    The Sims go more social in The Sims 4: Get Together.

    Get Together was announced for a November release a few months back but the dev team decided to push it back to get a little more done and how does it fair? The main selling point of this DLC was the whole new "beautiful city of Windenberg" and "clubs".     The main selling point of this DLC was the whole new "beautiful city of Windenberg" and "clubs". The clubs are a neat little gimmick where you can set up any sim in them (some are invite only requiring you to get to know someone in them beforehand and others are immediate join). The game comes preloaded with a nice choice of clubs to join and if none of those please you or your sim, you can create your own in a very nice, advanced set up system where you can base it off of age, skills, careers, hobbies, etc. Each pre-existing club comes with some people whom you can meet and hang out with and start a web of connections with as well. This whole pack comes with a plethora of new social interactions. And unlike Get to Work, the venues where you meet and hang out are actual venues where you can visit. In Get to Work, the career places were existent but unable to be visited unless at work, if you know what I mean.

    Now I haven't explored all of the clubs yet, but my sim is in the DJ and Dancing club and I find this extension to be fantastic! My sim took over the club and became the leader and I plan to eventually do the same with some of the others or ones I decide to create. The new text message system makes things more realistic and even with the update, I see the sims being more realistic and sophisticated. They're no longer as robotic as those in Sims 2 and Sims 3.

    Windenberg, the heavily advertised new community I found was somewhat disappointing. The entertainment area, where a lot of the club hang outs are, is really neat and fun but the residential lots were somewhat disappointing. There are only 2 empty lots and the rest require you to replace existing houses. The architectural style on some of the lots I find can be quite polarizing as they are mainly European styled buildings and with that comes a lot of European styled objects in build mode. I haven't explored the whole city yet but I give that aspect so far a 7/10. I'll have to edit some of it for sure. The maze in the haunted house is quite a neat addition though. And along with that comes a new lot size: 64x64 (and you thought 50x50 was large!). I'm ready to see what others come up with for that on the origin community. Windenberg could've been a bit larger and a little more empty, imo, but I do love the new lot size.

    The build mode/cas items are great though and there are tons of new items to use. They range in all different directions: European, modern, casual, formal, etc. They're all over the place and exciting. If there was one place that this expansion excelled, it was certainly the number of items for sure.

    The DJ and Dancing skills added were a nice new addition and your sims can do more than just the Carlton dance thankfully but I see just that aspect as being a free add-on or perhaps even in the base game, but I won't complain about new additions. It's welcome and honestly it is a lot of fun.

    Now the big question: is it worth it? For me, I say yes. It's quite a hefty price tag, but you know Sims expansions are always and have always been $40 since the beginning of time so that's to be expected. But it depends on what you're looking for. If you want your sims to be more realistic and engaging and have more social cliques and sophistication, then you'll fall in love. If you want more expanded linear gameplay with an agenda, then you'll be disappointed. Overall I'm happy with this expansion and I'm glad I don't feel ripped off as I was afraid I would feel that way. But I give it an 8/10 just from the less than satisfactory neighborhood (especially after all the hype and advertising), but it's still a very welcome addition to a game that is blossoming more and more each day that passes. This would be a definite 10/10 if it were a $20 game pack but it's still worth its $40 price tag if it's what you're looking for with more social and engaging sims.    … Expand

    The sims 4 Get Together has brought in an entirely new element to the game. Never before have getting together with friends to go places, do things, and see things been so easy and SO fun. The new world that comes with Get Together is absolutely GORGEOUS. They have really spoiled us simmers with this expansion!     The club system is the most flexible thing to EVER be added to the series of any installment. You can create so many combinations and possibilities. The dance animations are fantastic. This expansion truly livens up the game more than ever and makes the sims feel more unique and different from each other just like people are in real life. A very stellar expansion!

    I am very impressed by this addon. I have joined the franchise in the middle of TS2' life cycle so I can say about myself that I am not a newcomer. That being said: EA delivers here an experience that truly does justice to their self-proclaimed "you rule"-tagline. Windenburg, the clubs themselves, the new lots, new cas and build or buy mode objects are a product in a class of its own.I am very impressed by this addon.     Would have given it 10/10 if it was not for minor bugs. The clubs sometimes don't perform certain rules and the autonomy seems glitchy at times. But this is nothing they can't fix with a patch.

