Both DLCs for The Witcher 3 are great. It includes new upgrades to your weapons and an expansion of the map. But, without a doubt, the best feature about this DLC is its story, dark and intriguing.

This was a great adventure. Very enjoyable. Incredibly fun boss fights. A great extension to the main game. Adds approximately 15 more hours of game play. If you own the Witcher 3 this is a must have.

Nice bit of extra content, a DLC that is substantial in size and worth the price of admission.

The story starts off very slowly and didn't actually engage me until quite later, mind you the base Wild Hunt game needed to get out of White Orchard before it captured my attention fully. It's more of the same with a tighter storyline as the assumption is most players will have finished

It's more of the same with a tighter storyline as the assumption is most players will have finished the original so can just attack the main quest here and explode the new area which isn't huge.

Lastly the bosses were not hard or frustrating despite what some might claim, yes they're harder bosses than the Wild Hunt but those were the weakest spectre riders ever.

You'll know if this expansion is your thing if you've played the base game!

Despite all of its sometimes tiresome puzzles and poorly implemented new features, Hearts of Stone is one of the best expansion packs the gaming world has seen in recent years.

The writing is absolutely superb and there's easily enough content here to justify the price tag. A must-have for fans of the main game, no doubt about that.

Such an amazing add-on. In fact, this was the best DLC since Half Life Opposing Force. Very funny and strong. Really fun to play and story is strong. Don´t hasitate to download and play it.

This expansion is great. Of course it's always better when it "expands" the main story, or tells what happened after original story - that's why I give it 9 not 10 ;)

Contrary to CDPR's definition, this DLC isn't really an expansion, as it's essentially only one long quest and a couple of side quests. That said, boy is it a good DLC. The main quest is excellent and O'Dimm is a perfect villain. I really enjoyed the mysterious atmosphere. The side quests are also great. Although there is one part of the main quest that's a bit dull and I wasn't satisfied with the ending, in the end I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it thoroughly. For 10€ this is absolutely a must buy. Expand

It's definitly a worth acquisition that makes the already amazing and grey world of The Witcher 3 into something more beautiful and incredible.

+ New quests, enemies and places to explore

After the unpopular view i had about many aspects of the base Witcher 3 game, i didn't expect this to be as good as it was.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I actually really enjoyed this DLC - was a good little side story and allows you to continue as Geralt. Olgierd von Everec appears to be David Beckham with scars and a cocky attitude that makes you want to kill him from the get go - but he cannot be killed! You can however kill him right at the end of the game if you want!

The Wedding romp is great - the DLC is worth its price for that sequence alone

    Goooall!

The Witcher 3's first expansion is a bit less deep as compared to the main story but possesses a greater amount of humor and a better feel of adventure. Hearts of Stone is truly what you can call a DLC -- hooking me again in the game, tending to my wounds after the peculiar wave of sadness that comes when you finish a game as good as The Witcher 3.

Now THIS is an example of how to do an open world game in 2015.
Adds new story, romance, locations, armours, etc. A must buy for only $10 if you're a fan of the Witcher series.

Like the main game it's very well optimised and I didn't encounter a single bug in the DLC content.

It is a very good DLC, with a very good story and development of new characters. However, the ending is a bit disappointing. No final boss fight, only running around trying to find a reflection was kinda boring (and with that damn time limit)

(almost) Everything a DLC should have:
New mechanics added to enchant weapons. New sidequests, new NPC to talk to.
A good story with great characters and enemies. If you liked the Witcher 3 you should play Hearts of Stone.

With Geralt's final adventure coming to an end, CD Projekt Red did a masterful job. Action, intrigue, love and Gwent - it's all there and it's better than ever. Truly a finale worthy of the legendary Witcher.
