    I wasn't even planning to play this game. Then I gave the open beta a shot and I was hooked. Such an interesting multiplayer - constant mind games, constantly tricking the opponent. This isn't a call of duty zerg rush to win game, this is a tactical shooter that encourages teamwork. Really amazing graphics and sound.

    This is an amazing game with elements where CSS was not able to achieve. Current CSGO is very poor vs dynamics and tactics from R6: Siege. I highly recommend R6: Siege. Every new DLC with operators brings new tactics and new style of the game in general

    One of the best FPs on the market, the only skilled shooter left that is deeply enjoyable after DICE turned the Battlefield Franchise into a "pew pew", kids skill level, COD wannabie. R6 Siege is so Enjoyable and worth every penny.. Grab the Season pass if you like looking good on the battlefield !

    Wonderful game, not quite as good as teh first few Rainbow games, but MUCH better than the last few crappy ones (Lockdown and Vegas1/2). Oh yeah and the audio and soundtrack are very well done!

    The gameplay is top notch, destruction is fantastic addition and the unique cahracter classes are all very well done.     10 rating because this game is fun as hell and I love so much about it. But also because someone needs to throw 10s in here to balance out the ridiculous 0s that make no sense. I would give this game a 9.3 if that means anything to you haha.     This game is the realistic tactical shooter i've been waiting for. No map, all based on listening (awesome). A bullet in the head means you're dead no matter what gun ("boom headshot"). Game borrows a lot from what is great about Counter Strike (amazing compliment for a new shooter). Just run and gone, you're dead. Every step needs to be thought out and planned with your team. I am not a fan of games that don't come with story modes, but the multiplayer is just that damn good you don't need it. The way it is set up for awesome infiltration and defensive maneuvers that create these awesome action pact one of kind experiences with your friends. You really find yourself saying "damn that was so sweet" *hits share button on ps4*. Every class has a meaningful perk. Every perk has a counter perk. So many maps that have usually 3 different points of where the action happens so depending on where the bomb or the hostage is each map has 3 different experiences alone. Then on top of that, depending on how people play the game changes again. It's crazy how different it is every time. In other games a map loads and you know exactly what you are going to do. Run left look down that hallway, shoot because people usually run there. Then go to the next spot where the spawn point is..... none of that here. Each time a map loads you have no idea what you'll do until you collect intel and talk with your team to figure out the best way to attack based on the Rainbow Six members you'd decided to spawn as. I just can't say enough about this game. The only multiplayer i've enjoyed over the years is The Last of Us and many games that have come out have just let me down. Metal Gear. Battlefront. Destiny. But Rainbow Six has finally brought a Counter Strike type of game to console.

    "no single player" - not worth giving the game a 0. multiplayer creates awesome scenarios that are difficult and more realistic that no AI could give you in a story. i always support games giving you a story for the sweet movie scenes and the opportunities for cool events of gameplay. but for the first time ever, i am ok with no story.

    "game plays like a mix of call of duty and battlefield": not true. call of duty is fast paced and people are jet packing everywhere and you get shot from behind every two seconds. Battlefield takes you 30 minutes to get into a spot to shoot your gun or find out where the hell the battle is going on. Rainbow Six is on a different level.

    "The AI is stupid"- that's true, the random side modes you do, the AI is pretty dumb as nails. Depending on the difficulty. I don't know what difficulty that person was playing on.

    "game is a bore fest generic shooter"- just plain wrong. no further comments

    "absolutely no incentive to work as a team" - this person needs 4 friends. i played all the old rainbow six games and this one demands way more teamwork in multiplayer than the last ones

    "bad hit detection" - haven't had a problem with this. kill cams show weird things sometimes

    "stupid balanced shotgun" - one of the shotguns is mad strong but it seems like they reduced the range since the beta. i used a pump action at short range and had to hit them twice, other times at mid range it is once. really depends where the bullets end up.

    "can't create classes between operators" - i like how the guns are broken out between the classes. it gives it a thought out balance based on that operators perk. but i can see why someone would get frustrated with this.

    "no 3rd person duck and cover" - so happy they got rid of that. it is not realistic which is what this game is going for. if i put my back to a hallway wall i wouldn't be able to see down the whole damn hallway without the other person seeing me. if this game had that no one would be able to infiltrate anywhere. Yes, it was fun in the old games, no, would not work here at all and thank goodness it is not in this game.

