This is apparent from the almost identical design and active turn based fighting system and lack of dialogue. Unfortunately, it is not as polished or diverse as the LoG games. The monsters are dull and don't pose much motion or threat for that matter. The puzzles are simple, the environments are monotonous and bland making it difficult to know where you were or where to go. The inventory design is clunky and lacks quick functionality making it more time consuming. There's not a lot of variety in the arsenal either. It's the basics: swords, axes, shields, etc. and there are only 3 wands (spells) for the mage. Daggers can't be thrown and there is only one type of arrow for both the short and long bow. Attributes and leveling are straight forward. All of this combined with NO instruction manual make it a frustrating adventure with little to no resolve at the end. Given that this game was made primarily by one person is quite the feat but if it had more work put into and made itself different and better from all the previous dungeon crawlers then maybe, just maybe, it could be some really cool and fun. I know this game was made by one person. The story is made with dialog text. This is your typical story, nothing bad about it but generic. II know this game was made by one person. The story is made with dialog text. This is your typical story, nothing bad about it but generic. I found combat too hard and you can win those combat by spamming a certain number of keys. Frustrating to get killed by the first enemies and not getting any feels for the combat. Very little is explained. And the interface is too basic. Not very good to manage items, not good for combats or crafting. I give a 50% for the effort. I think a base is there but that's just it. Full Review »
