A "glorious" adventure game like this is a must-play for any kind of adventurer, beginner or expert. The story is solid and well written, the mystery unfolds in a more and more interesting crescendo, the puzzles are funny and fair with the player, the gameplay is various and enjoyable, graphics are very detailed (with tons of animations!) and... this is just half-way to the end! :) WhatA "glorious" adventure game like this is a must-play for any kind of adventurer, beginner or expert. Damn near flawless despite the clear low budget the company had to work with (which you can clearly notice when comparing it to other point&click games like Deponia and Randal's Monday, in things like animations, special effects and user interface), it's an incredibly long one for a p&c adventure, which helps wrap the story around your head, none of the moments feel like filler, instead itDamn near flawless despite the clear low budget the company had to work with (which you can clearly notice when comparing it to other point&click games like Deponia and Randal's Monday, in things like animations, special effects and user interface), it's an incredibly long one for a p&c adventure, which helps wrap the story around your head, none of the moments feel like filler, instead it truly feels like a giant labour of love that the developers have masterfully executed in this precious game. Very entertaining and fun, like all the old-fashioned adventures. Character animations are super nice and puzzles are fair.

The frustration of one or two ambiguous puzzles can’t dampen one’s spirits for The Hand of Glory, a love letter to traditional point-and-click adventure games with its own sense of fun and wit.

A love letter to the sworn lovers of traditional point 'n' click adventure games. All of them should, in return, make sure to buy the game at full price, without waiting for it to be included in any kind of bundle, if they want to have the chance to play more games like The Hand of Glory in the future.

The Hand of Glory overflows with ideas. Not all of them are spot on, but that’s a risk you have to take when you want to do something that goes a little out of the classic schemes. The first impact is alienating because everything is not very homogeneous, from the graphics to the continuous change of register in the narration, but in the long run this strange alchemical formula works, thanks to a plot that turns towards decidedly unexpected territories and leaves the player with a giant cliffhanger, raising the hype for the second part of the game.
