    This is a great add on but if you are looking for new weapons in the single player mode forget about it. Multiplayer is a lot smoother and does have some new weapons.

    we dont care about lasers / new weapons when it comes to old classic. if you gonna play this old rock solid classic, youre not goin to do it for flashy graphics or invisibility modes, But for the great feeling in it.

    (based on the PS2 version. Here at metacritic there is no desert SIEGE by ps2)

    I prefer the setting of the 2001 game, the desert one I didn't think was cool, even so it's still a good game!

    Desert Siege brings virtually nothing new in terms of mission design, interface, weapons (well you get some new ones in multiplayer) or anything like that. It's a pretty straightforward expansion pack.