    This game took me by surprise. This is definitely my most played game of December by far. Everything else right now just seems boring by comparison. It even pulled me away from Fallout 4 somehow. I won't go into all the details of why it's so addicting, but I will say you should play with at least one friend.     not like cod or battle this game is close to reallty
    if you like hardcore teamwork games, this is high up that tree. I'd suggest you join a clan because pubbing alone is not a viable option

    Reminds me of my young ages when i was playing competitive 5v5 on cs 1.6. Finally something to give me the same feel. Great game, didn't have any problems with it in the first two days. Connecting everytime, no renown bug which i encountered only in the beta. Overall an extremely good game

    Why this game amazing? All is easy - nobody made very good tactical shooter before. BF for childrens, this game for normal people

    Best FPS shooter for the past 5 years. This is a great example of how a game should be made. Creative and interesting, it has tensed and incredibly enjoyable and satisfying gameplay. I strongly suggest this game to you.

    I am not a shooter fan anymore. I played shooter in the times of Battlefield 1942/Vietnam/2. I dont like the modern shooters, but i like this game. I tell u why: This game brings back tactical gameplay to the shooters. U dont dont to be an aim god like in CS, but u have to understand the game.     The game itself is a lot of fun. A tactical shooter with a lot of excitement, however as long as the server issues continue this is not worth a buy. A multiplayer only game without stable servers is a logical no-go. Do not buy this until the servers are stabilized! Also I do not understand how a game can be in alpha and beta for almost a year and after a month into launch still suffersThe game itself is a lot of fun.     This is a 5 vs 5 game which involves 2 sides Attackers v Defenders. Rock, Paper, Guns, Bombs and Special Abilities Operator's have a various weapons + a Special Ability. Gameplay last 4 minutes. The Attackers storm the building or plane by whatever means they can. Maybe abseiling in    Rainbow Six Siege for the PC is the best First Person Shooter, I've ever played, period!

    This is a 5 vs 5 game which involves 2 sides Attackers v Defenders.

    Rock, Paper, Guns, Bombs and Special Abilities

    Operator's have a various weapons + a Special Ability.

    Gameplay last 4 minutes. The Attackers storm the building or plane by whatever means they can. Maybe abseiling in through windows or roof tops and breaking in doors or blowing holes in walls.

    Defenders it is a tense time waiting. Sometimes you all might just be in one fortified room undiscovered by the remote drones of the Counter-Terrorist Law Enforcement but with the knowledge it is inevitable that you will be found.

    The tension and suspense are heightened knowing that this is a no respawn game, it's do or die.

    The game is played with the first team to win 3 rounds are the victors. If you start on Attack the first round the next round you will be defence and so on. But if the game reaches 2-2 then a Overtime round is played but this time a coin is flipped to see which team defends and which team attack. By this time both teams get to know each other a bit, tactics, if there is teamwork going on, what kind of Operators the enemy is likely to use plus how good players may be.

    It's a game of cat and mouse, tactical, skilful and cunning, with a touch of tiny bit luck thrown in. 4 mins can seem like a long time in this game. Then action might erupt and it could be all over in a minute or it could be a series of engagements. It could be a big engagement at the beginning followed by a lull in the middle of the game and a stealthy tense ending. The game could be sniping at each other in CQB (Close Quarter Combat) for the entire game. I also noted players bating each other into traps and ambushes. Players using little tricks they have learned to get an advantage or the drop on the enemy, first shot can be crucial and can be the advantage to getting the kill. If someone sees you and you don't see them, your dead 90% of the time.

    Gunfights

    This game has the best gunfights in any shooting game I've played period! This is the first real game where cover feels like a real life situation. You could be hanging upside down like spiderman abseiling down a building shooting in a window from the top when people expect you to shoot from the bottom. Drop down shoot or throw grenade or flash bang or break a barricade or plant a charge or a special weapon.

