The Crimson Maid

The Crimson Maid is a first person exploration and visual novel. Developed by GrimTalin and Darkania Works and published by Wales Interactive, The Crimson Maid blends romance, mystery and light puzzle solving. Players play as Marius, a priest in training who is summoned home due to his father's declining health. Marius meets the family's newly hired maid, Irina, and can't help but feel enthralled by her beauty and flustered by her persistent teasing. The story unfolds as a mysterious death occurs, a budding romance blooms, and a plot against the family is discovered. With puzzles and other gameplay serving as pauses, The Crimson Maid is narrative heavy. Many things I enjoy about the game had a "but" attached to them. Overall, one that I can recommend for those who like visual novels!
