It is a led down, as there were many instances which seemed to work well, but then suddenly hiccuped out from small changes and movements. Nevertheless, it was smooth most of the time, but the sudden hiccups with that type of graphics are not acceptable.

    The sound effects are annoying.
When firing the guns, there is not a feeling of excitement. They are over-compressed and makes the game feel boring.

Too many rounds, making the game feel way too elongated.
The first few games were fun but then turned to a chore, which was not as fun. Nor was it helpful with the three sudden AFK's who probably will not face punishment, knowing Riot's somewhat unresponsive support team, which is even more damning for the game.

The playability for what it is is terrible. I could pick up other games with the same graphics, even on a crappy PC and get better results. The games become a chore in the end, and there is no solution to staying players when some of their teammates AFK. The sound effects are plain out awful, and the mastering is all over the place, some are good others are either too loud or over-compressed.
Playability Score: 0/10 - Too Many In-game Problems

    Looks:
The style and overall look of the game are beautiful. The lighting could be better, but as a concept, it is appealing. There is a lot more they can do, and it has the potential to be even better. But in par against other games, Valorant looks like a still in progress game released too early. However, out of everything, it seems good.
Looks Score: 5/10 - Good, But Has Better Potential

    Characters:
I enjoyed the character design. As usual, when it comes to character design, Riot's design team has always been top-notch, and Valorant is no different.
Character Score: 10/10 - Fantastic Character Design

    Creativity:
There is some creativity, but most of it is present in Overwatch. The guns would be impressive, but they are painfully plain, offering zero eye candy. I would rather play Call of Duty or CS with better-looking weapons.
Creativity Score: 0/10 - Any Game Does It Better

    Uniqueness:
The front is extraordinary and is easy to navigate through, and is unique to Valorant. However, I wished the same was correct about the game. The game in uniqueness would be almost a zero if it were not for its somewhat unique graphic design. But it feels as if it was an upgraded version of cs-go in graphics and game style. Nothing about the game stood out as unique or exciting, except for a first-person shooter game that kind of function part, but that is more negative than positive.
Its just a shooter game that does its job, but not even well. It does not stand out from anything, nor is it better, just meh.
Uniqueness Score: 2/10 - Lousy Shooter Game.

    General Note:
As I began downloading the game, I looked for Riot's goals when they made Valorant. Unfortunately, none of the information was available, or at least to my knowledge, making this review harder to write than necessary.
Goals are essential in making a game, and for other people to know what they should look forward to in the game. If laid out, the goals were harder to find and should be made visible.

The accessibility was smooth, no-nonsense, sign in, or make an account, and here is a download button.
An excellent first look is how quickly they give you access to a game. Some games love to put a story first and then give you the download button; it is a waste of time and is discouraging. Riot made the right choice by doing the no-nonsense here is the game; the story can wait until you are interested.

There is a restart requirement in 2020 for an anti-cheat system, which could efficiently work without restarting the PC.
That is something I remembered being used back in 2006 when game coding was not as advanced, yet some still had this without a restart requirement. Valorant should not be required to have this as there are games that do the same thing but without the restart requirement. Even League of Legends has this without the need for restarting, what's different here.

I like the swift point A to point B accessibility when you want to download the game. However, the ridiculous "you need to restart your PC" for an anti-cheat system that should be a part of the primary system is illogical and a waste of time. Many games, including League o

I had big hopes for this game and was truly let down once I got in to the beta and got to playing. It didn't feel polished, it was slow, dull, and far too unbalanced, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt, it was in a beta stage, after all.

I had big hopes for this game and was truly let down once I got in to the beta and got to playing. It didn't feel polished, it was slow, dull, and far too unbalanced, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt, it was in a beta stage, after all.

Now in it's full release, I see very little different with the game. Some balances have been implemented, so some credit have to be given in that regard, but aside from that, some of the few positive things I can say about the game is that the models look pretty good, it's free, has an anti-cheat, the ability to buy guns for your teammates, sell your own guns, etc, were you to change your mind, is REALLY nice, and the hit registration is pretty accurate. Note that these features are mostly already available in a vast amount of free-to-play games.

The gun mechanics are clunky, the spray-patterns are random and thusly removes a wellknown and important skill ceiling in FPS games. There's a way to track your spray, by looking at the barrel of your gun and adjusting your aim according to which direction the end of the barrel is leading to, but that's not very innovative at all.