    Bullets whizzing past ping off surfaces, you may even get hit by a bullet or two, if you get hit in the head it's game over for you. The gun play seems so real, once you get someone in your sight they can easy be dead. But the game has body armour, it varies from Operator to Operator or if you get given extra body armour by a team mate. Body armour can enable you to take a bullet or two maybe 3 or 4 even I'd say about 5 at max and you're dead. The game feels so life like that I could take three people out rushing me with a single clip of an automatic weapon. The gunfights are so intense it's like the wild west in game. I can't even begin to put it into words just how exhilarating this game can be. The gameplay is perfect, 10 out of 10 for that. Well balanced, great mechanics built around a fantastic concept. It don't get better than this. I think the programming team have reached their pinnacle.

    Certain games come round not very often maybe once a decade that set the bar and are groundbreaking. This game is not so much groundbreaking, it is a number of the best ideas from games it the past put together in a perfect package that sets the bar in gameplay.

    Gameplay, gameplay, gameplay, tactics and fun, that's what this game is about.

    The environments are mainly destructible and feel very real, for a game it's really quite amazing.

    The game has built in voice comms and people do communicate with each other more than any other game I've played, when you play with random's. I should imagine playing with friends takes this game up another level and this will be a brilliant e-sports game.

    Atmosphere & Maps

    The game's map are great and varied. You get 11 map from Airplane's to Hell's Angels motorcycle clubs like something out of “The Sons of Anarchy”. When in the Hells Angels club you have rock music blaring out the duke box. Most of the time though there is a eerie silence that is only broken by footsteps, voices or gunfire or explosions. It's all very tense and believable. The 11 maps have different places to place booms and hostages and can change from game to game, room to room, making the game have variety and the maps have more than one play style. With no two games feeling the same.

    From the controls to gun play to game design to atmosphere, this game hits all the right notes.

    For me, the game does all the right things. It might not be the return of Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear, and it might have more than a few bugs to iron out before it's competition ready, but it's exactly what I expected -- competitive SWAT 4 -- and Ubisoft keep saying the right things about their post-release plans. Only time will tell though.

    GD brilliant multiplayer shooter. This is gaming at it's finest.

    If it wasn't for Siege I'd be preaching in the streets, "Don't buy Ubisoft! They're ruining games with mass-assembled nonsense!"

    But Siege is just perfect. This is what competitive gaming is all about.

    Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is a completely tactical first person shooter that requires patience, carefulness, and some brain matter. I have never enjoyed a multiplayer shooter as much as I enjoyed Rainbow Six Siege with its immersive and heart-pumping methodical combat mechanic.

    The game is totally worth purchasing provided that ubisoft do support this game for a long amount of period rather than just leaving it and pushing Seige 2 in our throats. By long term i mean like the devs are supporting dota, CS, BF4, GTA Online.
    Keep adding content and keep it fresh add new maps and new modes. To get rid of whining related to single player campaign add it too as a addon please. KEEP IT ALIVE!    … Expand

    situations mode is amazing & it's the 1st thing u may want to do first
    terrorist hunt is even better
    the multiplayer is amazing too
    the only thing i have problem with is terrorist hunt being online only :/ , i hope they add offline option to it

    One of the best FPS shooters of this year. It is a little slow paced and requires you to think before doing anything. A little service crashes happen sometimes, but still it will e resolved in near future

    I started playing in the Open Beta. I was hooked. I normally don't buy games, this one I actually ended up buying. The game offers so many moments you can remember the next day, clutch saves, lucky snipes and the lot. You feel like you're actually doing something, instead of mindlessly shooting everything that moves.

    The game feels very balanced, and the developers are actually listening to the community. They have laid out a roadmap of what's to come in 2016, new operators, new maps and it's going to be completely free. Coming from a LoL player that is still playing because of how competitive the game is, I feel like this is going to be in similar fashion.

    Some people I see are whining about how you have to unlock Operators and all that, which is absolute **** There are 20 operators in the game. After doing the tutorials and situations, which are singleplayer content, I ended up with 7800 Renown. Which allows me to unlock 2 Operators from each of the 5 CTU'S for a total of 10. So with about 2.5 hours of playtime, I unlocked half of the Operators. I think that is beyond fair, in fact I'm quite shocked. I feel like I am at no disadvantage whatsoever.

    The game feels great. You can get it for 30$ and in my honest opinion, that's a good deal. I can't wait to get back into it.    … Expand

    It's very intense and strategic, you have thousands ways to attack or defend which make this game very fun to play. Comunication is everything and all operators are very balanced with their specials skills.

