    Dull reskin. Lost my love for CA. Political activism in a historical title took the shine off and now every DLC is just a reskin.

    A nice visual addition to the game. The models and mechanics are an interesting (and needed) addition to the base game.
    Having said this, for £15 you would expect nothing less. Better than a lot of the other DLC's available, it is still by no means a must buy.

    Visually impressive but moderately underpowered compared to most other factions in the game.

    Pros.:
    - versatility;
    - beautiful story and lore; - the final battle brings back old memories of Dark Omen; - different unique buildings, building planning; - diplomacy; - difficulty (for someone it is a minus). Cons.: - again as before - the AI cheats and usually throws units where you are the weakest; - it is hard to build the economy and have a strong army at the same time;

    - stupid auto-battle AI. Even when my battles had little chance to win, I won when I fought myself;
    - the game becomes boring till the end. Everything is explored and other nations act predictably weird.

    From the seas comes the undead hordes of the Vampire Coast. Prepare yourself to either resist or bring the terrors of the oceans ashore as the sea-faring zombie pirates. From shambling musket-wielding warriors to shipwrecks reanimated into towering artillery pieces, you are sure to get your fix of piracy and destruction.

    The greatest omission is in fact to be found in the absence of naval battles, which have been replaced by clashes on the islands: a solution that, in any case, does not satisfy.

    Curse of the Vampire Coast rides a wave of momentum, fully fleshing out the Great Ocean of Total War: Warhammer II. Exploration and treasures abound in the DLC, and is a treat for newcomers and long-time fans alike.