The map design is truthfully terrible, when they announced the game, they claimed to have experienced people on their team, which unfortunately doesn't show. The maps which are currently in the pool look like something that was made in the early stages of Counter-Strike. (Yes, the mod, not the actual game.)

Abilities of the characters aren't new by any means, they simply repackaged overwatch heroes and added a few more utilities in the mix, such as more flashbangs, smokes and molotovs for map control.

Skins are severely overpriced. Looking at the prices, the game feels like a cheaply made moneygrabbing attempt.

All in all it's not surprising that you heard very little about the game after it's full release, the hype for it died down in it's beta stage, which they did announce quite well. Props to their marketing at the very least.

Characters are interesting but some of their abilities are greater than a few that it makes you NOT want to try out the other. The balance between the characters is widely dispersed and unfair. Certain characters can be more effective than a select few. For instance, gathering intel is great with Sova but that's not effective compare to Reyne's explosive abilities that can cause great damage to multiple players, either doing a good amount of damage or a full kill, or both. The abilities that each character has is unique, but in a competitive aspect, it gives a certain player a higher advantage compared to others. Some character has a projectile that they can use to either smoke an entrance or quickly blind someone and get the jump on them. Now while I do find that great, what I don't like is that you can throw them through walls or around the corner and the projectile initiates instantly. To me, it feels a bit cheap to have the drop on someone without allowing them to have any time to react.

The gameplay feels clunky and heavy to some aspects. Most of the time playing, I feel slow despite having my knife out and the physique that some characters visually has. This also brings back to certain characters taking advantage of that with their abilities, such as Reyne. Reyne can easily punish you by shooting her rocket launcher but no time to react or escape. It feels a bit frustrating, in a competitive aspect, that you barely have any time to move out of harm way simply because the game's movement is clunky by default.

Shooting and tactic all feel like the same in every round. You can aim down your sight with your main weapon. While it's great that you can do so, it feels useless in some sense because the recoil pattern is easily manageable. There's no mix up when it comes to strategy. Most of the time, the strategy that my team usually comes up with is: keep your gun out and go for picks. Not once have we tried to rush an objective or quietly have someone flank behind them as a defender. You can try to rush to a certain bomb site but all it takes is Sage to put up her Donald Trump's ice wall to cancel that strat and then Omen quickly teleporting on-site or behind you without any sort of sound indicator. This game forces the player to play a certain way and if you have any other tactic, you'll lose more following through with it rather than following the norm.

Now for competitive matches, there's just one thing that I dislike and I feel like it can be easily fixable. I don't like the fact that both teams can see the economy of each player for both friendly and opposition. Seeing how much money the enemy has is a huge advantage when you have the upper hand. You can easily see if the enemy is saving for the next round or buy. This intel can alter how one team should be playing whether they chose to be aggressive or passive. I don't like this as it doesn't keep both side guessings whether the enemy is going to buy or not.

Also on a side note, I don't know if it's me but this game seems to crash frequently. Not during matches but when I want to look at something such as the battle pass or cosmetics. My PC is average. I can run COD MW on medium and BFV on high-ultra and still maintain 60 FPS whether I'm in-game or on the main menu. But for some reason, this game crashes. Pretty annoying that I have to exit the application through the task manager and then open Valorant again, which takes 5 minutes to load up too.

Some suggestion that I hope Riot can put into this game. Deathmatch. I want to improve myself and practice with other weapons. I know there's a training mode but I much rather practices with real people than bots.

Overall, this game is pretty disappointing. If you want to be baby spoon in a competitive game then this game is yours. Otherwise, if you want to start off at an equal starting point, want to improve yourself against, play against players in your own skillset, and gradually learn new strategies and tactics, then pick up CSGO.

