    Very interesting idea, fitting music, hard puzzles, but the game is really boring.

    So cool game for some evenings. This 2D-3D feel follow you for the all game. Transitions between levels also is so good. About puzzles - something near normal. It is interesting, but not amazing. I can say that I like the Pedestrian for special feeling and say thanks for all emotions that it gave me.

    What a fantastic puzzle game. Innovative puzzle mechanics and amazing visuals and sound design make it hard to put down. Controls feel very tight as well, which is important during the few bits where a bit of platforming is involved.

    But don't just take my word for it - they have a demo on Steam, GOG and itch.io!

    The Pedestrian is a puzzle game very much in the vein of The Witness. The puzzles are somewhat similar, as is just the feel of wandering through a world where you encounter only puzzles. It is much more linear though, you aren't freely moving through a world of puzzles to solve in any order you choose, instead you are on rails (literally at times) solving puzzles in order to progress.The Pedestrian is a puzzle game very much in the vein of The Witness. It is much more linear though, you aren't freely moving through a world of puzzles to solve in any order you choose, instead you are on rails (literally at times) solving puzzles in order to progress.

    In The Pedestrian you are a stick figure who must find your way through signs to progress. The signs are the puzzles, and you must move them around and alter the connections between the signs to solve the puzzles. This is a hard game to describe! Suffice it to say that the basic puzzle concept in this game is fresh and works very well, and they are on a pleasing challenge level. They seem impossible at first, but after 5 or maybe 10 minutes I was solving them all and it felt so rewarding.

    The game does a great job of onboarding. It has systems that are complicated to the point that I am not even going to try to explain them here, yet it teaches them to you in a very comprehensible way without any text. It's quite brilliant design really. It also has a brilliant menu system that is a pleasure to use, it's very conceptualized and fits in with the game world and even gameplay, yet it's easy to use. I want whoever designed this game to design my car, my phone, everything!

    I think anyone who's enjoys puzzle games will like this one. It never really blew me away like Gorogoa a few years ago, another puzzle classic this one reminded me of, but it's a very solid experience for gamers like me enjoy nothing more than a nice puzzle to sink their teeth into.    … Expand

    It's more like art than a game.
    I enjoyed this clever puzzle game that skillfully interweaves its concise puzzles with the game world. This clever game is more than worth a few hours for twenty euros. But on the other hand, it's only a few hours for twenty euros.
    I would really recommend it on a sell because it's really good title but the price may be a little bit too high for many people.

    great innovative puzzle game that slowly gets more complex. Eventually though it does get repetitive and eventually i lost the motivation to continue doing the same puzzle but in a different form. The novelty of it eventually runs out of steam.

    Super boring as an actual game. The puzzles are simple and it seems like they have put all their effort into make it look pretty than making a decent game. I must say the 10/10 reviews on here are remarkably suspect. If this is a 10/10 game then what is BOTW?

    Cool and slick, and a wealth of ideas for puzzles based around the seemingly constraining subject of pedestrian road signs.
    The Pedestrian is surprisingly addictive and engaging, despite it superficially appearing to be repetitive puzzling,with a nice smooth learning curve that never ends up with the puzzles being too oblique or difficult.
    Graphics are snappy and intelligent, a nice    Cool and slick, and a wealth of ideas for puzzles based around the seemingly constraining subject of pedestrian road signs.
    The Pedestrian is surprisingly addictive and engaging, despite it superficially appearing to be repetitive puzzling,with a nice smooth learning curve that never ends up with the puzzles being too oblique or difficult.
    Graphics are snappy and intelligent, a nice soundtrack, and a subtle shift in the final puzzle set that is genius.
    Maybe a bit on the short side, but well worth the pounds in my opinion.
    One of my top puzzle games of the last few years.

    Game is pretty much perfect for what it sets out to do. Is it going to be absolutely perfect for you? No mainly because it never gets extremely hard and you might not be into puzzles but if you're ok for what it aims to do I see no flaws (and I very rarely give a 10).

    Всем доброе время суток, буду краток. Игра довольно интересна, но со временем геймплей наскучивает. За то задний фон хорошо проработан, т.е. когда ты проходить головоломку можно отвлечься и посмотреть на то, что происходит сзади. Я закончил. Всем удачи.    Не знаю точно, имею ли я право писать данный отзыв на русском языке, но в принципе...

    Fantastic puzzle game. It never felt frustrating, the music is super chill and the whole game is a voyage.

    I loved every minute of it.

At its heart, it is reasonably stylish puzzle platformer, with quite decent art for an indie game. It is a short game – perhaps four hours long – but even at that, maybe it is a little too long.

    The core of the game is that you are a little pedestrian symbol who can move around and jump between platforms on signs, but you can only jump so high. You can also rearrange the signs that you are on, and draw connections between doors and ladders – a ladder going up must match with one going down, and a door going left must match with one going right. Redrawing these connections resets everything, but there are some puzzle elements which allow for persistence.

    It is these other puzzle elements which serve to mix things up a bit, but unfortunately, the game’s core mechanics really don’t end up being all that variable – you just keep doing the same things, over and over again, with something new tacked on, but that new thing often is just adding a slight complication. Some of these are more interesting and clever than others, but a lot are just kind of there.

    The result, sadly, is that the game ends up feeling a bit repetitive by the end, despite its short length. It was okay, but not great, and while the very final level manages to mix things up and add a bit of novelty, it wasn’t enough to put it over the top. Overall, I can’t quite recommend it, but it isn’t bad; it is just kind of okay, but a bit ephemeral.    … Expand

    Loved the aesthetics. Absolutely beautiful. Puzzles hurt my brain. First puzzle game I solved completely on my own, so take that as you will.

    In the begining of the game, our character starts into a signboard, and player's city adventure begins with that signboard. Game's goal is traveling around the city in a linear way and    The pedestrian, is a platformer puzzle game.
    Game's core gameplay mechanics and even the puzzle design is a bit too much simple. Game's whole point is art design and some beautiful visuality ideas.

During this journey, game present us some joyful puzzle plartformer level's and a closer look to city parts.

    퍼즐게임으로써 가져야 할 기본기는 탄탄하다. 하지만 짧은 플레이 타임에도 지루함이 느껴지는 것이 아쉽다.

    This game has a good basic for a puzzle game. But it is sad about boring in spite of a short playtime.

    The design is beautiful and the platform style is charming by itself, but the game expands the gameplay a bit too much.

    Somehow I felt like trying random things at times and that is not good for a puzzle game which the main point is make you feel smart with few hints.

    Unfortunately I was too tired of the puzzles at the very end and decided to see the rest on Youtube. And I don't regret it...

    Very fun game; the levels start off easy but get more difficult as new mechanics are introduced, but the puzzles never feel "unfair." It's always nice to get that little hit of dopamine after figuring out a puzzle you've been stuck on for a while. Stellar ending too!

    I don’t think that The Pedestrian has a grand point to make, and that’s okay. Even without a message or an emotional hook, this is a beautiful, fiendishly clever little puzzler that surprised me at every turn, and that’s more than enough.
