Dec 2, 2024Towers of Aghasba offers an intriguing world where you have to create the ecosystems and balance them. This leads to fantastical creatures and new materials. As you have to recreate and build the old cities, it’s all about restoring the world. Sadly, the game is full of bugs and is missing a lot of Quality of Life features. However, with updates and refinement, the game has the potential to evolve into a solid RPG-survival experience. [Early Access Score = 40]

Nov 19, 2024Exploration is a joy thanks to gorgeous visuals and a varied landscape. So too is the eco-friendly job of returning the land to fertility, even if the incredible trailer scenes are not actually what you'll be playing for tens of hours. The heavy emphasis on crafting and perishable tools isn't fun, but the devs' roadmap looks promising and the rewards are certainly there if you persevere. [Early Access Review]

Nov 26, 2024Towers of Aghasba initially made an impression with its striking art style and approach, yet its inherent design and mechanics are frustratingly flawed. It may look radically different in the coming years, but for now, it's difficult to get into. [Early Access Score = 40]

Nov 21, 2024While the many technical shortcomings currently affecting Towers of Aghasba make the ride difficult to enjoy, there is no doubt that the game is full of potential in terms of exploration that will flourish further once the Dreamlit studio patches its game properly. Glider jumps, climbing, customizing a world with pretty biomes inspired by Ghibli universes are still too marred for the time being by a series of bugs, interminable loading times (sometimes more than five minutes) and painful slowdowns. [Early Access Score = 60]

Nov 25, 2024Towers of Aghasba is an approachable gateway into the genre that doesn’t hold back on features while introducing some quirks of its own. Its mystical setting is also deeply alluring, inviting you to unearth ancient secrets while restoring life to Aghasba’s derelict landscape. [Early Access Review]

Nov 19, 2024Despite these quirks, I’m confident Towers of Aghasba will improve during Early Access. The game’s creative vision, rich world-building, and innovative mechanics have the potential to make it extraordinary. With continued refinement, I believe it will deliver an unforgettable experience. Whether building, restoring the land, or exploring, Towers of Aghasba offers a rich, engaging experience that is well worth your attention. [Early Access Review]
