It's one of the first game that I think are using VR potential the right way. The game is fast-paced, has quick competitive rounds, but at the same time it requires you to use the time you are given properly and involves tactical thinking whether what and when to use.

Insomniac games has created a wonderful steam punk wizarding world for people to enjoy, and despite planned updates expanding the content, it ultimately feels a little shallow. For a game that is, for all intents and purposes, Steam Punk Wizard Pong, there is a lot to remember when it comes to gestures and powers. While I like this game, the overall fun factor pales in comparison to the other major Touch launch title. Expand

The Unspoken demands attention to timing and strategy without being too stressful, and has creative spell variety without being overwhelming. Each spell is conjured with a unique, but totally natural-feeling motion that’s aided by near-flawless tracking from the Touch controllers, except when teleporting between platforms is involved. And even though there isn’t a huge amount of variety in AI enemies and maps, what’s here is a special kind of VR magic.

Like any multiplayer-centric game, a little extra solo content goes a long way. While I didn't have any major issues finding matches during my review session (a lot of people seem to be playing it after getting their Touch remotes, as this is the marquee game for it), one day, I probably will. Not only is the premise a little wacky in the first place but little is done to characterize the universe it's in -- so it's going to be a really hard sell when the Touch is $200 on its own.
