    If you haven't played already, there's perfect occasion. Witcher 3 GOTY - Brilliant game in every aspect, fully patched with 2 great, massive dlcs. It's just like GoT of video games, but better! For me, it's not game of the year, it's a game of a decade!

    This is the greatest fantasy game I've every played. The level of immersion is unmatched and you can literally spend hours just wondering the map and exploring to the wonderful musical score and great visuals. It's that good.

    A year before Witcher 3 was one of my favorite games... But now after all the patches and two AMAZING expansions it is without a doubt the greatest game I ever played.

    My second favorite would be Pillars of Eternity.by my favorite studio
    Obsidian Entertainment. HUGELY disappointed by Fallout 4 (So Bethesda can bite it!)

    The best cRPG since Baldur's Gate. Immersing, beautiful, fun. Hours of great storytelling, interesting, original, and, on higher difficulty levels, very demanding fighting system. This game is a definite must have.

    The best game than I ever played, the history is awesome, like the creatures and battles.
    In game, you take dificult desision, and you will cry if you chose bad.
    You will have to many time of play, more than 200 hours.

    Un verdadero juego, bestial en el apartado grafico con una buena PC te la pasas maravillado viendo sus paisajes y climas, excelente, y eso que me quedo corto, porque coleccionar todas las armaduras y hacer todas sus misiones minimo te tomara 300 horas completarla con sus dos dlc's, es genial , recomendado al 100%

    WOAH !!! this was THE GAME of the decade at least... It has depth, story and interesing fight system.
    I don't like dragons, witches and such things, but the game was brilliant... Its atmosphere is perfect to get you in it.

    I wish they could return with a fourth part...

    The game is absolutely wonderful! There are little or no bugs that will crash your save or ruin your gameplay experience.

    It is true that the game plays better on a pad but you might as well play it on a keyboard and mouse. The story is well written and there are no story holes to the best of my knowledge.     CD projekt Red studio does not fool people. They gave all the DLC free. They developped two expansions that you have to pay for (but are now included in this complete edition) that are true expansions, the second adding a big new area and compelling story.     I begin my third replay. And I MUST say: this is still the best game ever made by a man. Graphics, story, quests, gameplay. music. quests, battles, world... absolutely best!!!

    One of the best games I have ever played, it gives a lot of playable hours with so many side-quests. I find this perfect as it can please everyone, if you want to play the campaign only because you don't have much time you can do it, if you want to complete the whole game spending a lot of time you can do it too. The DLCs are SO GOOD, and add a lot of content to the game. In con, I have toOne of the best games I have ever played, it gives a lot of playable hours with so many side-quests. I find this perfect as it can please everyone, if you want to play the campaign only because you don't have much time you can do it, if you want to complete the whole game spending a lot of time you can do it too. The DLCs are SO GOOD, and add a lot of content to the game. In con, I have to say that the main character you play as, Geralt, doesn't evolve along the game, you start with 2 swords and 5 spells, and you end with the same, 2 swords and 5 spells.… Expand

    Pretty bad optimizations next gen update makes this game a terrible ported game honestly the games doesn’t look that good with next gen .. next gen my ass now game crashing on dx12 and perform much worse than original with dx11… uninstalled immediately

    Отличная игра с большим открытым миром, с хорошим сюжетом. Большое разнообразие дополнительных заданий, монстров, брони и оружия и так далее.
    Отличные эффекты и графика.

Button mashing is often necessary and interior combat is as bad as it gets, which is a situation the game puts you in often.

Button mashing is often necessary and interior combat is as bad as it gets, which is a situation the game puts you in often.

    The magic signs have their importance but you will be spending most of your time recharging your shield which essentially confines your magic abilities to boosting your armor. The perks, abilities, and weapon upgrades are mechanically useful yet they fail to excite beyond their functionality.

    Dialogue wise, the genealogy of answers is quite shallow and deprived of branching - Suffice to experience Deus ex: Human revolution's dialogue system to understand what I mean by that. There is no "Game" to be found in the dialogue mechanics. The characters are inanimate dolls and the choices on offer are nothing more than a bunch of glorified playback buttons.

    Exploration wise, I think the game does a descent job in terms of environmental story telling, but nothing that is worth the praises beyond the best the competition has to offer. Shenmue 2 does much more in my opinion and the game came out nearly 20 years ago. The investigative phases are a real joke too, where you are mindlessly following red marks - yet another example of shallow, unaccomplished mechanic.

    The pacing is a real problem too ; During the first half of the game (10hrs), the story literally stalls. The game becomes more engaging once you reach the second half, but it feels too little too late. The characters are likable and by the end of the game I did feel some attachment towards some of them. The difficulty is also an issue, where the beginning happens to be much harder than the end; I beat the final bosses on my first attempts while being vastly under-leveled.

    The visuals are fairly bland retrospectively ; For instance, I find the sunsets particularly vulgar and over-saturated . The towns also, lack authenticity in their structure and layout, and that is particularly jarring if you compare it to the original Assassin's creed's urban layout, which feel substantially more authentic and researched.

    To conclude, I'd say that the disproportionate success and admiration this game has generated, comes from the fascination that the average nerd historically hold toward medieval sword and shields ; It's the "game of thrones" generation that has brought Wild hunt to the pinnacle.

    Wild hunt is not a bad game, it's just so far from being this timeless masterpiece    … Expand

    I personally didn't experience this one but it's highly evident that RTX performance is horrendous regardless of how high-end your system is, it's truly awful for how little it actually changed.

    Now why is this review still a 9? Isn't it super crappy that the new update did all this? Well yes, but actually no, they'll eventually fix it and I got it all entirely for free so I don't care to be honest. I love The Witcher 3, the game is far too perfect to be dropped to a low score and it doesn't deserve bad press. It's the only game I ever felt inclined to experience absolutely all the content within it because I just wasn't ready for it to end. I even did the more niche stuff like destroying everyone I could possibly find at the Gwent card game.    … Expand

    This game is LEGENDARY! One of the best games of all time. The story, music, characters, the world, it's all so good! The developers poured so much of their love and passion into this and it absolutely shows.
    Don't hesitate, play this absolute masterpiece!

    The gamworld is flooded with handcrafted details. I have never seen such a high quality and quantity in a game ever. I still wonder how they managed to create such a masterpiece. Just play it. It's worth every second of your time.

    nevertheless, I liked cyberpunk more and I went through the witcher in 2023 to the end, but I understand why the game is loved, not even for the gameplay, but for the atmosphere, the music of the characters and the story that touches to the core

    What can you say, one of the best games ever made, just got even better. No amount of Words can describe the greatness of this game and the feeling you get while playing it. A timeless Masterpiece.

    How did this game become GOTY 2015? I played it for the first time and it's very, very bad. Boring world, boring quests (walk from A to B to C and back to B), "next-gen update" doesn't look next-gen at all, extremely poor combat system and many more things that justifies a rating of 0 for this game.     Almost eight years later, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt manages to shine among its most direct competitors. This version takes a huge step towards the next-gen thanks to improved visuals, a ton of quality of life improvements and most importantly some of the best mods out there. There’s also a glimpse of new content, but the traditional game, the one dated back to 2015, is still the brightest diamond in the package.
