    IMO this DLC was apotheosis of all games created by CD Projekt RED. Wild Hunt had certain flaws, because the story in it was too large-scale. On the contrary, in Blood and Wine developers found golden ratio of the size of story. Small quests are awesome, and main story is thrilling and had unexpected turns.

    Great Expansion Pack! Indeed a must play on its own. Though there is not much development concerning Geralt as a character, it leaves plenty of room for the other characters to get their own lights. A very mature plot and very intriguing as one progresses more and more, but side quests can get a little tiring from time to time, something that would not be a problem if you consider that asGreat Expansion Pack! Not to say that the side quests are boring or anything, in fact it is really impressive how the developers can still pull out fresh and interesting side quests, but there are some side quests that will make you want to finish them already and move on to some other more interesting things to do.
    Talking about the new map, it is really glorious, different, marvelous, absorbing and quite well contrasted from all the other maps already placed in the game; one can feel the owe when discovering these new lands once again. Even the people can differ a lot from the folk from the north and Nifgaard. The people of Toussaint are even more polite!
    The new system of character development, involving the creation of new powerful mutagens, is satisfactorily justified with a really interesting side quest to get them activated.
    Overall, a very pleasing story to enjoy. Characters with their own motivations and way of thinking that make up for a great story that wil put a nice "goodbye for now" to this incredible universe. With, yet again, another really pleasing and nostalgic surprise at the very end of the main story... well of course it's CD Projekt Red so it might depend on your previous decisions from point 0 of the game.    … Expand

    Honestly my favorite of the two dlc's. This Story is INSANE the farther you get into it. Literally the only thing keeping this from a 10 in my opinion was the fact that because it was in a hotter realm, they decided to add mosquito sounds when bugs were near by and that just annoyed me personally. This DLC is a must play if you haven't for some reason.

А насчет самого дополнения то скажу что оно прекрасное, жаль конечно было расставаться с героями, но закончили красиво.     While the spectacular world and the beautiful backstory surrounding the characters will awe you, the main story unfortunately comes extremely short and below average quality of typical RPGs.     The controls of the main character feels extremely stiff due to wanting to emphasize the stylish nature of combat Geralt takes. This is especially bothersome when the character is forced to take 2m forward for most attacks you initiate.
    Looting in the game is not spectacular but understandable considering the game was never focused on looting in the first place. However, it also feels the inclusion of the system itself is pointless considering food is unnecessary and any potions you unlocked do not require further crafting to refill.

    Although this expansion is a significant upgrade to the main game, ultimately feels on par with the main game because of the previous issues that persist.    … Expand

    I have no words to describe the amount of creativity, content and love that was put in to this DLC. It just keep unveiling and giving and surprising, it could be as well separate Witcher game. Just as main Witcher 3 game its a must have. A true diamond in today's grim AAA gaming experience.

    Otimos personagens, historia intrigante, novo mapa, contratos e armaduras, junto aos diversos aspectos que fazem essa dlc parecer mais um jogo novo do que uma dlc propriamente dita.
    Acho que fica atras da Hearts of Stone, mas isso definitivamente não é um demerito.

    After i played HoS i thought nothing would be able to top this and i got blasted away by this dlc. I loved the different mood of this stunning new area to explore, the new charakters were just amazing, the ending i got just broke my heart and the side quests are even better than the ones in the main game, the soundtrack was also really cool.

    This DLC brings the change of the climax. You are entering the fairy tale land full of wine and beautiful views only to find yourself in the middle of the vampire story.
    It's funny that after more than 200 hours into the Witcher 3 world I still don't have enough of it.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First of all, this DLC is more than just an additional gameplay. It's a story, with its characters, its monsters and its territory. "Blood and Wine" came out just a year after the game did, that's why only the main plot quests take 20 hours to complete. But to feel yourself really in the game, in Toussent, the extra missions are obligatory to play. After some days of adventures in Toussent you won't want to come back to grey and gloomy Wyzima. Of course Toussent is based on r.l. medieval France or might be Italy, where the knights' fights and wine feasts are the main activity of every young man.
    Despite the fact that its metascore is only 92/100, I would give it 96 or 97, and that's the firm 10/10.    … Expand

    A fantastic addition to what was already a great game. A story with great contrasts, seemingly light and bubbly but deep and dark as time goes on.

