Oct 18, 2015It's a fantastic DLC,well worth the small asking price.Besides the expected new weapons, armour, quests etc,it contains a truly brilliant main story and excellent characters, music and dialogue. The Witcher (and CDPR) keep on giving in what is now,I have decided, the greatest video game I've ever experienced (4 times so far).Blood and Wine cannot come soon enough...Masterful.

Oct 19, 2015Amazing expansion. Awesome story. Great characters. Improved boss fights. Just amazing.
It is basically still the same old Witcher 3 but even more improved. I did not think it is even possible but here you are. -
May 21, 2016Great expansion pack with great story. It starts kind of slow, and I was initially disappointed when it started with a mission to kill some monster in the sewers, but then the story quickly starts taking unexpected turns, and builds up to become a really great storyline on par with the best storylines of the original game (such as the Bloody Baron storyline). Overall, a great expansion.

Jan 31, 2016A great example of what DLC should be. It adds a new crafting system to the game and expands the world a bit. The real treat, however, is the story. Without spoiling anything, I'll say that the antagonist is one of the most interesting I've encountered in a video game, ever. I really enjoyed the 10 hours I put into and I think it's well worth the $15 it cost.

Oct 15, 2015I wouldn't exactly call Hearts of Stone an expansion, more like an expanded DLC. Having said that, the story completely blew me away. This is definitely one of the greatest pieces of RPG storytelling ever made. Please CDPR, please make more like this.

Nov 6, 2018A masterpiece, like the base game. "Scenes from a marriage" in the most engaging and suggestive gameplay I've ever had in 20 years. Great plot, great dialogues, great cinematics, great voice acting.

Mar 6, 2017This games plus its expansions are easily one of the best games ever.
There are problems, bugs and not finished things, but graphics, music, story, atmosphere.... everything about this game is amazing.
spent 60$ on the game plus expansions (steam sale), for about 160 hours of great gameplay. 10/10 would recommend. -
Mar 28, 2016This much better than original game. 10/10
What can i say else? Main story very intersting, not a lot of quests, but they realy interesting. I can recommend this expantion to everyone -
Feb 2, 2020Whereas I think Blood and Wine is a bit above HoS, I give this a 10 just because of the characters Olgierd von Everec and Gaunter O'Dimm. Also, possibly the best quest in the game + expansions. You'll know which one when you play it.
Play this. -
May 13, 2016They improved upon the one thing that was pretty bad in Witcher 3 and that was the easy boss battles. The story in this expansion is stellar and it is graciously accepted as a longtime Witcher fan.

Nov 30, 2016This is how a DLC should be. Worth your money. A good lengthy story and some new items and features. Feels wish all other RPG were followed up with expansions like this.

Dec 9, 2015I loved the boss battles in Hearts of Stone; especially the last one. I really enjoyed the story and appreciated the small extension to the map they gave us. I really appreciated the art style at this one particular segment of the game (you'll know). Ending was dope.

Jan 5, 2016Brilliant, even better than the brilliant main game. Condensed goodness, the best writing and worldbuilding so far. (Minor minus for the "heist" for trend following but luckily it was not poorly executed)

May 23, 2016Excellent expansion, If you want to finish it off completely it will take a mere 13-14 hrs(you have to be perfect), the combat well felt like Witcher 2, was challenging in comparison to the one's witcher 3 boasted of, overall it's a great DLC and will be worth every penny, this is how a dlc is supposed to be when not a standalone dlc!

Oct 17, 2015Interesting and funny story. But i think that this game is more fun for Sapkowski's readers, Pols and Slavic ppl. The humor of conversations is great in polish version, one day I have to play english one

Nov 13, 2015Great and unique main quest , three amazing new characters, some new gear, new rune mechanics, new types of beasts, nice boss fights. And to think that this is the smaller one of the two expansions included in the season pass (Blood & Wine being the second, coming 2016). CDPR is a game dev god. Powerful and benevolent.

Jul 6, 2016With Geralt's final adventure coming to an end, CD Projekt Red did a masterful job. Action, intrigue, love and Gwent - it's all there and it's better than ever. Truly a finale worthy of the legendary Witcher.
-
May 31, 2016Hearts of Stone is an essential pickup if you’re playing The Witcher 3.