Quite simply the core of the game is solid and fun to play. But the game itself has so many annoyances and small things that CSGO does better that makes it one of my least enjoyed games of this year. First off, Gameplay. Armor... is useless. The TTK is lower than most other shooters and thus it gives you no time to properly react. Quite simply if you shoot first and well, the other person will die. The reason I came to this conclusion is quite simple. The LMG's are overpowered and melt you within 20 meters. Armor, no armor, doesn't matter, if you don't kill them with the first shot your dead. Secondly, tutorial. Tutorial? You might say. Why are you talking about the tutorial. Well quite simply it tells you what is important but at the same time nothing at all. It teaches you about aim, buying weapons, how to shoot said weapons and how to plant a bomb. What it doesn't teach you is everything else. What gamemodes are there, what is armor? What does armor do? Whats a buy phase? All of these things are never covered so in my first game I got wrecked cause I had no idea I even had to buy armor until I just happened upon it in the buy menu. Thirdly something not often talked about, menu's and controls. The first thing I realized in my first game, theres no in game text chat. "Well yes there is Sicko, just press enter" Oh thank you kind people, good thing I realized that in my third game. When not even the controls tab in the menu had text chat keybinds anywhere. Fourthly something that cannot be forgiven, and something that I can't believe they ever forgot when making this game. Vote to kick, and surrendering. Vote to kick is small and can be easily forgiven but surrendering... is inexcusable. Especially when even the casual gamemode (which is will get to) has 13 rounds to win. Finally gamemodes. WTF IS THIS BS. The casual gamemode has 13 rounds to win? This is casual, Quick in and out gameplay. I don't want to sit through 7 rounds of beating the crap out of the other team and two or three of their players disconnect or vice versa. The 4 Round version is much quicker and I enjoyed that gamemode vastly better than whatever that was. Ultimately this is probably the biggest flaw of the game. 4 round matches with random weapons aren't always as fun as a quick 8 rounds MAX casual game. I either play ten games of the short and have moderate amounts of fun or play one longggggggggggggg game and get pissed.

The Thing is, with a few patches most of these problems can be fixed. And maybe one day they will be. And maybe then I'll come back and rereview it. But until then it can't ignore the numerous problems that it has.

Now what I do not like about this game is that it gets stale very quickly, frustrating so that I find it hard to focus on the gameplay, I also do not like how unbelievably slow-paced this is, lacks any sort of excitement or adrenaline, feels like a team of turtles with abilities fighting each other. Also, I do not like the competitive nature that this game brings, this is just how I feel about this game but once I feel like I have to win no matter what is exactly when a game stops being fun to me. The fact that this game is totally "unathletic" because you have to stand like a bloody statue to kill any player in this game and have to have insane accuracy to just have fun in this game, if you're not good at CSGO you'll probably have a hard time enjoying this game. The guns are so stupid, they feel inconsistent because they put in ranged dmg like max at 5-10 m while its like 2 dmg from 50m away. With the characters, I guess they are alright. But there are so many recycled abilities like there are 7 smoke abilities 3 wall abilities 3 or 4 splash abilities (Like a puddle I guess) and 3 or 4 blinding/close view abilities. The only special characters are raze, omen, reyna, breach, and sage because they all have somewhat unique abilities. the rest are just recycled. Plus the game really is just a mixture of watered down and boring versions of cs;go and overwatch. honestly if I had to give this game a rating it would be like a 6/10? maybe 5/10. Also the graphics are ASS. It's worse than Fortnite and that games has been in development for years until they released it in 2017. The only reason why it is so popular? Because it's new and was made by Riot who hadn't made a game in awhile. Just because it was sponsored by Twitch, makes it popular. If you want an actually good tac shooter, get CS:GO. The rating was generous because there are some good parts, but I focused on the negatives because there are so many. At least they tried their hand at a new game genre.

TL;DR Games alright? play it if you want to die of boredom I guess.

Their 700 creds for an afk player is very funny, basically you end up losing the game because someone decided to leave only getting hit with a few hour ban. smurf accounts are a huge problem, when you are in iron and you have just started the game you expect players of your caliber or slightly above so you can learn more about how to play the game, what happens is, experienced high ranked players would create accounts with an iron rating and those are matched with the inexperienced players and that is completely unfair. weapon recoil is way too stupid, and sometimes damage and hitboxes mess up, i was playing a game as reyna against another reyna, pistol rounds and both of us are with ghosts, now if you buy a ghost you cant buy a shield, so i headshot reyna with -105 damage and she lives and kills me, completely weird. operators are way out of control, some agents are way too strong, for example something that pisses me off is the fact that reyes' bombs are still effective even after she dies, which is stupid if you ask me as she is the only agent with bombs in the game. skins are overpriced even if i decide to whale out i wouldnt spend 200 dollars on some skins. the game is in its infancy but some things need to be addressed if this game would ever succeed.

Characters - From their names to their designs simple and targeted at kids. Sage heals, Brimstone has molatov and nuke, cypher is a tech guy etc.

Sounds - Stereo. In a game that prides itself being called Tactical shooter, you can't differentiate enemy positions at 45% front right or 45% back right. Overall - It's a low system requirement Free to play game aimed at kids. The quality is so bad that charging 10$ upfront would have been overpricing because even games costing that much offer so much more.

