    Very fun game, brings back memories of old versions. Soundtrack is also 10/10. Highly recommended, if you like old old Tony Hawk games.

    Very good remake, i'm still very confused why they called it a "remaster" when it's clearly not. Maybe they thought word "remake" sounds bad, but i disagree. Video Game remakes are usually always better than just remasters, even tho there are some good remasters like Alan Wake. Either way, this is in fact a Remake, not Remaster. They literally re-made original games from ground-up. Anyway,Very good remake, i'm still very confused why they called it a "remaster" when it's clearly not.     A super smooth and excellent remake. The original challenges will be pretty easy to beat, but they've added hundreds of additional challenges to keep you entertained for a while. It's just nice to go back in time with some excellent graphics and gameplay. Total home run.

    This is how the remake was supposed to be. It was a little upset that the game was released exclusively for the epic game store and requires a constant connection to the Internet.
    It's very impressively fascinating :)

    I bought this game and played it for roughly 30 hours the first week it came out and loved every second of it. I don't care much for the multiplayer in this game, so I've just been sticking to the single player doing all the ridiculous challenges. But why a 3? DRM...     The Tony Hawk game I've been craving for years. Beautiful new graphics with the classic fluid gameplay and some new great QoL improvements make this game is an absolute blast! Tons of offline replay-ability and haven't even touched the online or park creator yet. Thank you so much Vicarious Visions for your hard work!

    This has to be one of the worst remakes I've seen to this day. Lazy and with less content than the originals (customization and park creator can't compare with previous THPS titles) and to top it all always-online requirement. Seriously, always online requirement on a remake? Of a single-player game?

    Naming this THPS is an insult to the originals.

    Es asombroso estar nuevamente en el mundo del skate, justo como los años dorados. Es un gran juego con espectacular nivel gráfico, jugabilidad clásica y lo mejor de todo... ¡las canciones originales! También cabe destacar que las nuevas canciones son muy buenas. Nostalgia pura y bien hecha.

Apparently, it's all-time Epic Game Store exclusive which makes it impossible for me to play it on my platform which is pure bullcrap because I do not want to support that platform and company.

    -Only one user profile / save game.
    -Game progression only once regardless of which skater you choose.
    -Button combinations don't register as quick as original.
    -Always online/internet required to play single player.

    PS1 Original game:
    +As many save games as your memory card can store
    +Separate game progression for each skater

    I was gonna buy this game until I saw the Online Requirement. Nah son. Take that ish out of your game. It's insulting to gamers. Also, Epic Games Store really needs features like reviews, switch pro controller support, and more. I'll wait for a switch port or see if the always online requirement is the same for Steam

    Holding on to what I am Pretending I'm a superman... Pretending is a good word, as even after spending quite some time with this game, I still have no idea what I'm doing.     Pretending is a good word, as even after spending quite some time with this game, I still have no idea what I'm doing.     Subtracting half a point from the score because there is a lot to do in this game, but nothing really got me interested for a longer time - it could use some innovations in the career mode.

    This game is using DRM which only works WITH A PERMANENT INTERNET CONNECTION.

    Why is literally nobody talking about this? This is a reason to boycott ANY game.

    This is everything I expected it to be and more... The gameplay is pretty much as perfect as it could get for being a Tony Hawk game. The graphics are phenomenal and PC performance is fantastic. I'm running max settings at 4k and over 60fps on a 1080 ti. Vicarious Visions did a great job at keeping it true to the original games while adding a ton of extra unlockables and a great musicThis is everything I expected it to be and more... The gameplay is pretty much as perfect as it could get for being a Tony Hawk game. The graphics are phenomenal and PC performance is fantastic. This game truly has a little something for everybody in terms of customization, music, and options to assist new players. They've also added a very extensive create a park mode with online functionality to upload and share your creations with others. My only complaint is the lack of face customization on the create a character. But with the amount of apparel and equipment customization it kind of cancels it out. If you are a fan of the originals this is a must have. And for any newcomers curious about what gaming in the 90's was like, you won't be disappointed. The core experience is better than it has ever been for the entire Tony Hawk franchise. I hope they choose to remake some of the newer ones like 3,4 and the underground series. Because I will gladly play those again in all the remastered glory that Vicarious Visions is capable of providing.… Expand

    The online DRM is what ruins this game for me. Plus Epic exclusivity, this is a good game but I can't recommend it especially if you have a weak connection.

