    The Evil Within 2 redeemed the first one on every aspect, superior to any RE game in the last years, Shinji Mikami truly make things right this time .

    this is a good game but if you played the first game you will notice this game are less horror, darker and not that difficult on the normal difficulty. the big plus of the game is the story and the character development of Sebastian, where in the first game the story was more focused on the villain.

    O primeiro é muito bom.
    Esse ta dublado em pt-br, tem graficos bons.
    No inicio é bem legal, ate me lembrou o primeiro SIlent Hill, mas na metade do jogo o negocio fica meio estranho, parece que tem mais cutscenes do que gameplay.
    E a historia me parece ser menos interessante do que a do primeiro.

    This is one of the best games of survivor horror ever created! Great history , nice graphics and one of the best soundtracks for a horror game , actually one of my favorites games of all time

    - Story better than first game. Finally Seb become a really good character, he have senses and good Motivation.
    - Gameplay good too... More guns, interesting character's levelup. A tiny different monsters, but that not serious and not enough boss fights, but this fights really good. - Graphic - good for 2017. ...and of course this game really creppy! In total, we have    Awesome game!

    Классная игра, не пожалел проведя в ней 18 часов. Много тут плюсов в этой игре , но и минусы тоже есть которые в итоге сыграли свою роль на моей оценке. Начну с минусов. 1 не интересная система прокачки. После пару часов игры я в принципе не знал что качать , потому-что вся прокачка выглядела не интересно, либо же бесполезно, как к примеру ветка для прокачки стабильности прицела, ну типоКлассная игра, не пожалел проведя в ней 18 часов. После пару часов игры я в принципе не знал что качать , потому-что вся прокачка выглядела не интересно, либо же бесполезно, как к примеру ветка для прокачки стабильности прицела, ну типо блин, я и без неё хорошо стреляю)))Или ветка прокачки близкого боя, которая по итогу вообще не повлияла на нож, я все так же то с двух ударов выносил челиков, то с 6и) Оружие кроме магазина и дэмэджа в других ветках тоже проку нету качать. 2 Очень бесило много валяющихся *якобы мертвых* челиков, которых нельзя было раздавить или просто воткнуть нож в голову пока он не встал, нож вообще бесполезная тема, как я ранее сказал даже когда он был прокачен, он был никакой. 3. Затянутая концовка. Под конец я как-то сильно уже устал от игры, она казалось очень затянутой, + пиздец заебало бегать чуть ли не 5 глав без патронов и гениально было токо в одну главу вставлять 3 чела на которых literaly все патроны всаживал, да их конечно можно было и не убивать, но блин, они лутатся не давали никак, 2 чела так вообще нужны были чтобы скрафтить огнемет, который по итогу оказался залупой если честно.
    Теперь про плюсы.
    1. КастелАнус получился крутым персом, харизматичным , но кстати временами туповатым) 2.Атмосфера. Страшная, с красивыми видами, с мрачными и нагнетающими саундтреками, граммотно подобранные , не типичные скримеры, игра со стороны как хорор отличная и примерная. 3. Боссы и мобы крутые и необычные. 4. музыка найс. 5. Гриндилка не знаю почему но мне понравилась, я оббежал всю карту везде, даже на удивление понравилось заново лутать город второй раз. 6 Интересные резонансы через которые легко вникаешь в сюжет , + документы которые не лень читать. 7. Интересный сюжет, хоть местами и предсказуемый. 8. Интересно сделаны лутбоксики, медсестра, мини игры.
    Хорошая игра, жаль до 9и всетаки не дотянула, хотя очень хотелось 9ку поставить, но минусы этой игры все таки очень бесили    … Expand

The gameplay is way better than in the first opus and I enjoyed a lot exploring the more open areas. I loved the ost and sound design too. The story was good, even if a bit cheesy sometimes imo. Still didn't prevent me from playing it multiple times and waiting eagerly for a sequel (hello mysterious cliffhanger)… Expand

    I just create a account here to say how much i love this game, for my this is the best survival horror i had ever play since re 4 and i gonna said it, it's much better. The gameplay, the story, the feeling that u create with sebastian just wast great i'm hopping that the 3erd parth doesn't take too much time to release.