Cherry on top - Game's cosmetics are insanely overpriced and shop is some of the most frustrating ones you will ever see. They charge 56US$ for autofill blue guns and there's only 5 of them in the bundle. They making every possible effort to do the minimum work possible and actively **** on their community. Then you get 1 tapped because they had reloaded prior. Not to mention the camping corners pacing is a little too "standy around" for a 30 minute game. Skins are absurdly overpriced. Like spend 80 bucks on a skin pack only to have to buy the vfx seperate... Don't even get me started on vanguard and how it prevents .sys drivers from loading at startup. I find it to be really overhyped even after official release. Expand

I cannot overstate just how bad it can be. Speaking from experience, I have never had a feeling of any sort of constancy in Valorant, to the point where I question if every individual match even takes place on the same underlying code, or if they have some sort of evolving and devolving monster that they cannot control that is making random decisions on the fly. One match it will appear as though none of my shots are capable of missing, others will seem quite fair. Others, some players will seemingly have the magical ability to see me before I even peek. Other matches, it will seem that no matter how well I aim, coming from games where I top frag 20+ kills, every bullet either misses the mark completely or somehow downgrades from head to body, or body to feet.
This lack of consistency is the sole reason I do not even bother touching the competitive part of the game, as I know for a fact that I will never be able to enjoy myself, as there is no feeling of "getting better" its a cycle of do extremely well, feel like I am better, then getting 1-3 kills and 20+ deaths in a 13 rounder the very next game.
It is obvious to see just how inconsistent this is, even though Riot (and many players who seem to just not face these issues) continually claim that the problems either do not exist, or are not bad enough to need fixing. The clearest way I notice the problem is due to my surrender to completion rate for games. 70%+ of my games that are unrated (meaning not spike rush or another shortened mode) end in a surrender, due to my team simply being unable to even touch my opponents team with a bullet.

If this was merely a lack of skill thing, I would have no issue, but I know that is not the case. As I said at the start of my review, I play this game way too much. So much, that I would expect to at least be decent at aiming for heads by this point, but my experience in game either reflects that too heavily, or does not at all. I have seen the same from friends, content creators, and others, who go through the same cycle (get favorable netcode and win, then get the opposite and lose).

It almost never feels like a loss in this game is my fault. Other games similar, such as CS:GO, are equally as difficult if not harder at times; however, the difficulty I feel in that game is consistent. I do not go one match of CS and become a headshot master, and the next a bumbling loser with no aim. I get consistent numbers of kills, do consistent damage, and my headshots connect when I myself feel like I did hit (or vice versa).

I cannot recommend Valorant, unless the netcode is fixed, among the other many issues I did not discuss. Riot can claim there either is no problem, or that they have fixed it as many times as they want; however, until I see evidence of it, I will never recommend it. Will I personally keep playing? Probably. Should you? Absolutely not.

While I am not a fan of the visual style, Riot does offer clean and precise controls for shooting but if you are looking for something more substantial and rewarding their are better options for both casual and hardcore shooters alike. The anticheat was a hot topic issue that I won't get into but at the end of the day seeing people cheating is somewhat common.

Valorant tries to blend the skills and visuals of a more casual hero shooter with the competitiveness and precision of hard core shooters and doesn't really do any aspect of either more than "just okay". It might be the prefect game for some but for many others including myself it doesn't satisfy. It's a wide but shallow pool.

While I played in closed beta and think that some of the development has been fantastic; ultimately this isn't a game I could recommend in good faith at the moment and hopefully somehow this will go into the void. It has more than a few issues with accessibility and also matchmaking within the EU region.

There are some good things about the game:
It runs well, nice art design, developers willing to learn and implement some feedback. Game can be great at it's highest point.

There are also some bad things which are the reason for such a low score:
Abysmal matchmaking, confusing and dull menu UI, limited configuration options for both video and keybinding.

    >Abysmal matchmaking
Matchmaking in the EU region right now and I'd say the game's borderline unplayable, every game there are 4 people with no microphones because they're Russian and Riot games will not allow them to communicate in any way. This makes the game a dull and lifeless experience and extremely stressful. There's also still issues surrounding players getting put into stacked games with one team on a 5 stack, a 4 stack and you. You'll face silence again because they're all in discord or party chat. Not a fun experience.

    >Confusing and dull menu UI
    >limited configuration options for both video and keybinding
The menu is straight up dull and it feels like you're looking at a block of text. It's laid out poorly which doesn't help when:
The config options for video and keybinds are poor, they're limited, keybinds are on a separate page from other control options, minimap size options are on a separate page from crosshair etc. It's a straight up mess.
Add in the change from beta to launch on Omen and the game is in desperate need of per agent binds and settings. They're simply not fit for people with accessibility issues.