    I think it's the best Multiplayer FPS in this year. It give us so high quality tension during playing this game. Recently,also, the problem of matchmaking is perfectly fixed so I can focus on playing it.

    Great game. It requires ultra-fast reaction, weapon-handling skill and brains to use destruction and your gadgets properly. Btw, the destruction is super good. Way better than in bf bad company 2 or bf3 close quarters. The balance is pretty good too. Yeah, there are a few bugs, but i hope they will be fixed in near future and I believe that this game will be a great addition toGreat game.     Good game, all these zeros are way to low. Hit detection really isn't that bad, kill cams are just bugged. They don't show exactly where the person aimed. Watch if you get final kill, it will be off. Match making is slow sometimes but not as bad as beta, I always find a game. Great FPS with destruction. TTK is kind of weird but it's good fun. Takes some adjusting from say battlefield

    Best FPS out on the market today. Most realistic shooter on Xbox One. Getting shot in the game actually has a consequence as oppose to other games where you just respawn anywhere on the map.

Also they said it was going to be Multiplayer ONLY before the release... So why are you ranking this game badly? Because you are illiterate?

    2) STOP COMPARING THIS TO CALL OF DUTY AND BATTLEFIELD! This just goes to show that these bot / spammer reviews are full of crap; and that none of these reviews come from people that actually played the game. The ONLY game that can SOME WHAT be compared to RS: Siege would be the Counter-Strike Series. THAT BEING SAID; the only ways these two games are similar are as follows. A) You have two teams, super basic for an FPS. B) IF you get killed you have to wait until the current round is done in order to respawn. C) Counter-Strike like RS: Siege is an FPS that's only Online play. D) Counter-Strike does involve some strategy, but not NEARLY as much as RS: Siege. This is because there are no "Improvised" routes you can take to your objective. THAT IS ALL. The damage, gun, recoil, and sight systems used in Counter-Strike are VASTLY different than in RS: Siege. AND I LOVE THAT FACT! No longer do I have to shoot someone 20 times in the chest with a rifle in order to kill them.

    2a) The reason why I said not to compare this game with Call of Duty or Battlefield is because both CoD and Battlefield have yet AGAIN vastly different gameplay than RS: Siege. Let's take CoD first shall we? A) CoD is basically a run and gun game. IE you run you kill / get killed and then almost instantly respawn. This is WAAAAY different that RS: Siege; which is a strategy shooter. Your life has a lot more meaning and weight in RS: Siege than I've seen in almost any other game. (More on that later) Next lets talk about the CoD damage system... WHICH IS ATROCIOUS! empty a 30 round clip into someone and they still live? That's utter crap! That and you can get useless / un-strategic perks to help with your health, drop a grenade after you die, get a second chance, run faster etc.These are useless in a team dynamic and are basically there for the individual. If it doesn't help the team it's basically a gimmick to add some "oooooOoOOOOoOoo" factor. (This doesn't work on me) RS: Siege doesn't need OR have these gimmicks. Now with all of this being said, of course there is a hardcore mode in CoD, but that still requires 3-4 shots, and you still have those crappy gimmicks.

    2b) Now lets talk about Battlefield. In Normal Mode, battlefield just basically just like CoD, but with extra physics, better graphics, vehicles, more "Strategic" perks (Gimmicks). and lastly a much better damage / bullet arc system. Like I said above, about 99% of this doesn't apply to RS: Siege, with the exception of the "Strategic" perks. (IE riot shields, barbed wire, etc.) Lastly the ONLY thing you can compare RS: Siege to battlefield with, would be Battlefields "Hardcore" mode. In this mode, the damage system is somewhat similar although not exactly the same and you still have those "Strategic" perks that help your teammates. Other than that, Battlefield is vastly different. Just the map sizes alone shows this. (Depending on your game mode of course - but basically all game modes work off of the same 10-12 HUGE maps... It's just that Battlefield restricts the range of these maps drastically)

    3) After playing this game for a while, I've come to see that no other FPS is as strategic as RS: Siege. Sure some come close, like insurgency; but if you wanna talk about bad AI.., MAN! the AI in that game has basically 2 modes: Aimbot, and wallhacks. The fact that you can improvise in RS: Siege is one of it's best features, and the fact that the dev team made an actual "Destructive Enviornment" (I'm looking at you BF!) is just AMAZING. The gameplay is intense, very strategic and very thought provoking. People that just want to run and gun shouldn't even be looking at any "Tom Clancy" game, let alone this one.