    The world is beautiful, the soundtrack is amazing and emotion filled. The dialogue is just as amazing as the main game and I didn't think they could make the relationships more meaningful but they absolutely managed to do so.     So many memories... When I've been reading the Witcher books, I loved the fairy-tale-styled duchy of Toussaint with its chevaliers and culture. I loved vampire Regis who became one of Geralt's closest friends (and who died heroically in the end of the book saga) and I loved Mr. Sapkowski's non-stereotypical approach to vampire mythology. And this DLC has all of these things and adds a lot more.

    Story, characters, soundtrack, new gameplay mechanics, atmosphere, jokes... Simply great. And when "Dusk of a Northern Kingdom" started playing during one cutscene I almost died from nostalgia.

    Blood and Wine is well-crafted DLC and and excellent send-off to Geralt.

    Don't like bright colors of Tussent, as for me, dark Vellen was better. But anyway, amazing story and so good quests and characters. The Witcher is The Witcher - must play anyway.

    We have to be thankful, that there are still good developers for AAA titles. I'd even say this needs AAA+ status it's just too far above the rest.

    Excellent narrative and gorgeous landscapes of Toussaint hook you into this colossal expansion. This one manages to intrigue as well as the first with its twists and amazing attention to detail.
    Overall, i preferred first expansion just a bit more (from a narrative perspective), this one though, is a more massive fleshed out new world. Worth it

    This is perfection in every sense. This game is incredible. This is the best expansion to come out for a video game. Huge new area. So many new spots to explore. Many, many new quests. New characters. New Storyline. And none of it is weak. If one owns the Witcher 3 for PC then Blood and Wine is a must have.

Toussaint is looking ridiculously beautiful, there is just nothing on the market that looks this good, and I have played all the best looking games on high-end PC and display, maxed out.     Having skipped the wild hunt because honestly after 20 hours I realized I wasn't enjoying the game although I gave it a fair shot... years later I was told the expansions were better and more direct to the point so I wanted to give it a try.

    Yes, it's incredibly beautiful to look at and there's ALOT of attention to detail which is a masterpiece of achievement on it's own.... but it's still a boring game. Maybe if they had implemented some form of 1st person view, I would be more immersed or enjoyed it personally... but it felt like I was controlling a RTS character that was clunky and honestly the controls were extremely frustrating for a game of this magnitude to skip something so basic.

    overhyped and overrated. The game can be summed up as: fetch quest to cuscene with boring dialogue to fetch quest to another cutscene with boring dialogue. But yay we have 1000 different possibilities of quests with different boring dialogues and cutscenes so we have a masterpiece......yeah right.    … Expand

But still that expansion deserves a 10 like the main game, because if you wouldn't give that a 10 you actually would have to downgrade all other games by a lot to properly reflect the class of what CDProjekt created here compared to their competition.

    To the expansion. It's even faster paced than the main game and you practically have quest and enemies everywhere on the map. You could even argue it's a bit crowded. ;)

    The main story is great and fun like always. Highlights are Geralt's interaction with an old friend from the book.

    Also the inventory system has been revamped and for the first time in CdProjekt history is actually user friendly. :)

    Witcher 3 Blood and Wine is a great conclusion to Geralt's story although story is better than base game it is still not better than Hearts of Stone which is my favorite but still it is great it is bigger has more content and funny characters.

    One of the best expansion packs made in the last decade. It easily eclipses most full blown productions of 2016, and i seriously believe if it could actually be considered viable for GOTY 2016 status despite being an expansion, it would win many awards. If you own Witcher 3, which you should, then buying this is a no brainer.

    You can truly feel how much care they have put in to this final instalment in the Witcher 3 saga, and they could not have wrapped it    Every second of Blood & Wine is rich with beautiful scenery, superb voice acting and as always, a phenomenal story. I can wholeheartedly say it's worth the £16, and if you manage to get it for less you will almost feel like you've robbed the developers.

I will say however that for maximum appreciation, play it after you have completed the main story. I loved getting a vineyard for the witcher to lay his head down and store his stuff. I would score the main game 9 and this dlc 10. A fantastic dlc at a very high standard. (I preferred this to Heart of Stone-which was quite dark)… Expand

    I'm giving this a rare perfect score not necessarily because this expansion itself was absolutely perfect, but because we as a gaming community truly need more beautiful games and DLC such as this!

    What a fantastic way to finish off The Witcher 3; lots of cool new stuff to try, fantastic characters and stories, lots of new quests and missions to try out as well as a few secrets and    I'm giving this a rare perfect score not necessarily because this expansion itself was absolutely perfect, but because we as a gaming community truly need more beautiful games and DLC such as this!

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Really enjoyed the movie like qualities in this game, the rich visuals and soundtracks and the excellent characters, plots and dialogues. What could be better than watching Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings, than actually taking part in your own adventure?

