    It's a thinking man's shooter. Twitch FPS players look elsewhere. This game is all tactics and I love it. The ones griping about it play instant gratification FPS titles like COD which gets old almost immediately. I won't go on about the details inside the game because I'd rather people discover it for themselves, but if you like hardcore teamwork games, this is high up that tree. I'd suggest you join a clan because pubbing alone is not a viable option. Other than that, it gets a 9/10. I love everything about it, but if it had more maps, it would have a solid 10.     Finally FPS which requires usage of brain unlike some retarded CoD or one of the million CoD clones.
    Awesome maps, destructible environment, great weapons, unlocks etc. GOTY material.

There are so many little and large issues that I can't recommend anyone to buy it at the moment. It's a REALLY fun game, when it works.     Also, f**k ubisoft. You get around 300 renown/match, and you usually don't even get any XP or Renown from matches, due to a really annoying bug, and the ops (characters) start at 500, going up in increments of 500 up to around 2500 (I think.) It takes absolutely forever to unlock all 20 ops at this rate.

    Anyways, the gameplay is great. If they fixed the netcode, and the annoying little bugs, I'm sure it could be a contender for CS:GO.    … Expand

Tom always wanted his name to represent quality and that is why Rainbow Six was always known as a special forces simulator. Every time I played it since childhood I had a blast.     -The is probably the biggest disappointment of the year for me and probably any fan of the franchise. No single player?! What? Rainbow six always had an amazing single player experience, multiplayer was just an addition. This is by far the biggest negative the game has.

    -The game plays like a mix of call of duty and battlefield, this is not a good thing because Rainbow six was always unique in it's own style. It was the arma or flashpoint of special forces. Not a generic shooter.

    -The AI is stupid. I haven't seen such useless AI in years, I didn't even think it was possible for developers take so many steps backwards in coding the AI, but rainbow six siege just proves it.
    At one moment I was on one side of the room looking at an open door, I see an AI run up and hide beside the door entrance with his arm sticking out in my view. I just pistol his arm till he died. Then a second AI ran up and I did the same.

    -The game is a borefest. Like I said it feels like a generic shooter mixed with call of duty. I already played black ops 3 and it was crap, why would I want to play another call of duty type game this year.

    -Absolutely no incentive to work as a team. In Rainbow six it was a blast working as a team.

    -The levels are boring. Anyone remember Rainbox six vegas? It looked amazing at the time, the attention to detail was phenomenal. Remember looking out the window from the casino beyond the city scape and seeing little cars driving on the road in the distance? Well In siege you won't find that. The maps are boring and bland.

    -Destructibility is nothing new, just generally under utilized by game developers because they are lazy. Anyone remember red faction?

    -The rifle and pistol sounds, very unrealistic. As someone who has spent a lot of time at the range I can tell you this game actually has worse sounds than call of duty.

    All in all, I feel bad that Tom Clancy's name is smeared in this trash game. Please don't buy this just to show them we want a real rainbow six game and not call of duty.    … Expand

    Thank you, the Nazi company ubisoft, for removing all games from Russia and the subsequent removal of biographies of operatives from Russia. I am sure that you will do something bad with them. In any case, the game has stagnated and is stagnating. I would not recommend you to play it.

    Its still ok but it was better before and you can clearly see that they are having hard times balancing the operators. They have slowed down content so there isn't much to look forward to anymore. The maps are for the most part really bad. Game can be fun with a full squad of friends

    Old, outdated game from 2015. It's fun to play, if you can ignore the sweaty community and hackers. And if you can camp and hold a corner for 5 minutes without falling asleep or thinking about what you are doing with your life, then you're good.

    Vegas 2 compared to this is like a real game... this is just another under-developed, cookie-cutter rip off.

    Want casual challenges? Even your Lone Wolf is timed 10 to 15 minutes. lol Rush it.

    I WANT to play this... but I'm never inclined. It's work to play it. It's willpower to stay with it.

    It's just a gank fest with spray and pray.

    So many replays are hilarious... especially how inaccurate someone was shooting at you and somehow knocking you out in some random hit.

    Sometimes you'll just die... for no reason. Then you view the replay, and someone runs out from a corner and kills you.. but this was not visible on your screen AT ALL. lol No lag either... Who the hell knows.

    That's the other thing... hacked to death. Hacks hacks hacks. Location always known and being shot through walls. You can tell because people run EXACTLY to those points immediately. You can see plenty of examples on Youtube.

    The idea and the game are amazing. BUT.
    There are f.cking tons of bugs. U are not able to play, because 3/10 games you play, game throws you away from the server, all the server can get 1000 ping (not overstating), finaly, u can simply get stucked outside of the map.

    I would not play this game it is currently a buggy mess I can't even run the game without crashes bugs and hackers Ubisoft customer service does a terrible job and barely ever fixes the bugs. example; I had A bug that stopped me from playing the game and I had to delete and reinstall the game.

Selection of players works like this: you do lot's of kills every match - you will get dumb teammates, you do nothing in matches - your teammates are S1mples. I'm **** making team with 3 my good guys and 2 random mentally retarded teammates destroy all match?

    I started playing this game in late 2016 which is about a year after its release. I was having lots of fun since I was playing a five stack with friends and we tried to approach each round like a true tactical shooter. I quickly realised that this game is nowhere near a tactical shooter and is basically COD on steroids but with worse hit register, gunplay and insane peekers advantage.I started playing this game in late 2016 which is about a year after its release. I quickly realised that this game is nowhere near a tactical shooter and is basically COD on steroids but with worse hit register, gunplay and insane peekers advantage. Referring to the gunplay, bad players are rewarded because of the instant kill headshot mechanic. I've lost count of how many times I have died because someone couldn't control their spray and randomly shot my head. At the same time very good aimers are rewarded with this mechanic, it allows them to dominate the opponents by one-shotting them with any weapon.
    Secondly the desync between game clients and servers is simply ridiculous for a fast paced, competitive first person shooter. If you've never played this game, prepare to be shot at when the enemy hasn't even peeked at you yet on your screen. Also remember that even though you shot your opponent at least 5 times and have seen blood splatter all over the floor, it doesn't mean he has been hit at least once.
    It's been 6 years since the release of this game and I still feel like it's in beta stage. Every time a new update comes out some things get fixed, but more importantly more things get broken, more bugs, game breaking glitches. In 2019 I noticed this game does not want to have a future so I quit playing until about a month ago. I came back to this game only to find out that nothing has been done to the most critical issues. And now the cheaters: the game runs a battleye anticheat which is hardly doing anything. I've seen multiple cheaters at gold-platinum as well as at diamond-champion.
    The game is in a very bad state, players are leaving, pros are coming over to valorant and Ubisoft decided to move most of their dev team to the new extraction game instead of fixing siege. If the most popular siege content creators leave for any new games then I can officially call it dead.
    If only Ubisoft decided to stick to the original tactical shooter feel of the game and not the "cod on steroids with lots of microtransactions and pixel peeks" it would've been so much better. Well it's too late for it now, I've wasted around a 1000 hours fighting the game and not my opponents.    … Expand

    I played this game almost 1.5k hours (my last rank is diamond, before the rank update) and still broken. Bugs, server problems, toxic and racist player are everywhere in this game. I do not recommend this game as hell.

    The game is more frustrating than fun to play. There are cheaters and smurfs ruining game lobbies. Idk how their garbage matchmaking system works but they really need to rework it.

    Save yourself from pain, dont buy this game. Let it die just like overwatch.