Overall the game just isn't fit for purpose on EU. It's a team game, even the welcome screen to the game shows a focus on teamwork but it's absent while you can have 4 people in a game that cannot communicate. It goes against the spirit of the game and you shouldn't have to abandon matches or sit through games like that. It just isn't an enjoyable experience.
The alternative is to play on North American servers if you can, you'll take the PING hit, you'll lose every duel where someone peeks or you have to peek and you'll probably face some abuse for it while you communicate.

That shouldn't have to be the way the game is played. In EU, this game just isn't right at the moment.

    **Not trolling, serious review.

Valorant is just.. to put it simply, not worth your time.

    (Apex Masters - Ranked player)

I'm quite experienced with FPS games, having played CS:GO, Overwatch, Apex, PUBG, Warzone, and many more games, I can safely say, Valorant has nothing new or exciting to offer.

(I got a key for the beta)

Valorant, rips off CS:GO's base mechanics and just copy and paste's a lot from CS:GO and offers little to no new content at all. The game may be fun for some, but I guess it's just not for me.

My biggest issue with CS:GO and Valorant is the pacing- incredibly slow, tedious, unfun, and there just isn't anything to get so excited around. I really cannot see how people view this as a competitive game, when there are many better games which require so many more fast-paced movements and actions. I don't want to hold shift to walk quietly all the time- i want to 1v6 2 teams, with incredible movement which gets my heart rate going.

Having loved the abilities and how fun they are in both OW and Apex, the abilities in Valorant are utterly uncreative and lazily thought of, some inspired from OW or even, surprisingly Apex which I don't mind, but again- nothing fresh.

The movement is also horrible, Source engine had really good movement which is why Bunny hopping was excellent in Cs, and Apex which also uses the same, yet modified engine. RDR2 which has arguably the worst movement in any game to save realism has better movement than Valorant's.

Don't even get me started on the graphics... the art directions, it's so awful, I've seen better character design in Raid: Shadow Legends and many more mobile games than this. If you even dare to defend it with: "Valorant is a competitive game" then clearly you're blind. It's not that Valorant needs to look overly complicated but PLEASING to look at. WOW! Generic female #151 here with a couple of floating knives.

Worst of all, is Vanguard is actual trash. Not only does it breach your security, and has full kernel access (which also is owned by tencent- potential security issues) it doesn't even do a good job AT ALL. Literally the massive controversy with Apex cheaters right now is much better than this anarchial game. I got a game with cheaters 3X IN A ROW.

What I really expected was a fine, and tuned game but this was a great disappointment. What really is the issue here is not that Valorant is bad- but SKY-HIGH WAY too overhyped.

I will stick to Apex's BRILLIANT movement system, and Warzone's tactical gameplay.

This is a worse version of Counter Strike. In CS, being in any position in any of the maps is fun and makes you feel good. In Valorant, the maps are garbage and don't feel fun to be on. Expected much more from this game, and I was extremely hyped for it. Unfortunately, it didn't meet any of my expectations. I will admit the game runs smooth, but that's expected from a game with mobile graphics. This game was so bad that it relied on artificial, fake, and manufactured twitch drops hype to even get popular. Literally no other popular fps game has done that to get popular. They get popular by actually being good; not by piggybacking off the success and viewership of twitch stars. Absolutely pathetic for this. Expand

When the game was a announced they bragged about several things, bringing mappers with fps experience, crisp gunplay, heroes with unique abilities, and a top of the line anti cheat.

Maps- The weakest element of Valorant. They all need to have a "gimmick" which makes potentially solid maps like Ascent complete garbage with the door blocking paths. 3 bombsites? Can't hold on defense. Also, releasing with only 4 maps? This is the full release not early access.

Gunplay- The best part of Valorant. Coming from CSGO the guns felt familiar and crisp. No major complaints, but the poor map design makes fights awkward and feels like the maps hold back the gunplay.

Heroes- Some feel balanced like Phoenix and Brimstone with a solid role in a team, then others like Sage are blatantly overpowered and a must pick. There are so many abilities with so much going on that it detracts from the gunplay and tactical fps feel they are going for. Really puts me off to be killed by a flying rocket launcher and one of the main reasons I won't play much more of the game.

