Jul 1, 2016Lets face it, this is a game for super-nerds that like trains and computer games. People like me. So, the development team that thought that this kind of **** would be well received in that market is clearly **** delusional. **** 'em. This is bollocks, go catch the omsi bus instead.

Mar 28, 2016I have train simulator a few years. I still waiting for a route that goes from Bosten-new haven-new York Penn (grand central terminal) to Philadelphia and Washington I had three routes, three times New York penn.
Its all pieces of a route that i want. its absurd, that I have every time must pay, for a part of a route, that never comes. -
Sep 25, 2016This game could be great, unfortunately Train Simulator is completely lacking in any creativity, flair, atmosphere or immersion, so it ultimately amounts to a very boring experience.
Every route feels barren, what scenery there is looks shoddy, the missions are dull, the sound design is poor and for £30 there is a severe lack of content. Very disappointing. -
Sep 3, 2021This game is very fun when you get into it but there is a bit of a learning curve, this game/simulator is meant for people who are already rail fans but might also be fun to people who have a neutral opinion on trains

Jan 13, 2016So if you have a very powerful gaming rig, and you’re craving a train simulator, would I recommend Train Simulator 2016? No. No, I do not. It’s too light on content for a $45 game, and I don’t support the developer’s ludicrous paid DLC scheme. Which is a real shame, because the physics are great and, if you can run it in high or ultra high graphics, it can look quite beautiful.

CD-ActionJan 12, 2016The developers failed to deliver on their promise to move the game to Unreal Engine 4 and therefore once again the visuals are at most passable. What’s more important though is that Train Simulator is still, well, the best train simulator. [13/2015, p.59]
