DevonT.Apr 10, 2002Great expansion pack. If you like "The Sims," you will like this. Also adds features to the neighbor play mode. But it will cost your sim a bundle to go on vacation.

SteveE.Jun 22, 2002This is a great game and deserves at least 8 or 9 out of 10 but the massive load up times when you have all expansions and plenty of extras downloaded from the net are terrible. This system is a P4 2gb geforce 4 4600i and 712mb ram .. i expect better it plays like there's a bad memory leak.

L.FiteApr 18, 2002Vacation isn't as good as "Hot Date" but it's OK.

MafiaGuyNov 3, 2003Does not really seem as if the Sims are on a vacation - more like they are moving house...that's all.

One facet worth mentioning is that although I was using the same exact machine as I had for the previous Sims games, I actually had a crisper performance on my system compared to when "Hot Date" had last been played.

Unlike previous expansions it doesn't pack any real innovations. Looks like we'll have to wait for The Sims Online for that. [GamesMaster]

Players are going to love the slew of new interpersonal interactions available to their Sims as much as they love the new objects.
