    I enjoy the new X-com-esque missions and the police management, but the story is honestly the worst part. The main character is extremely unlikable and can't even decide if he's a good guy or a bad guy and you have basically no choice in the matter. I wish I could just skip all the cutscenes because they're not much look at and they also take forever to get to their points. With a script that could've summed up someone's feelings in a sentence instead turns it into a very repetitive paragraph. Certain voice actors are pretty bad and obnoxious to listen to. I've been save scumming a bit to fix any big mistakes and I'm so glad to skip the cut scene every time. Wish I just never had to watch any of the cut scenes, that's how bad they are.… Expand

    i did play the first game in the series, that game would receive a 8 from me. but this particular game i don't hart. way to hard!

    Я искренне не понимаю почему эта игра никому не понравилась. По моему это самая недооценённая игра 2018 года. THIS IS THE POLICE 2 - это прямое сюжетное продолжение первой части разбавленное новыми увлекательными игровыми механиками. Но в любом случае, рекомендую играть в эту игру только после прохождения первой части.

    9/10, так как первую игру это всё равно не перепрыгнет.    Я искренне не понимаю почему эта игра никому не понравилась. По моему это самая недооценённая игра 2018 года. I would say 1 indie game for 1 AAA title. Maybe I don't know everything and it isn't the best review you can get but it's my opinion.     The game opens up with a great tutorial and entrance to the story line. The game then takes 20 minutes to unload the story on you, with cut-scenes, that despite having a unique and well made art style, are poorly written and unnecessary. This might be on account of me not having played the first one though. The game play itself is a strategic turn-based puzzle that you have to solve, using the tools that each officer brings to the mission. After a few missions, they unfortunately get stale. The policing of the city adds another layer of depth, but again it suffers from a lack of depth and it becomes very apparent how to game the system to never have major problems.

    It is clear that a lot of effort went into the story, but it sadly detracts from the overall experience instead of adding anything. I never got engaged in the characters, mostly due to how poorly the script is written. The game also suffers from poor voice acting, this is often times no problem if the script itself is engaging.

    The game ends up coming just short in most of its elements. Granted i think i got halfway through, so i'm now aware if further elements are added that make it more engaging, but that shouldn't be necessary for a game like this.

    The most boring game ever. Useless graphomania, endless cutscenes, bad characters burns your life, literally. 10% of gameplay time and 90% of that trash ? No thanks. The only one new thing is XCOM-style tactical missions even without saves?
    2/10.

    The developer should be focusing on making a game without a set story; just have you be an unnamed police commissioner and story events happen that shape your morality. The bland story of same-old, same-old bogs down the game uncomfortably and burdens the player with an uninteresting, unlikable main character that is hard to invest in.

    The game could also benefit from reworking random events. It turns out having your police officers randomly dying without any input from you is not fun. You would think that most developers would be able to piece that together on their own, but it looks like the folks behind "This is the Police" are a cut above the rest.

    The art is nice though.

    A very good story, nicely told, it's a game who call for attention. I greatly appreciate it, if you like fargo, breaking bad... it's for you !

    Ich kann nicht von vielen Spielen behaupten, dass ich sie komplett durchgespielt habe und nicht irgendwann angefangen habe durchzurushen, weil es einfach zu langweillig wurde. This is the Police 2 hat alles zu bemängelnde vom ersten Teil richtig gemacht. Wo This is the Police 1 nur mit einer sehr interessante Story und mit ein paar echt coolen Momenten überzeugen kann, bietet der zweite Teil so viel Diversität. Man hat sich einfach so viel überlegt bei dem Spiel, ohne dass man die bereits bestehenden Stärken des Spiels runterkrubeln musste. Das Spiel überzeugt mit neuem Design, ein paar 3D cutscenes und den ständigen lustigen Dialogen.

    Ich bin gespannt ob es einen dritten Teil geben wird. Jack Boyd hat das Zeug dazu ein drittes Spiel zu füllen.    … Expand

    Грамотное продолжение первой части, возможностей больше, рутины меньше. Из минусов все такие же непредсказуемые последствия ваших действий + высокая сложность стелс миссий.

    WOW! С этим словом я закончил прохождение этой игры. Я прекрасно понимаю, почему многим игра не понравилась. Это из-за ужасных тактических миссий(я знаю о чём говорю, я проходил XCOM), счётчик опыта копов(не знаю как это назвать правильно), который не позволял отправить двух копов на задержание старушки. Но в остальном игра осталась крутой, в духе первой части. 8/10, так как описанные вышеWOW! С этим словом я закончил прохождение этой игры. Я прекрасно понимаю, почему многим игра не понравилась.     - Back to Boyd and his story. The first game was solid and it was interesting to know what's next.
    - Music. Even though worse than before. - Similar but slightly different setting. From city police to sheriff's work. - Investigations and tactical missions (even though people were angry and annoyed at the beginning). Cons.: - As Sharpwood the game seems kind of... Unfinished.    Pros.:
    - Back to Boyd and his story. The first game was solid and it was interesting to know what's next.
    - Music. Even though worse than before.
    - Similar but slightly different setting. From city police to sheriff's work.
    - Investigations and tactical missions (even though people were angry and annoyed at the beginning).

    Cons.:
    - As Sharpwood the game seems kind of... Unfinished. There is a huge potential you may feel but at the end you can't get rid of the feeling that something's missing. Not SWAT, of course.
    - Some of Boyd's decisions seem... Strange. As well as the cliffhangers.
    - False calls are boring. Easy to spot.
    - Skill + mission resolution part become extremely boring.

    In total we have a solid game, nice sequel, worse than the original, but still worth playing. However, investigations could be improved with the mechanics more sophisticated. Missions could be more challenging and variable. Tactical part could become a masterpiece, but still look like a mix of X-Com and Jagged Alliance.    … Expand

    Extremely dull and boring intro. The xcom like missions are cool but misclicks occur way often. Annoying and unnecessary cinematics in between days.

Me gustó el conjunto diverso de personajes que ayudaron a construir la trama en la campaña, pero a costa de una experiencia generalmente defectuosa, particularmente con las operaciones tácticas.