    What did annoy me the most was the relationship elements of the plot, I got stitched up after sleeping with both Yennefer and Triss and then Ciri died and the game blamed it on my poor choices and made me feel bad Its a game, with dragons and magic so why can't I wander around telling a few hot girls that I love them and end up with a threesome, and be protective and lame with my daughter and still get a happy ending?

    The game is called Witcher 3 not Perfect Boyfriend or Perfect Father 3, someone needs to tell the woman that wrote those plot choices into the game that guys want to have an enjoyable experience not be punished for their perceived attitudes towards women when they are messing around in a fantasy game.

    The other thing that annoyed me is all the time-wasting, running around, collecting hordes of complete worthless junk, the story makes the game and the rest is really just boring filler, they need to make the stuff outside of the awesome main story-line more arcade like and more streamlined.

    When you say there is 90 hours of playtime, the moments that stand out are maybe a tenth of that with a few epic ones and the rest just filler, so not sure a game that wastes this much time is a good thing.

    The story bits were awesome, I would love to see a more fast paced game with fast arcade style fight scenes in between plots and dialogue choices that allow to the player to create their own fantasies rather than be tested and rewarded or punished against the code of the author of the script.

    Most epic game I ever played, and i played many. It brings a sense of the end of the trilogy, which is also sad. I end up with ~ 270 hours of game play. Best aspect of game are story telling, many characters that you will enjoy and great open world.

    This Dlc is amazing... stories... the main and the side quests are well written.

    Graphics aren't that great, story is boring, and combat is horrendous. Combat is really where the game falls down, more than anything. It's clunky, all about rolling everywhere, and doesn't really have any strategy involved.

The characters you encounter are well written and engagement, and much of the activities to be had are quite fun. This expansion also features a full length soundtrack, which further immerses you into the escapist heaven of the Witcher series.

    All-in-all, this expansion deserves an honest 10/10. In all my years of PC gaming, this expansion has reached a milestone, and set a bar so high that I doubt any other developer can reach in a long time.    … Expand

There are new monsters to defeat which require varying tactics. That was fun. The addition of "Mutating" abilities and grandmaster armor are more than just cosmetic changes and token collectables. They provide a changeThis expansion drifts away from the tight narrative of Heart of Stone. With the new region of Toussaint there is more exploration and monster hunting akin to the base game. There are new monsters to defeat which require varying tactics. That was fun. The addition of "Mutating" abilities and grandmaster armor are more than just cosmetic changes and token collectables. They provide a change to the base gameplay experience. There are a few bandit bases with swarms of higher level enemies where these boosts are vital on higher difficulties. The region itself is beautiful, and despite swarming with dangerous creatures is some how more laid back than the base game. You get a house. Your decorating this house is limited to choosing a few paintings and deciding what swords/armor go where. Still more satisfying than Skyrm's home building DLC. More fitting to this universe as well. Some of the quests in this expansion blew me away. After the main questline diverges the first quest on either side is amazing (going into the fantasy book or meeting the elder vampire). Overall I found it to be a fitting end to the witcher 3 experience. Which given how high the bar was set before, is really spectacular.… Expand

    Blood Wine features a new environment, story and challenges never seen in the vanilla game. New enemies spice up combat and force you to develop new strategies. Touissaint has a beautiful lush landscape, especially compared to the swamps and marshes of Velan.
    In short Blood&Wine offers easily another 20+ hours into your game and it is arguably better than the vanilla game.

    I had a strong impression with the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt one of the best games I've ever played, and again the development company and the witcher 3 again surprised me because blood and wine DLC is too good, I think it is better than the original wild hunt, a DLC game attractive for everyone to spend money to buy it, I believe so .

    -Difficulty is still to easy for me. I played the original game and first DLC on max difficulty and beat it almost without deaths. It's a little bit more hard than original game because of new enemies, but still too easy.
    So, Blood and Wine is one of the best DLC's in the history of videogames, it's worth it's money. I am really upset that B&W is last DLC, I would buy one more. Thank you, CDPR! Love you!    … Expand

    Definitely the best RPG game of the year "The Witcher 3" kinda spoiled the last impression with B&W. Vampires in this game contradict the canon and good sense. However, CDR did a great job creating Witcher atmosphere and I really enjoyed the last few hours with Geralt. So, it's 710, but +1 as I'm huge fan of the series. Srry.

    The worst thing one could say about Blood and Wine is that the story-arch is not as strong as some others in the main game. That's complaining on the highest of levels though, if you enjoyed The Witcher 3, you'll enjoy this just as much - I completely adore the main game and was pleasantly surprised at the amount and quality of additional adventure I was getting with this.

