For the age of the game, the graphics are very nice and colorful. The voice acting was surprisingly good for the age and genre of game. The only point that seemed to lose me was when the Cluefinders were falling down a slide and had an unconvincing yell as they were falling. I probably would have yelled louder.
I made it mostly through the game and unfortunately the game started to crash to desktop at the final level. Unfortunately I was unable to see how the climax of the plot was resolved. I was only able to solve the math problems in practice mode. I am grateful that I was at least able to solve all of the challenges the game had to offer. I would have really enjoyed to see the ending.
The ending challenges seemed to be artificially difficult. As a grown adult I struggled with the last challenges. I had to repeatedly retrieve snagnets. For those who don't know what snagnets are, they are snake things that for some reason are needed to move word domino things around. I do not understand why it was needed, but I became very skilled at farming snagnets.
Overall I would recommend that you purchase this game and play it if it is on sale. The challenges this game presents makes it a joy to play, and I would imagine that there is decent replay value. I would give this game a ten, but the crashes rob me of the closure and diminish the experience.
