a price of 60 platinum. So, again, just don't buy Warframes from the market console. Go trade with people that make listings here via in-game PM instead: https://warframe.market

    The game is full of savage violence and high speed murder but in the long term it is not a game for short attention spans. Progress is measured in days, weeks, and even months in Nightwave's case. Long term you're going to be doing similar things pretty often but the joy is in working toward what you want, getting it, and then enjoying it once you've got it. If you buy everything with plat you'll not only be wasting a lot of money but also skipping out on the content itself. Don't make that mistake.

    So, full disclosure, the stat screen on my profile says I have 1074 hours in this game. Maybe that makes me blind to the plight of the new player, but I doubt it. When I started playing it was in Closed Beta and there was 1 whole map tileset for every single level: Corpus Ship. Every single planet and every single map was the same boxy ship interior. Now we've got two open world maps, nearly a dozen tilesets several of which are unique to specific planets, and a bunch of narrative quests and minigames top all that off. If you ask me the game's better and easier to get into than ever.    … Expand

    The only rivals are pretty much Destiny and Anthem. These games are basically about the same thing - shooting lots of stuff, get better guns, shoot more stuff. Warframe executes it perfectly.     And of course, all of this crazy amount of content is totally free. "Not very low" price tags of both Desnity (where every expansion cost like the base game) and Anthem make the free-to-play model of Warframe even more appealing. It is a fair model, too. The premium currency can totally be achieved by playing, and using it to buy weapons is sometimes much less efficient than crafting them.
    The game barely has technical problems. Optimization is there, the game doesn't look horrible even on the lowest settings. Plus it only takes 30 GB on your hard drive vs 90 GB for Destiny and 50 GB for Anthem.
    All in all, it is a game everyone should try out. It is so immersive anyone can try to find something to love about it.    … Expand

    Best of the best. Great gunplay, great abilities, customizable in every way, amazing lore, impressive graphics and skins. The biggest downside is that the new player experience doesn't leave you with much direction, and the best missions that contribute to the lore and the player's understanding of the world don't come until much later on.     The devs has stuck with the game for quite some time now, and they actually just released an update to the melee system just now. Also the game HAS ITS OWN CURRENCY CIRCULATION, you can buy in game money (plat) but you can get it for free, which i address in the "addressing neg reviews" part
    It's quite daunting at first though, you will have to be a pretty good researcher, which I thought was stupid until I was a full straight week playing the game alt-tabing between wiki and the game like a freaking god. It's pretty fun for me, can't say how it will be to you but give it try, i know I was suprised.

    I really hope people give it more time and actually understand the game. A lot of the negative reviews seem (not sure though) to only be at early game and not actually experiencing the entirety of the game. Frankly, they don't understand it. They say that the currency is crap. You buy $20 of real money to get platinum or plat which is worth a "cheap warframe" and not worth it. Here's the thing, YOU CAN GET PLAT WITHOUT PAYING A DIME, once you understand how it works. One, NEVER buy warframes, or anything really in the in-game store. Where then you ask? You buy them from other players using plat, which you get by selling parts. That is the beauty of the game's currency, they get circulated around the players, it doesn't just disappear. You farm parts which isn't that long, then go to chat and sell of those parts for plat. PEOPLE BUYS THEM. Which gives you platinum to buy from other players. This game is completely free to play, since you can get the buyable currency from other players. Two, the "grind" to get desired warframe or weapon isn't as long as it seems, as there's two ways to get it. The first being the obvious, you farm the necessary parts and build it, which does take a while depending on the warframe/weapon since your farming specifics. The second is a lot faster; you still farm but not necessarily towards the thing you want. Farm any prime parts instead, then sell the items you get and not want through the marketplace and get plat. Then buy the parts, also from other people. I wanted to get this out there because people see the prices and compare it to real money, "ohh it cost $1000 bucks for one single mod?" Yes you can do that if your an idiot or want to support the devs, or you can play the game (Which really is one of the best looter shooter there is to date: 2019) and sell the parts you don't want, they buy the things you do.    … Expand

    This extremely complex game manages to accomplish many things games of the same genre can't, despite being free. Combining fluid gameplay, decent lore and a flexible progression system Warframe is definitely a must play.

    don't listen to these bad reviews, the game is great, could use a bit of fixes but it don't matter bcs you will get too concentrated on playing that will mostly ignore minor visual bugs or animations, the game is completely FREE TO PLAY, but has a bit of "Pay to play", no no no wait, lemme explain,to Build a warframe it takes 3 days, it costs 50 platinum ("paid" currency) yeah you coulddon't listen to these bad reviews, the game is great, could use a bit of fixes but it don't matter bcs you will get too concentrated on playing that will mostly ignore minor visual bugs or animations, the game is completely FREE TO PLAY, but has a bit of "Pay to play", no no no wait, lemme explain,to Build a warframe it takes 3 days, it costs 50 platinum ("paid" currency) yeah you could pay for these platinum, but there's a Market run by players, where they sell and buy things (by things i mean: Prime parts,Mods,unique crystals and fishes,rare pet imprints, ship parts, syndicate weapons,mods,archguns-archmelees parts etc)with platinum, and these prime parts drops from "Void relics" that can also be farmed on any mission (excluding assassination,capture,exterminate etc), yes, that sounds like a lot of grind, but hey, you sold quite the things and got the platinum needed to rush the built of your new warframe.
    play the game, try not to focus on the grind on the beginning of the game, go and talk with people and ask for help, the community of this game is so good that they will help you detailed as possible with everything.    … Expand

    Warframe is a shockingly polished free-to-play action game that boasts great visuals, gameplay, and replay value. Unfortunately, grinding and odd design choices bog down the late-game experience.

    Play Warframe. Play it for more than a few hours, preferably with friends, and keep an open mind into doing some third-party research to straighten out some of these systems. Warframe takes so much of what makes ARPG’s addictive, and rounds it out with more polish and depth than most its competitors on the current games market. If the hooks aren’t deeply embedded by then, maybe something this in-depth isn’t for you.