    I have literally always felt ripped off by EA after purchasing an addon for their series, here I don't. The town Windenburg is absolutelly stunning and full of little details, the club feature is the bist thing this franchise has seen and the amount of objects is insane. I love the new venues we got like café, bar or discotheque. Another person was right because he said we got apartments which were very primitive, we got broken sims routing, we got a terrbible celebrity system which made that everybody was a star after a couple of game sessions and night clubs without any sims. Considering this I can only give Get Together 10/10.… Expand

    It's the best exp. pack. ever. I bought it after LGR review. Wowww! World is very beautiful and the rest too. Sandbox elements like never before. Ok, so you like The Sims 4 then you NEED this. Don't listen to the haters! They are awkward. Haters gonna hate :PPP

    The Sims 4 Get Together follows Get to Work's trend of providing both worthwhile and entertaining content. Get Together goes a step further, however, by improving the core gameplay experience of gathering Sims together with the new clubs feature. In addition, the new dance and DJ traits and world of Windenburg round off a great package of content.

    I Can't live without Get Together!, it's essential pack , The New World is the best Sim's World i ever seen!, and the Clubs are a Incredible useful Tool, The CAS parts are Great and the Objects too, best pack in The Sims 4 so far!

    Sims 4 get together has a beautiful world and is the largest in the game. The club system is a good addition and can bring so much to different aspects of gameplay. However, other than that the gameplay is fairly limited but still a strong addition to the Sims 4!

    worth it if it goes down to a price of a gamepack as that's what it is.

    The good: it's all about the clubs and the clubs gameplay is very in depth. You can make a club that's all about being pregnant, or using children to do your chores, or peeing in the bushes. It's very specific what you can demand from people joining your club and what you can do in it. It's a very well made system    worth it if it goes down to a price of a gamepack as that's what it is.

    The bad: it's JUST that. No restaurants. No vampires. No new achievements or collectibles even. No new careers despite there being two new skills. It's just clubs. Which screams a gamepack to me. I feel like all the finishing touches are missing form this one.    … Expand

    DLC is mostly **** and EA is great at giving us **** to be far you don't have to get the DLC is complete the game ( you can't complete the game) but it still fells like EA just want some extra money.

    This expansion pack is not complete at all, the clubs are not the best idea, but the good thing of this pack is the world, CAS, build mode and it doesn't have so much bugs

    Dessa vez eles acertaram mais que a expansão anterior, pois essa será com certeza muito mais utilizada na jogabilidade, além das baladas cheias, dos novos tipos de lotes, DJs e muitas outras novidades, traz uma linda cidade muito bem detalhada chamada Windenburg, quanto mais você explora    "Junte-se à Galera" tem como proposta principal os clubes, baladas, e o prometido mundo de Windenburg.
    Dessa vez eles acertaram mais que a expansão anterior, pois essa será com certeza muito mais utilizada na jogabilidade, além das baladas cheias, dos novos tipos de lotes, DJs e muitas outras novidades, traz uma linda cidade muito bem detalhada chamada Windenburg, quanto mais você explora ela, mais você nota a inspiração que os produtores tiveram na Europa, e a cidade ficou perfeita em termos de ambientação, mas a cidade ficou cheia de informação, um distrito de um jeito, outro de outro, parece que a cada distrito que vamos é uma cidade diferentes, eles poderiam ter se organizado mais.Os clubes são divertidos, com boas opções, porém poderiam ter explorado mais já que esse é o tema principal.As baladas são boas, cheias (o que não tínhamos no The Sims 3 Caindo Na Noite) mas quando coloco um sim para fazer alguma batalha de dança ou o clube vai apresentar uma dança eles acabam não conseguindo pois já está cheio de sims, eles devem corrigir isso urgentemente.
    The Sims 4:Junte-se à Galera é uma boa expansão, me diverti muito com ela e tenho certeza que vou utilizar muito em meu jogo, mas ela tem erros, erros que podem sim terem correção, e isso só depende dos produtores, eles poderiam entregar essa expansão em perfeitas condições.    … Expand

    Thank you for the clubs and the beautiful city, as well as the addition without the game you can say the gameplay. The first addition and immediately came out badly.

    There Is A New destination in Get Together. And That's it. Clubs aren't fun and extra skills are just a waste of time.

    Ultimately, Get Together is a strong expansion for a pretty non-impactful base game and lifts it as a whole to the standard I would have expected in the first place.

    Get Together will no doubt be an essential purchase to those who are fully invested in The Sims 4. But if you are looking for something to add some deep meaningful content, then save your cash.
