May 29, 2024Venture to the Vile is both familiar and utterly unique. It’s a twisted Gothic story full of mystery, monsters, and big moral questions. Throw in gorgeous art, killer music, and well-balanced gameplay, and you have one of the best Metroidvanias I’ve played in a while. Just get ready now to get utterly lost in the moody little town of Rainybrook, because it won’t let you go anytime soon.