    The last thing I want to say about the game, is about the dev support... IT'S F***ING GOOOOOOD. They fix bugs much faster than I've ever seen on any FPS. (This includes CoD and Battlefield) The dev's also did a great job with making this game run smoothly at 60 FPS. That's It! Later!    … Expand

    Yes the servers are a bit buggy, but ubisoft is doing all they can IMO.

    Jogo muito bacana, tem uma jogabilidade um pouco diferente pra quem joga BF4 ou outro FPS mais depois de um tempo vc ja acostuma e fica muito legal, ainda mais quando usada as táticas de invasão militar, sem falar nos graficos e cutscenes que ta muito show....recomendo!

    There are customisable loadouts, attachments to add to your weapons, completely altering their statistics (recoil, flash hiders, angled grips giving you quicker ADS transitions etc.). If you like competitive multiplayer games, you're doing yourself a disservice by not trying it out. In my opinion, this is now the only competitive shooter worth playing. Period. The maps, too, are full of detail with so many avenues to explore and ways to breach your objective.

    I'd advise playing with friends, however, or at least using a mic as this game is heavily team-oriented and you will certainly suffer playing online without one.

    That said, it's not perfect. There are a few issues such as semi-auto shotguns having too much range, a couple silly operator buffs such as Pulse's heartbeat scanner - but all in all, this game is fantastic. Surprisingly, the devs have given it patch after patch - something you definitely don't expect from Ubisoft, considering their post-release support generally leaves much to be desired. So for this reason, I have no doubt everything will be sorted (Pulse and semi-autos get nerfed this month so the perfect game will then become godlike).

And the game provides lots of tools to do gather it. Camera, drone, gadgets for example. The sound in the game is also crucial so be sure you have a good headset..

    The weapons feel good. You can customize the loadout of all the operators. Operators are pretty well balanced overall. They bring a lot of variety to the gameplay (instead of playing M4, AWP or AK all day).
    My best FPS experience so far, made me quit CS:GO. 10/10 (could be 9 because of some bugs because hell it deserves more than a 7).    … Expand

Here you can not just stupid to get in to the enemy through the door and break through the wall, ceiling, blow the door, and the opponent will be confused "where am I to watch?!". Outside you can climb down the wall on ropes, punching the window, hanging and upside down (which at first familiar, but you can get used to) - it is also necessary to use, as the enemy often does not expect. (Might I mention that all of this DLC is completely free.) More patches fixing more and more, improving the games life and popularity. Now, here in 2017, Ubisoft has managed to pull my favorite game out of the trash and reform it into something different. Something that a large community of people now love. There are major patches in between and on DLC releases. An anti-cheat system was implemented was has eradicated 99.99% of hackers. All the bugs that have majorly and minorly affected this game have been fixed and they have also given another FREE year of content. Their main priorities ATM are hit registration and matchmaking. Even though this game had a almost completely failed launch, Ubisoft has stuck with the game and turned it into a rare success story where the game community is not sinking, yet raising instead. This game is amazing don't get me wrong, but it does have some minor bugs that will not always affect gameplay. It requires patience and skill unlike many other shooters. The developers also occasionally put a $15 version of the full game on the store for those interested in trying the game. It is the full game as I said before, yet requires more grinding, which seems a fair trade for literally 70% off of the game. Finally, mind a large majority of the game reviews if you are interested in the game. They were made back in the game's **** release days and are nowhere near accurate. Give this game a shot if you will. Great Community as well. It is totally worth your time.… Expand

    This game isn’t perfect, but I still gave it a 10 because it has hooked me for 700+ hours now with all its new content being added and unique tactical gameplay. It will kick down in the first few hours of play, but I guarantee you will learn from your mistakes and finally reach a point where you can understand why I love this game so much. Must pick this up!

