    Fantastic and entertaining trade simulation. The many periods of history where you can play make all the difference, that make the game all new everytime you play.

    One of the best trading simulations, non-economic simulation, I've ever played. Unusual periods, many trade goods, each scenario with other difficulties make the game absolutely varied. Highly recommended. Easy to learn, hard to master.

    UI not so great, otherwise fabulous trade simulation. Interesting scenarios with lots of replayability value. Wish to see a modern remake (with higher budget).

    Fans of city building titles will truly enjoy Trade Empires, and it will even woo some dissenters of the genre with its inventive take upon historical civilizations. However, unimpressive graphics and a lack of configurable options or a storyline hold it back from being a true gem.