    Great open world,great enemies,great shooting,great story.İ even didnt said boss fights.Boss fights are masterpiece.And not that hard to play too.This game is masterpiece of horror games.

    Action,horror,gameplay everything is great about this game.I'm looting all places and i am playing on survival mode yet still sometimes i'm having bullet problems.Play wisely!

    Great survival horror with a fair amount of action.

    During my first hour of gameplay, I was really questioning what direction the game was going. The was a main world hub, side missions, and a lot of open space. It felt like I was playing a Far Cry game. But as the game progressed, there were more survival horror parts, and I immediately had a sigh of relief. It felt like I was playing a Far Cry game. But as the game progressed, there were more survival horror parts, and I immediately had a sigh of relief.

    There's definitely a lot more action in The Evil Within 2, compared to its predecessor...BUT all the action is mixed in very well. There were some problems with the cover and stealth system in the first game. Luckily, it's all fixed up in this game. The cover system works similar to Assassin's Creed. You can hide behind cover and sneak kill enemies. You can walk along cover, and swap cover. It works well. The enemy AI is also fixed. In the old game, the enemy would notice you despite the fact that you were crouched and behind cover. This time around, the enemies had more predictable movement, and it was easier to make stealth kills.

    Consequently, this also made the game much easier than the first. On top of that, Sebastian comes across more ammunition, has more stamina, more health packs, and is able to craft ammo and upgrade weapons virtually after every mission.

    I am impartial about the changes. Despite the game behind less focused on the scares, the action, and the pace of the game is done very well. It's scary enough to still stand strong as a survival horror game. The bosses are still awesome, and there are a variety of enemies just like the first game. Though I do miss the amount of hallucinations and unexpected trip out scenes that Sebastian has.

    The story in The Evil Within 2 is really, really good. The way it unravels is great. The cutscenes and dialogues that tell the story is fantastic. There are some emotional moments, which touch on family ties, which were done very well. I just wish they talked about some characters from the previous game. I though Joseph Oda had survived, and what every happened to Leslie Whithers?    … Expand

    This Series deserves a third title. The Evil Within 2 learns from its mistakes from the first title and delivers a scary masterpiece with versatile game play mechanics.
    Improvements can be made most of all in the area of dialogue and voice acting, but for its genre the Evil Within 2 delivers in all areas on a very high level.

    Phenomenal game, one of the best horror games I have played, even one of the best games in general I have played. Such a huge improvement over the first game. They fixed a lot of quality of life issues the first game had. The pc version actually ran well as opposed to the first. The graphics and ambience were awesome. Very creepy and well done horror elements.

    The only con for me is the controls felt slightly clunky and could have been more polished, free aiming is a nightmare and I had to really mostly on auto aim, The aim sensitivity did not feel good even when you tried to fine tune it. Other then that this is a must for fans of the genre. Honestly skip the first game, this one is far superior and will catch you up on the story.    … Expand

    Worse than first game in every way imaginable. Anyone who says that this one is better than first, must hate horror games or simply doesn't understand what horror game is supposed to be. This second part is not scary at all, enemies are very generic and bosses aren't even comparable to masterful creativity of the first game.     1) Graphics: the game looks dated sometimes, even on Ultra settings. You can't control texture quality on the graphics settings - unacceptable by 2017 standards for PC games. This is a big downer for me. 2) You cannot skip all the dialog and cut-scenes, which becomes an annoying    Ok, the game is fun to play, but I can't give it a better score because of a few important shortcomings:

