    One of the best indie games I've ever played. The visuals are atmospheric, let's say it's 3D Pixelart, never seen anything similar to it. The game reminds me the best old-school adventures and survival games from my childhood, like the first Alone in the Dark and Resident Evil. Highly recommended to every gamer!

    Really hard puzzles and awesome references to epic games. Unique atmosphere with a mixture of horror and humor.

    The Padre is an experience that is undoubtedly not for everyone. While the detailed and blocky voxel-based visuals are pleasant to look at, it feels like the game has a bit of an identity crisis. Most of the eye-winking charm works while most of the horror and referential elements don’t.     Amazing, the story and the graphics are great. The game has some comic side which make the gameplay more enjoyable.

    The Padre pays homage to genre-defining games like Alone in the Dark and Resident Evil (especially the former) but it reveals a bit too much in the safety of worshipping these games. Putting that aside, it's an enjoyable horror adventure overall. If you've ever wondered what a more "modern" version of the classic 1992 Infogrames title would be like, then the Padre might be right up your alley.
