    I generally don't enjoy kinetic novels like this where there is little in the way of choice. The game's pag on itch.io advertised that it had a world worth exploring and they were right. I found myself more engrossed in the story of The Mind's Eclipse than I do many other visual novels. You are free to explore a dead world and try to make sense of how it got that way.     There are obvious flaws here and there, and I would have loved to see more interactivity or animations, but The Mind’s Eclipse is a compelling tale that’s worth experiencing. Just make sure you stay away from all those pesky nanites.
