    I don't think anything fairer than a note 10! There are many small details that could be better. Regardless, I have a lot of fun trying new lords and different ways to play. I highly recommend! At first, you get lost with so much information, but soon you get used to it and want more! Of the total wars I've played, I believe it's the best in interface, difficulty and story.

    Great game, maybe best historical piece of total war since medieval 2 are getting bit outdated. Great graphics, great story driven campaigns almost on all factions. Hero mechanics is just awesome. I just hope CA takes best features of this game on to their future total wars.

    Después de unas 150 horas jugadas en el modo Campaña habiendo probado diferentes facciones puedo decir que a mi parecer es el mejor Total War y más completo. Está todo tan bien señalado, explicado y claro, que cualquier jugador novel podría atreverse a jugar sin apenas dificultad. Como novedad para este juego, han implementado la gestión de tus tropas con tener 3 generales y mi gusto,Después de unas 150 horas jugadas en el modo Campaña habiendo probado diferentes facciones puedo decir que a mi parecer es el mejor Total War y más completo. Está todo tan bien señalado, explicado y claro, que cualquier jugador novel podría atreverse a jugar sin apenas dificultad. Como novedad para este juego, han implementado la gestión de tus tropas con tener 3 generales y mi gusto, mecánica nueva es una pasada!!!!. Las batallas son las mas épicas que he visto, los escenarios están muy elaborados, las unidades se ven muy bien.

    Una gran mejora que se va notando con los años y con cada Total War es la Inteligencia Artificial del Juego, que en este juego me parece brillante, tanto en el modo campaña como cualquier batalla. Las alianzas por fin se ven que si sirven y mucho. Creo que es completo a todo sentido y espero que los futuros juegos de esta compañía vayan por este camino. Ya como mejora, aunque los Dlcs son estupendos, me hubiera gustado que en cada Dlc hubiera más facciones jugables, pero por todo lo demás, este juego es el Rey de los Juegos.    … Expand

    Capcom has really done it with this amazing masterpiece and have gained themselves the title of King of Remakes!! This game is absolutely what I could've asked for. It has got RE4's view that actually fits perfectly! This game is a must play for everybody!!!

    A pretty good modern version of Total War, I heard bad things about the generals being OP but honestly not really, sometimes the AI is kinda dumb but it's total war what do you expect.

    A game of my childhood dream. The interface and diploma system are better than any other total war games by far. It's very time consuming though, as it meant to be, great job CA!

    Original, very beautiful game design. Please draw characters in this spirit for other parts of the series.

    A very elaborate and interesting system for pumping the personal qualities of characters. Items. Diplomacy. All at the highest level!

    One of the best games in the series!

    Very nice visually, good AI, interesting development of technologies. I usually play those games mostly for strategic play on main map, but in this Total War title i have enjoyed battles very much. It is really polished

    If you are not racist against China, you should play this game. The gameplay of collecting hero characters, the epic battles, and the lore of Ancient China is far more deserving than a 7.8 score

    발전이 없는 모 회사의 삼국지에 비하면 정말 고퀄리티의 삼국지게임이여서 좋았다.
    다만 전투가 너무 박진감이 없었다. 스타크래프트처럼 실시간으로 컨트롤 하는 플레이를 기대했는데 조작감이 상당히 아쉬웠다. 맵구현이나 내정,외교시스템은 정말 훌륭했다

    And that's just a short review, not all parts of the film, and it's just a summary.
    The gameplay is much more attractive than the previous version.
    But the main reason for its weakness is its extremely long loading. So you can have lunch behind the loading at the beginning of this game.

    This game is, without doubt, the best of the whole Total War series. As a matter of fact, it's one of the best strategy games there is, period. An exquisite mix of real-time battles, turn-based strategy, diplomacy, alliances, family tree, and heroes. That game is simple to play but can get super hyper deep if you want to beat normal and harder modes. Playing in normal difficulty is already a good challenge for newcomers, and it goes up to Legendary for real battle masterminds. It delivers great gameplay, great storytelling, follows the real 3K story while taking some liberty that is also very much welcome. The only downside is that you will get addicted, big time. It took me some time to explain the wifey how educational and important playing this game was. Top 5 ever for me, right up there with AOE2, BFME 2, SWGB and Starcraft 2 (and Rome Total War).… Expand

    Very in depth turn based strategy. The core concepts of building and specializing your cities (commanderies) will be familiar to Civ 4/5 players after about 10 - 15 hours, after which you'll probably want to restart from making so many early errors.

    Steep learning curve, immensely immersive, character management can take quite a bit of time towards the late game, but it's all about how much you want to optimize vs. hitting that next turn button. You'll be fine if you don't agonize in the details of character gear and talents, but it can be a definitive factor in how your faction runs.

    Overall, I'd rate this higher than Civ 4 or 5 for those willing to invest the time to learn. The largw number of starting campaign situations(leaders) can provide hundreds of hours of different playstyles and diplomatic scenarios.

    Recommend a more modern GPU to render the large scale army battles (which there will be many). The level of detail of watching units collide at close up, launch fire arrows or treb. shots, is amazing and worth the effort of learning this game.

    Final edit. If you care about "finishing" a campaign, consider it will take you a hundred hours to do if you take your time with your decision making. Not exaggerating.    … Expand

    There’s a definite focus shift from tactics to strategy – which is risky, considering that tactical combat had always been a staple of Total War series. It couldn’t be avoided, though: unlike Medieval and Rome settings, China simply lacks variety in troops types. So fights end up being very predictable – while Chinese politic field is anything but! [Issue#239, p.48]

    The Total War series finally takes on land wars in Asia with this latest installment, bringing its signature RTS/TBS hybrid gameplay to the Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Series veterans will find a lot to love about this new iteration, and fans of the source material will find this a great jumping on point.