    Probably the best remake I've ever played. I'm really glad that they've chosen a conservative path for this game. You can really tell that they have tried their best to improve graphics and gameplay while keeping old vibes alive. Let alone the awesome soundtrack!

    From a technical point of view, the game runs really, really smooth, features great visuals and sound-design.

    Absolutely beautiful game. Its awesome to unlock the next skate park and that nostalgia u get when u remember them all. Visuals look great, music selection is great. Characters are highly customizable including ur boards, Its a must have for $40.

Pro Skater 1+2 is a beautiful remake/ reimagining of the original two games, with updated levels, skaters and soundtrack.
    The best Create-a-Skater in any skating game to this day!(apart from THUG1&2    Twenty-something years later and this franchise still has it! The arcady yet complex gameplay, with multiple different combinations for pulling of incredible tricks, has not aged one bit.     The controls are tight, the pacing is fast and it doesn't suffer from the same issues the old remake had. Most of the original soundtrack is back, with a    Excellent remake of the originals, there's a few convoluted things added in the background, like challenges that unlock boards and what have you, but at least it isn't paid cosmetics, the core game is just as good as it was in 1999!

    The controls are tight, the pacing is fast and it doesn't suffer from the same issues the old remake had. Most of the original soundtrack is back, with a few nice additions, plus a few I don't like but you can toggle those off in the menu.

    The blood spatter is gone when you stack, plus they have bleeped curse words in the music. Come on guys, i'm 36, make this an optional thing in game. So -1 point.

    The other drawback to this game is it's an "exclusive title" to epic games... Meaning I now have yet another game launcher installed with 1 title in it's library, while my steam account sits with 259. A bit frustrating because it's just more bloated crap to install, i'm dropping it another point for that.    … Expand

    A game that does everything you would expect at a high level but doesn't have much replayability. I went into this not knowing what to expect and it delivered on the skating front. Animations look superb and gameplay is buttery smooth. My only problems with the game are as follows:
    No casual online game modes, I can't believe there's no online free skate

    This is without doubt the best skating game on PC. I have Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD on the PC and it's nowhere near this good. There is no set goal on Skater XL or Sessions, it's boring. They nailed pretty much everything. Multiplayer still needs some love but I'm sure that will come. For right after release this is as good as it gets.     The only thing the game have in common with skateboarding is the inclusion of a few pro skaters.. and skateboards that take the role of the stampeding RC-car.

    Half of the tricks looks like crap still.. not sure if they used the old ones to get the retro feel, or if they are just incompetent.
    Yes I finished the game enough to get to use the idiot Jack Black.. and by that time I already felt quite finished with the game.
    The soundtrack haven't aged well either i had to turn every damn song off after hearing them all.

    If I got value for the money? Maybe.. as I spent quite some time trying to find what used to be fun.. but didn't find it.    … Expand

    It's perfect. It's simply perfect. The only possible improvement would have been the inclusion of THPS3, which i'm hoping we get as DLC. I'd pay full price for it!

    A very worthy remake of the first two games in the series, absolutely love it. It can be seen that the team put not only their energy into the project, but also their soul. Many thanks to the VV team for the work done and the child's emotions during the game. I wish you guys the greatest luck and look forward to new remakes of the series, or better, its continuation.

    Hits you right in the nostalgia bone correctly... but doesn't do much more after that. I bought this game to play online but the only people that play online now are those that can hit 10million combos, making it very hard as a casual. After beating both 1 & 2 i'm satisfied with the gameplay but i dont see myself playing it anymore until i get nostalgic about it again in 5 years+

Love the addition of the manual to THPS1 levels, and including of some current skaters. The soundtrack is great, the new stuff fits nicely with the original tracks. Hats off to Vicarious Visions, and I hope we'll see the third one remastered as well. IPerfect remaster. As a vet of the series - this game feels perfect.     After some missteps in later incarnations, the remaster of THPS 1+2 returns the game to its strong roots, providing the addictive mixture of challenge and fun that will keep people coming back to shred for a long time.

    It is pretty clear to me that Activision wanted to make the purest remaster that they could while still bringing the quality of life changes that everyone deserved in 2020. In my personal opinion, this is the best title of the year, especially with the fact that I can play it at a constant 60FPS with my 2700x and 2080 and it is as smooth as butter. There are fast load times and even smoother bail transitions which allow you to get right back into the action faster.
