As far as fighting games go this should be good; if you can get past the asinine controller configuration, let alone the way the menu works to begin with.

As a non-expert in fighting games, UMVC3 is exactly what I wanted: a double roster of characters that I know and I like, and the mechanics and speed of intense fights. The specific possibilities offered by the teams of 3 characters are a bit overwhelming for beginners (especially since there is no tutorial), but reading guides and advice on the internet helps. Only problem (as of 2019): itAs a non-expert in fighting games, UMVC3 is exactly what I wanted: a double roster of characters that I know and I like, and the mechanics and speed of intense fights. Hem oynanış hem karakterleriyle bu oyunu çok iyi bir dövüş oyunu haline getiriyor zaten. Daha bir dövüş oyunundan ne beklersin ki?

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3’s rerelease is appreciated, but feels somewhat lazy. There’s no balance fixes, no netcode improvements, and no attempt to add in legacy controller functionality to be seen, making the game, essentially, the exact same as it was the day it was snatched away in 2013. But that doesn’t make it a bad game. UMvC3 is easily one of my favourite fighting games with its huge and varied cast of characters, frenetic pacing to the battles and a decent spread of single-player modes. If you’re able to play locally with a buddy, or heck, if there’s a local competitive scene where you live, this is a game you’ll definitely want to pick up.

There has never been a fighting game like this one before, and judging by Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, there probably never will. This port of UMvC3 will not be remembered as simply the PC version of the game, it will go down as the definitive version. UMvC3 has stood the test of time and then some. Going back to the game after all this time makes me forget why I ever stopped playing it. Priced at £20/$25, it’s one of the best deals you can get for a fighting game of this calibre. With mods already appearing and the Marvel community appearing to be rejuvenated as a result of the re-release, there isn’t a better time to pick up this game.

Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 runs fine but the lack of a true player base online makes it hard to enjoy a game which is so bare bone single player wise.
