Vaporum: Lockdown is a brilliant sequel to the first, quite originally taken dungeon crawler. The atmosphere is stunning, also the plot and the whole "big picture" game design is awesome. All those great game mechanics are back with subtle enhancements and upgrades. Puzzles are challenging, yet still based on logical approach requiring planning and thinking. The game "eats" you whole and doesn't let you go until you finish it. Expand

If Vaporum Lockdown is a good grid base RPG, it falters in others aspect. The puzzle designs are difficult at times, even impossible to logically comprehend. On top of that some walls have to be broke to advance. If some are visually different, the metals one have absolutely no visual difference. the story seems promising. I give it 45%. A nice game doesn't mean it's playable. The puzzlesIf Vaporum Lockdown is a good grid base RPG, it falters in others aspect. A good addition to the series. A solid grid dungeon crawler with enjoyable action and some very tough puzzles. The puzzles at times can be frustrating and illogical but with some patience a doable. Combat is fun and multiple different approached. Nothing revolutionary but still worth checking out.

It’s a decent game but not much more. It has everything a solid dungeon crawler should have, but it is also too derivative and predictable to be truly exciting. [13/2020, p.46]

Very nice oldschool step-by-step dungeon RPG with untraditional steampunk setting and perfect monster design. [Issue#307]

Vaporum: Lockdown is quite an interesting take on Bioshock, with insanely hard puzzles, uninspiring plot, and boring enemy designs. But given how rare the setting is, it's not like you have a lot to choose from.
