    For anybody interested in this game, please keep in mind that these game isn t as similar as any of suda other games considering that this one focuses more on story rather than gameplay. The game is divided between two storylines, transmitter, in which you play as a mute detective who tries solve the mystery surrounding a legendary serial killer, and placebo were as you play as aFor anybody interested in this game, please keep in mind that these game isn t as similar as any of suda other games considering that this one focuses more on story rather than gameplay. The game is divided between two storylines, transmitter, in which you play as a mute detective who tries solve the mystery surrounding a legendary serial killer, and placebo were as you play as a freelance journalist who tries to fill in the missing pieces that were not shown in transmitter. During the adventure sequences, you move your character by clicking on the m symbol and you use or talk by clicking on the C symbol, it might get frustrating to get used to, so beware. To conclude, i believe that even after many years, The Silver case still holds up, even with its numerous flaws which include the clunky gameplay, the sometimes repetitive dialogue and the placebo storyline feeling less interesting with the exception of its protagonist, etc There still something interesting about its complex plot and strange characters that will leave you thinking for quite a while.… Expand

    The Silver Case is an utterly fantastic game with mindbending writing. Hard to believe the original is 20 years old. It still feels current today

    Very influential, an important game that deserves western attention.
    It is incredibly immersive fall into a web of conspiracy and paranoia, a fall very well written.
    Kill the Past is one of the most sensational franchises ever, is a dense experience, and this game gives you that.
    Recommended even for those who don't like the format.

    The Silver Case is a game that is worth bringing your attention to. The writing is fantastic and sometimes bring forth some really good existential questioning and argumentation throughout its play-through. It gets you wondering how deep humanity could dive into crime and if its legitimacy can somewhat be rationalized.     Eu acho que nunca tive uma experiência tão boa narrativamente, The Silver Case é uma obra-prima e mesmo que sua jogabilidade não seja lá das melhores, ele acerta em todos os outros aspectos. Sumio e Kusabi são dois dos meus personagens favoritos da mídia em geral depois de jogar isso, todos os outros também são incríveis como Morishima, Chizuru, Morikawa, etc. A trilha sonora é impecável e obviamente, a história. Meu Deus, essa história é incrível, tudo começando como uma investigação criminal comum e acabando em uma viagem dentro de um conceito do que é ser um assassino, metáforas e intrigas. Simplesmente um dos melhores jogos que eu já joguei na minha vida, estou muito animado para jogar Flower, Sun and Rain e 25th Ward alguma hora, mas por enquanto, preciso descansar e digerir o tanto de informação que esse jogo me deu.

    Brilliant writing and atmosphere make this game incredible. It can be hard to understand at first, but as you get deeper you'll learn more and become even more interested in this world. Huge recommend, just need to have some patience.

    I don't understand why this game got high ratings. While there are other games that should have high scores, the reason why this game has high scores may be that it is overrated by its fans. But I think 60-70 points is the highest possible score average for this game.

    Perhaps best left locked in the past, The Silver Case is not worth looking into unless you REALLY like visual novels and Suda51 and have a lot of patience.

    A visual novel with a good story, but a bad rhythm, no voices, and poor gameplay. Like Deadly Premonition, only the most hardcore gamers may enjoy it.
