    Just an amazing strategy game. I only wish that they had improved the war of the ring section further.

    Sinceramente no sé porqué el User Score está tan bajo, es un juegazo, uno de los mejores RTS que hay sin siquiera tocar el fanatismo por Tolkien

    Absolute gem of a game!! Highly recommend playing and investing time into. It's probably one of the best RTS games ever created, only reason why I gave it 9 out of 10 is because I like number 1 a little bit better, but it doesn't mean this game is bad in any way. Love the army creation, the new factions and how fluid gameplay is. Love it!

    El mejor juego de es estrategia en tiempo real que he jugado, con doblajes estupendos y fieles a las películas, naciones equilibradas unas entre ellas, una banda sonora exquisita, la guerra del anillo es super entretenida y la campaña muy buena

    I purchased this game over 10 years ago and enjoy returning to it every year. Accessible mechanics and varied units. The graphics are very good as for this year of release (2006). The soundtrack (taken from the movie) plays the biggest role. As a Tolkien fan I am very satisfied with this game.

    An even better sequel to the LOTR BFME 1, improved weapons, improved graphics and types of units, you can even create your own custom made main character

    wow toute un bon jeux avec une belle campagne et un game play qui peut rivalisé avec les autres jeux du même style. mieux que le 1 celui-ci a toucher mon coeur étant plus jeune. malheureusement imposible a trouver dfe nos jour sur les serveurs de EA ou Steam

    An OUTRAGEOUS GAME, A **** MASTERPIECE of a strategy game from one of my favourite film franchises, The Lord of the Rings. When i was a child this game blew my mind and i was really happy with it, enjoying a lot.

    For this type of game, it was very well. The only problem was graphics it was also good but not best.

    Love this game and it's a shame that is no longer available to buy....

    This is a great game as well but the whole story of the 2 campaigns have been made up. A good thing of this game is that you can play with many different kinds of armies and also that you can build wherever you want. One bad thing is that voices in Spanish are not the same that in the movie. At least in the first game most of them were the real ones so it was better in this aspect.

    One of the most captivating real life strategy game of the past decade. Packed with visual marvels, and awesome immersive detailed world. This game has the potential, of being the next Star Craft. Simple and easy controls, but that is why it's for any gamer. Even today I find myself going back to this game, when getting bored of other genres of games.     Was great with friends especially if you knew how to operate the map builder. The army units and upgrades were fun, to watch units clash. The Castle sieges were nothing but a blast. Elves were maybe the best at taking out flying units and Uroks were best swords, Men had best catipults if I remember right( and pikes) Than Orcs had the cheapest infantry, and could lag out the game.     This RTS went deeper into tolkiens lore with the campaign and units from its predecessor. One of my favorite strategy games of all time. Its a lot of fun controlling great battles of middle earth and seeing who plays out as victor.

    Great game for Lord of the Rings fans, not that great RTS. The online servers used to be very unstable and the balance... well, there was no balance. The graphics were great, can't deny that. What wasn't all that great was the post release support. It took forever for a patch to come out that didn't really fix anything and soon after, support died all together.     The game itself has a fun campaign (not as good as the first BFME game as they made it linear) good gameplay and excellent music and artwork. SUCKS that EA discontinued the online version even though it was played regularly

    Perhaps lacking in originality or innovation, I find the gameplay itself to be simply outstanding. Aside from Starcraft, I haven't spent as much time in an RTS, replaying and replaying - most of that comes from the depth of material drawn from the films, giving one an immersive experience that I don't believe another LotR game has matched.

I have no idea what some of the people are talking about when they say it isn't original.     The Lord of the Rings, Battle for Middle-earth II, Is an Extremely good RTS game. That any RTS player should give a try. Its campaign is good good with voices and music. Outstanding game play I never get tired of going back and playing a match in multiplayer or even a little of campaign. With the Create a Hero and War of the Ring It gives more game play. The create a hero is Amazing IThe Lord of the Rings, Battle for Middle-earth II, Is an Extremely good RTS game. That any RTS player should give a try. Its campaign is good good with voices and music. Outstanding game play I never get tired of going back and playing a match in multiplayer or even a little of campaign. With the Create a Hero and War of the Ring It gives more game play. The create a hero is Amazing I would be sitting there making heroes with strategy's for each one, But sooner or later I would have 100 heroes and never use a majority of my strategy's. As the game is great go play it and if you don't like it then you aren't a fan of Lotr. Well thats fine but that dose not mean its not a great game. The balance is very good but still some mess ups there.… Expand

    While Battle for Middle Earth 2 has taken a step back from its more avant-garde predecessor, it's a welcome one. If it wasn't for the woefully sub-par AI, this game would earn an easy, unreserved recommendation. But rolling over the AI time and time again in single-player just gets old, and if you don't have the appetite for online play, you'll end up pushing it to the back of the drawer and hoping for a patch.
