Mar 9, 2025The Sims 25th Birthday Bundle is a nostalgic blast to the past that gives newer players the chance to explore more options beyond the third game, as well as offers older players the opportunity to relive their childhood. Compared to the conveniences of modern entries, some of the older titles might feel frustrating to navigate. It’s almost like a metaphor for real life.

Feb 13, 2025All in all, both Legacy collections are an eye-opening reminder that we once got far more bang for our buck with older Sims titles. While the two re-releases aren’t perfect in terms of bugs, missing content and a few technical quirks, both games remain as fun as they ever were and the benefit of having new, legal ways to purchase them on modern digital game store-fronts cannot be understated. I really hope EA pays attention to fan feedback to these re-releases and learns some lessons from the past to improve the value of future patches, content and technical enhancements.

Feb 10, 2025The Sims Legacy Collections is exactly as you remember the games, chaos, bugs, glitches and all. The Sims 1 and 2 are iconic for a reason and are still just as entertaining 25 years later as the day they came out. For the true Sims lover who can accept a few crashes, they are definitely worth playing for the nostalgic feeling, even though the technical state of both games is not optimal.