    3) Bugs and crashes. Not a lot, but annoying nevertheless. The final scene ("Game Clear") gets stuck, and took me a while to realize that I just had to press a bunch of random keys for the game to resume and enable the New Game+ feature. Btw, that's what worked for me, other ppl reported other ways to unstuck the "Game Clear" screen.
    4) The dialog is repetitive at times. I've lost count of how many times the main character says "what the hell" when he sees something odd.
    5) You cannot raise the difficulty on New Game+, which to me defeats the purpose of a second play through. I like to play Casual first, then raise the difficulty on subsequent play throughs. For whatever reason, the developer thought that it was a good idea to only allow to decrease the difficulty on New Game+. So, let's say you complete the game on Survival, then start New Game+: you can only lower it to Casual? You bring all your weapons and upgrades to New Game+ - so, if anything, I want to raise the difficulty, not lower it. It makes no sense to me.    … Expand

    Very nice improvement over the first one. Although the first one was not THAT bad, it didn't even hold my attention enough to finish it. I think I got to chapter 14. However, the mechanics were much improved in this game and although the story was slightly more interesting, I still found it a bit half-baked. How did Stefano and Theodore get in the STEM? What was so special about Lily thatVery nice improvement over the first one. Although the first one was not THAT bad, it didn't even hold my attention enough to finish it. I think I got to chapter 14. However, the mechanics were much improved in this game and although the story was slightly more interesting, I still found it a bit half-baked. How did Stefano and Theodore get in the STEM? What was so special about Lily that they decided to make her the core? A bunch of plot questions unanswered but the game was still fun and I am glad that the ending didn't have that tired cliche cliffhanger.     One thing i really like about this game though is the references to the original game which felt really connected and really made the game feel like the game was a close sequel to The evil within 1 with a different story. References such as Safe Head, Laura, Sadist, Flash backs, talks about the previous events, Beacon hospital references and so on, also the return of Tatianna which in this game is properly done, in this game the nurse has a proper character and interacts with Sebastian a lot more, we get to learn so much more about her and why she is what she is.

    Gameplay:

    I found this game way too easy, i completed my first play through on Nightmare and it felt nothing like the originals difficulty, it was even easier than survival on the original in my opinion, and the reason for the has to be the overpowered skills such as a stealth perk which completely breaks the game and removes basically all need to use any other weapons towards 75% of the enemies. apart from it being too easy i found it really enjoyable especially the open world sections with all the side quests and loot gathering.

    Cons:
    I have a couple minor cons about this game.

    one of the main being the terrible mini bosses in my opinion, none of the mini bosses were able to match the mini bosses from the original such as safe head and Laura. actually the enemies all together felt like a step back from the original, the game was lacking in enemy variety.

    the progression. Another con i have for this game is the progression. the reason this is a flaw is because i found that the progression in this game was far too fast and easy, within the first 2 hours i was able to get my character set to finish the whole game with ease. i was able to make it to the final boss with 600+ gun powder, 70+ Herds, Full ammo including bolt in all weapons and pouches, i didn't even have to craft a single syringe in my Nightmare play through, and crafted minimal ammo which i only did craft towards the end because i felt like i was saving so much resources for no reason.

    And my final con is how fast the game skipped chapters, some chapters literally took 15 mins to pass.    … Expand

The scenario has been the target of the developers this time giving raise to a much more heady depiction of Sebastian Castellanos.     One of the best game i have played in a whole year. The atmosphere is really good, the survival elements where very carefully designed. The story is one of the better parts of this game, a miningfull story, well developed with good characters good script changes, it keeps you all the way to the end on the edge to know what happen next.     I'm ended this game now. The wonderful game. If it weren't for the last level (Purgatory - Chapter 16) with its perfect environment and soundtrack, the game would have to end as in the first part - abruptly. Here everything is logically summed up to the end, almost everything is explained concerning the plot and characters. Yes, the horror component is less than in the first part, but theI'm ended this game now. The wonderful game. Also the open-world environment reminded me of Silent Hill 2, and the last boss is reminded me of Evelina from RE7.
    It took me 19 hours to get almost everything: I collected everything except keys and docks (there are 1-2 left). I'm died about 3-4 times per game, where 3 times of them were on the penultimate boss.
    The stealth is mediocre, but it helps to make the game easier. Each weapon is felt in a special way: the shots are not similar to each other, the recoil is different from the kind of gun, the knife and axe are your best friends.    … Expand