    10/10 If I could I would give it a 11 or 12, possibly a 13. The true meaning of a DLC, not the cheap thing you might find in other places. A complete new set of adventures and a face lift of the entire game. Really amazing. Was kind of sad in finishing the best game I will probably play in my life.

    I suggest to play on the highest difficulty for challenging gameplay if you are DS veteran like me(you will die). :)

Graphics is one of the best in 2015, storyline is very good, this storyline about Witcher find Chiri (girl, which learn in Witcher School), Blood and Wine made this game is better, but Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is very amazing too, gameplay is very good, interesting action and quest, very good, best game of 2015 and best DLC of 2016 .     With new location (it's not Velen/Novigrad again, like in Hearts of Stone), this is like a new game.

    The Witcher has always been a slightly overrated series that has solid gameplay and a decent story with its fair share of issues, such as its weak combat system and a somewhat discombobulated storyline. With the Blood and Wine DLC however, everything has changed. It's the very best combination of magnificent moods, spectacular stories, fantastic voice acting, and a grandiose soundtrack all set in a wondrous new locale. In the modern day of freemium games, CDPR has created a gem of a DLC that the world may never see its equal for a very long time.

    Don't let the DLC part fool you, this game can, and should stand plenty on its own.

    They should launch one of these expansions every 6 months or so. On par with the original game witcher 3. Maybe even better. Probably better.

    Bottom line is: you need to get blood and wine.

    CDPR did a great job with this game, and with the expansions. The importance of a believable and immersive story-line and accompanying cinematics cannot be underestimated. The Witcher series will be sorely missed.

    Wine, magic mushrooms, talking to horses, lovely landscapes, excellent story line (vampires), improved gaphics, interesting new mutagen upgrades (reminds me of the original witcher game) and many new quests and things to discover, a brilliant soundtrack and highly optimized performance. This is not a "DLC", this is a true Add-On with a lot of content.

    Blood & Wine is yet another excellent expansion pack for Witcher 3. There is a ton of new content, a beautiful zone to explore, and an engaging, unpredictable story.

    The additions of talent-like mutations is a much-needed breathe of fresh air, and the new grandmaster witcher gear gives you a way to further improve your mastercrafted armor. The only reason I won't give this a 10 is    Blood & Wine is yet another excellent expansion pack for Witcher 3. There is a ton of new content, a beautiful zone to explore, and an engaging, unpredictable story.

    Look, people, I have always been a Nintendo guy, as Nintendo games have always been my favorite ones, mostly the Zelda series. I think I have played The Witcher 3 a lot more than my favorite Zelda games, and that is saying a lot. This game delivers a unique sense of immersion in a videogame, a quality I hold among the most important features in a videogame. I think I have played The Witcher 3 a lot more than my favorite Zelda games, and that is saying a lot. This game delivers a unique sense of immersion in a videogame, a quality I hold among the most important features in a videogame. The quests are well crafted, the characters and dialogues are amazing, the combat system is clever and very flexible... I don't think there will ever be an experience quite as fulfilling as The Witcher 3. This game is just THAT good. This is a benchmark for what a videogame needs to be in its essence.

    Best RPG/Adventure game released so far. Its fun to play, fun to craft and look for treasures, the story is excellent, the dialogs are really nice, even if you are advanced on the games, a few enemies may kill you.
    My only complain is that low level enemies doesn't get better when you advance on experience, IMHO you should never face a enemy which is below your level, so that way it would    Best RPG/Adventure game released so far.     Also I would advice to try the mods, I made more sense of the game when I got a mod to update the game a bit, so the merchants would pay a bit more for my good and have more money (35/100) and the monsters would always throw loot, I found the game more fun in that way and be able to get most of the recipes I found from the merchants.    … Expand

    It's really, really good. But it also has to deal with some of the Witcher's shortcomings more often than the main game. The controls are just not as precise or responsive as in other games of this genre. That said, Blood and Wine is still worth playing and you will not get an expansion that offers so much bang for the buck anywhere.

    Supplement turned out very beautiful and interesting in comparison with hearts of stone which was all grim as that put on the 10/10 did not notice when the wealth is not passed.

    The Witcher 3: Blood & Wine is an exceptional expansion that reignites a sense of wonder even for players who have put in hundreds of hours so far. The breadth and variety of all that’s included stands stronger than many full-priced sequels. As a twenty-dollar add-on, it’s absolutely worthwhile.
