Well, to be fair, that was mine first Visul Novel game and I have mixed feelings about it. On one hand TNLT has interesting topic with some really nice art style. Story and dialogues were getting more and more intense while we "clicked" through scenes even if sometimes there were too much text blocks for some situation (mostly lots of thoughts of our protagonist). We got here many emotions; funny, sad and silly moments from Kai and Chris(tine).
On the other hand the player could've been more involved in making decisions or doing something else than just clicking and reading texts in the same scheme. Also story could had more mystery and development of other characters with their subplots, because now that's just a "Three Teenagers's Drama Simulator".
Although TNLT isn't really a memorable experience, I think there is potential in Zetsubou's VN style, maybe it just need some tuning to be more engaging.…Full Review »
