Sep 25, 2014I highly recommend this game to everyone. Played this game since it's release. I'm really happy that they have added functionable vehicles in second part. This is great game for all gamers who don't care about graphics.

JakeLDec 26, 2009In the immense world of shooter games, we cannot miss some Vietnam shooter games. In 2005, many of them came out,... but one above all, has a large potential and is a combination of such successful games like Left 4 Dead, Counter-strike, Call of Duty...Despite some "serious" technical problems, it still stays out as one of the bests.

AlanMar 11, 2006Disappointing, hard, slows even on a top spec pc, graphics not great. Loved the 1st version - much better than htis and by now far cheaper. Wait another 6 months and pick this up from ther bargain bin.

Sep 3, 2020I really liked the idea of the first Vietcong PC release. The shooter market was oversaturated by WWII themed games, so the Vietnam war setting was a very fresh and welcome idea. Vietcong 2 sadly fails the standards of its predecessor. While the setting is still cool, the gameplay, graphics and story fail miserably. At least the multiplayer is amusing.

Aug 31, 2023A solid Vietnam war FPS that lacks innovation. But if you are a fan of this genre, you get what you need. Overall rating: 7.4.

Feb 4, 2023Instead of playing that crappy MEN OF VALOR it's better to play this one, much better gameplay, more violence, 2x better graphics , more difficult and fun, of course it's not a perfect game but it's playable.
I've played so many new games that I'm now trying out these old ones and they're not as bad as they seem.

While I would have liked to try the multiplayer, the sparsely populated servers listed didn’t give me much incentive to try a five-disk installation for a third time.

The game play is intense and challenging but is let down by the game engine. It would take a beast of a PC to play with the settings it deserves but most people may find the games engine and difficulty only leads to frustration.

The graphics are dated, the gameplay is buggy, and the online mode is virtually unplayable.