Anti-Cheat- Laughably poor, actually probably worse than the maps. Can't do its job as there are hackers everywhere and the fact that it is kernel level just adds to the disappointment. If I am going to allow that much access from a program it needs to do its job well. Vanguard doesn't do it.

Verdict- Underwhelming, I'm going back to CSGO and Rainbow Six

It's clear they were trying to force their way into the market with a subpar product marketed to be the next big thing. What an incredible disappointment. The biggest issue with this game and developer is that they are owned by Chinese government sponsored company Tencent which is more than enough reason on it's own for me to never touch this game again. It should be a huge red flag that all the streamers they paid to hype up their game no longer give a **** about it and are now trash talking it.

TL;DR: Tons of cheaters, boring. slow and uninspired gameplay, invasive privacy concerns, Chinese owned and government sponsored. AVOID THIS GAME!

Most of the time, abilities feel like they matter way more than actual gunplay, unlike csgo, abilities replace grenades and some heal the agent themselves, which can pretty much completely ruin a gunfight, where they can just hide and heal to full health. When I played it personally, the sounds you make are way too loud, like stomping while running, which makes no sense, considering that footsteps are supposed to be given attention, but it seems that since it's louder, they can hear it far more easily. Weapon scoping barely helps, and snipers are basically useless, there's almost no reason to use them unless you want a 1.2x zoom. or an innacurate sniper that doesn't work at any range but long. What's suspicious about the anti cheat is that when deleted, the taskbar is still there, not sure if it's just me. Having an root kit installed is pretty risky considering someone could just use the anti cheat to do their exploits. I know it's for removing cheaters, but the anti cheat has already been bypassed, like many others, buying a normal license for an anti cheat like battleye or easy anti cheat, would be better since well, they work well, while not hurting your reputation as a games company. I just find it hard to believe that they even NEED zero ring access. In conclusion, valorant seems like a bad game with so many issues with its abilities and gameplay, where some agents are far more preferred than the others based on abilities alone. Where skill only really matters for abilities, and where they need to be in the core of your computer to work. Expand

As long as CS Go exists there's no real reason to play this game, its a poor attempt at a copy with laggy and clunky movement and gun play and graphics that look like something out of a free to play mobile game. The map design is also extremely simple, they all use the same gray, brown and beige colors and if you've played one then you've played them all.

They copied the defusal game-mode of CSGO and the abilities of Overwatch, and the result is bad. They nerfed the good gun mechanics of CSGO of having a specific spray pattern that always works, allowing for wondrous pro plays, making it a pattern that gets increasingly random, which lowers the skill ceiling a game like CSGO has. It also copies the AWP, pronounced OP by people, by having the operation, OP for short. However, instead of making it an agressive, clutch gun like in CSGO, it is a gun that simply works for holding angles and for the frustrating practice called "cod camping." For pete's sake, even both guns have a double scope zoom mechanic, they are the same core thing! The game also has abilities, which give people wall-hacks, making the game less skill based, and less fun for people in the receiving end of the ability, as nobody likes to get killed by someone who had an unfair advantage over them by knowing their exact location at a certain point. So, to sum this up, riot games created a game that copies and nerfs CSGO's guns, making it frustrating as there are points where the guns limit the potential of players, and it adds abilities that result in people dying in frustrating ways, making the game a bad copy of CSGO. Also, I need to add that the maps are terrible. They were made in collaboration with Volcano, the maker of the great CS map Cache, but instead of being great like the predecessor, the maps are messes of hallways and camping corners. They will never be iconic like Dust2, or mirage, and the game's young state is not an excuse, dust 2 and mirage were made extremely close to the release of the game and were WILDLY better than the messes we have now. Also the inability to use stretched resolutions is ludicrous and all I hear when I play is "it is over, you are dead!" shouted at me loudly every round. All in all, I hope the game fails for the crime it is doing, copying CSGO completely, while giving the game a gimmick, not an ORIGINAL spin. Being honest, the people that like the game for the shooting mechanics should not give Riot credit, as they have completely stolen it from Valve. Expand

Valorant has a high-quality and clean release without any problems. The game will definitely please fans of the competitive FPS genre. The eSports potential of the shooter has only become established over time, and the first tournaments are already planned. However, a high entry threshold requires serious skill training. But this only makes the game more interesting.

Overall, Valorant is a great game to play if you're a fan of first-person shooter strategy games. But it is also something that someone without experience with games like CS:GO can enjoy and pick up quickly. The Agents are, for the most part, balanced, and the planned addition of more should keep the game fresh. The overall style doesn't really land and the sound design needs to be fixed.