    Apesar de seus fatos negativos, The Evil Within 2 chega para mostrar porque veio. Sua experiência apesar de tudo é incrível e desafiadora, e em certos momentos você pode deixar de lado alguns pontos incompletos da história para simplesmente se divertir (ou entrar em pânico simplesmente). Apesar de tudo, é sim um jogo importante para sua prateleira.

    I don't remember any aspect of the game to be exaggerated in any way. It has a good polished feel. The directing was noticeably well done, some of the transitions were REALLY fascinating.     I am a self confessed huge fan of the original Evil Within, for me that game stands alone amongst survival horror games of this generation, but it did cause me to get quite excited by the prospect of the sequel.

    Would this new game match up to it's superb precursor?? In short, no. But that's perhaps more my personal preference then any downfall of the title itself.     One of the things i liked most about the original were the wonderful environments that you were shepherded through in a very linear track, like a horror maze at an amusement park, the sequel still has these segments and they really shine proving to be the sequel at its best, but when it isn't following this strict path you're left in a small scale open world, which doesn't really feel very tight or especially interesting, with all most MMO like levels of disengagement in the game world, mobs wandering around aimlessly on set path ways, it kinda feels like this game was heading for a scripted experience like it's forebear and then someone in a boardroom said, it's got to have open world, open world is the future, and we ended up with what feels like shoehorned sections of openworld gameplay interspersed with the quality linear experience.

    When this game sticks to it's roots it's superb but the occasional open world distraction leaves it in the wake of it's superior forebear.

    Still excellent but not quite to the standards exhibited from it's seminal original.    … Expand

You can disable all elements of the hud individually to make it more atmospheric but the game just fails to be scary as it fails being a good action game or a good stealth game, it tries to be all of those but does neither well enough.
    The hub sized map at first    A mixed bag of other iconic games from the genre, a big slice of Resident Evil 4, a splash of Silent Hill, and even F.E.A.R. You can disable all elements of the hud individually to make it more atmospheric but the game just fails to be scary as it fails being a good action game or a good stealth game, it tries to be all of those but does neither well enough.
    The hub sized map at first makes you feel compelled to explore every corner, every enterable building has something going on, this is the strongest point of the game but then you are introduced to the awful map transitions through a computer, and the game becomes more linear and weaker.
    Your empty guns will suddenly have ammo on cinematic fights, boss fights have ammo respawns, so much for the game trying hard to make itself less fun by not giving you ammo and forcing you to use the weak stealth, where you can just toy with enemies that get stuck easily, this just felt like a way they figure out to make the game last longer.    … Expand

Сюжет дырявый до нельзя, диалоги местами убогие, поведение персонажа местами идиотское, происходящее на экране частенько высосано из пальца.     A decent sequel. Not as scary as the first one. Nightmare difficulty felt pretty good. Also there are no memorable villains like the Box Head guy from Evil Within 1.

    the story is a bit weaker then the first game, cus the art guy was not really related to the story, gameplay is less clunky then the last game, but it's just way less intense and scary sadly, even though ending felt rushed, it's a really good ending story

    Fans of Silent Hill and Resident Evil should definitely try The Evil Within 2. Even with all its annoying flaws, the sequel is better than the original game. Slowly but surely, Tango Gameworks is working its way towards a perfect formula for a modern horror game.

    This time devs cleaned up their act. The Evil Within 2 fights with immortals in a richer, better-designed and well-crafted action. It is not just a thoughtless brutality, as it may seem. Good ideas are rewarded by a pleasantly long game time.