    This is my go-to FPS as some other titles like Call of Dutty and CsGo had toxic communities and were very unbalanced. This is also one of the first ever FPS's that actually made me think. This might add a learning curve but I enjoy that because you go back to the other FPS's you will realize that you will be better. All of the operators are super balanced (except Lord Tachanka he' tooThis is my go-to FPS as some other titles like Call of Dutty and CsGo had toxic communities and were very unbalanced. This is also one of the first ever FPS's that actually made me think. This might add a learning curve but I enjoy that because you go back to the other FPS's you will realize that you will be better. All of the operators are super balanced (except Lord Tachanka he' too good). There isn't much of a campaign but they do have the situations which teach you the mechanics just as good as a campaign would ever. The real joy lies in the multiplayer which is a great non-toxic community due to there being a very strict admin. I just love this game.… Expand

    After a lot of years, I found a "tactical" shooter with a decent community.

    So, I was playing this game on free weekend and my mum tells me no more fortnite, I became really upset so i said "this ain't it chief". After she takes my computer away now i'm all alone. She also tells me to do a "waffle stomp" but i don't know what that is so please help. Anyway 10/10 masterpiece my nan plays this and she plays candy crush. PLS rate 5 stars

    Nowadays the game is really healthy right now, bad hit reg is rare, hackers are rare, balancing is a little bit wack for blitz and maverick, but overall it's very very satisfying to succeed, and fun to play with teamwork from friends.

For example, I remember playing with my friends, we were quietly sneaking into the building on the floor above the objective when suddenly the enemy team threw an impact grenade that blow-up the ground under our feet and made us fall into a chaotic firefight.
    Many critics express their contempt for the lack of a single-player campaign in the game. They’re wrong. I think the lack of a campaign is better because the multiplayer mode compensates for it. In addition, I am a social person and I can’t play solo.
    Ubisoft just released the new roadmap for year 4 of the game. The roadmap tells us that this year they are going to release 8 new operators, a new map, and rework 3 old maps. The first two operators to get release will have special abilities that will change the game as we know it. The first one, a defender named Mozi and an attacker named Gridlock. The former will have a special ability that is to take over the attacker’s drones and the latter will have the ability to throw a spiked net wherever she wants. These are exciting news, and I am waiting for them with the utmost hype.
    For conclusion, Rainbow Six Siege is the most enjoyable game that I have ever played. This game doesn’t even need a singleplayer mode because the multiplayer is so awesome.    … Expand

    An FPS and a strategy game mixed wonderfully. A real gem in gaming history. The maps very detailed and have many tactical possibilities with destroyable walls, and operator skills. The gameplay, the weapons are perfect. This is the future of the FPS genre. Highly addictive! Never boring :) Year Pass worth the money, new maps and operators have many new possibilities.     Ubisoft made amazing game. At the beginning was game a bit broken (lags, texture and weapon bugs), but in few years they fixed almost all bugs, optimalized the game, added a lot of new operators and maps. I play this game almost 4 years and I still enjoy it.

    I think it is the best game that I seen. It is very good for 2015. Yeah, there is games better than R6 in 2015 but the best FPS is this game. It is a tactical game. I loved it so much. At the game, there is a lot of teamwork. If your team is nice and you have tactics, it means you won.

    Now the best way to enjoy R6S is playing it on AMD hardware, Vulkan made this game smoother than ever, And the input lag reduced by 4% compared to DX11, No doubt AMD knows how to destroy Intel and Nvidia.

    When I first played this game I hated it. Now I have 400 hours in it. It's difficult, but accessible and informational in a way that makes it very doable to improve, with very tangeable results. I'm still playing, and I always have fun. Can't ask for much more than that.

    One of the best FPs on the market, the only skilled shooter left that is deeply enjoyable after DICE turned the Battlefield Franchise into a "pew pew", kids skill level, COD wannabie. R6 Siege is so Enjoyable and worth every penny.. Grab the Season pass if you like looking good on the battlefield !

    Being playing on n off since 2015 on pc and xbox

    If this was a review before they removed the vote to kick on casual play. I would rate this a zero due to team killing n random toxic people.

    The last month been a lot of fun.

    This game is good and well made! however, for you to really have fun, you need to play with known friends or if you're going to play with random, let it be with the call turned off because the community is toxic! and a hard game

Every time I want to play I shower for 10 minutes brush my hair so that none goes in my eyes, I go breathe air outside so I’m in the action of the game. It has a toxic community and a lot of sweats. I hate this game more than everything else but the addiction in so strong I keep playing it. It is the only game where I could haveOne of the hardest if not THE hardest game to get into.
