Well, comparing this one with other adventures, i can only say it is pity it was not full 3d Game - it look like some professional Artbook. I would like to see it as realtime graphics, this would be one of the best styled sf games. ps. the cinematics are awsome. An advice to developers: please make the next game as action game with better story and gameplay than this adventure ;) !

Only for hardcore sci-fi and adventure game players. One of the few games where I had to use TWO walkthroughs to finish the game. This is a long game, and after awhile ... you just resort constantly to the walkthroughs ... knowing that some unrelated object or trivial encounter that couldn't be anticipated is stopping you from progressing. It's a shame, because a lot of effort was put into making this. Some uniquely creative thinking went into features such as a preview pic of the next room -- off screen. And there's no scrolling inventory! Unfortunately there was no basic check of: Does the plot hang together? Hotspots are very easy to locate, yet clicking that hotspot can be trying, and what to do can be completely obscure: it's schitzophrenic! Multiple walkthoughs are necessary, because different versions of the game were released, E.g., one where approaching a wall lights up the initial button to press, while the other does not! Well, that sort of thing leaves the player quite confused whether the game is suggesting they've missed something. Only if you like combing two walkthroughs for missed details are you likely to find this amusing. Toward the end, you just wish it was over. Expand

Bad, very , very bad . I can't believe the people responsible for the green light on this 'game' proudly display their names at the end. Seriously the "puzzles" don't follow any logical or engaging pattern , the "story" is so poorly intertwined with the mostly pointless 'running back and forth during random item/location combination' time-waster fluff that Bad, very , very bad . Seriously the "puzzles" don't follow any logical or engaging pattern , the "story" is so poorly intertwined with the mostly pointless 'running back and forth during random item/location combination' time-waster fluff that there is NO satisfying redemption to be found in I.o.T. gameplay . However teh art department did quite a nice job , and that smoke at the end of the zombie/soldier video was an excellent piece of work, otherwise this game would get a negative number for being absolute corporate "oh god I hate my job " complacency . Story line almost impossible to follow. Graphics are interesting, but definately not state of the art.

An above-average sci-fi adventure, but if you're fond of rollercoasters, join a different queue. [Aug 2008, p.71]
  2. As adventure games go, it is almost a sci-fi opus and it is intriguing to think that only a miniscule portion of the Perryverse has been plumbed.
  3. A pleasant surprise. The gameplay could use a little spice (some form of combat or other elements would liven things up nicely), but it's an impressive game - both visually and in terms of the expansive sci-fi universe laid out before you.
