Oct 10, 2019The Wild Eight is a great addition to the survival genre. With some creative storytelling, some underlying mysteries and an incredible progression and crafting system, it's a title that can keep players engaged. Some cumbersome camera work and by extension some item collection issues do hamper the experience and can break the immersion. However despite a few mechanical flaws, The Wild Eight is a solid offering for new and veteran players alike.

Dec 6, 2019There’s little doubt that seasoned foragers will find the survival aspects easier to manage but for those people, there are more satisfying experiences on offer elsewhere with survival components as the main selling point. Despite a story that was beginning to heat up, The Wild Eight ultimately leaves you feeling cold.
