    Graphics are phenomenal. The idea behind the game is wonderful. And the optimization is very good. This is an original game and I suggest you to play it. Thanks to the developer, we don't see anything original these days.

    Despite some imperfections, The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales is sensational, carried by its incredible script. The development team delivered an excellent narrative, full of charisma and subversions of famous works. Even with boring gameplay, the experience is a must for fans of a good story.

    Let's get to the bad part of the game first, the controls are awful. the click point feature of the main story makes sens to the game but the sensitivity of the controls is bad.

    - 5 - 6 hour long.

    -game about puzzles, choices and story, only bad u stuck on terrains and pacing.
    -good music, graphic, most creative story and ending.
    -hope someday make it on tv series.

    This was a surprise. I was intrigued by the title and played it Game Pass.
    It's been obviously made with a tiny budget and this can become evident in certain points, but the story and locations are especially intriguing and I couldn't wait to see what the next book would be about.

    I would've loved if the game went a little bit deeper in how this world is structured, you are thrown in with little to no exposition and gradually learn more stuff about the MC and the world he lives in, but there's much more to see and learn and I would love the devs to maybe make a new game set in the same world.    … Expand

    I was truly captivated by the story of this game; it is both engaging and enjoyable. However, it is important to note that there were some bugs, a lack of polish, and other issues present. Despite these drawbacks, I highly recommend this game to fans of the genre.

    A nice concept but not fully realized. The puzzles are quite easy, I only got stuck twice and had to resort to a YouTube walkthrough but other than that I beat the game in under four hours. There is also a simplified turn based combat system which is laughably easy, stun, stun, drain, drain, repeat.

    The choices lose a bit of their variety as the story goes on and the combat can be a tad simplistic, but The Bookwalker is a beautiful exercise in exploring the humanity of fiction and why we, the audience, should feel for the characters on the page.

    The Bookwalker isn’t about inventing new wheels but combining familiar concepts in intriguing ways, ably marrying point-and-click adventuring and turn-based combat to provide a dark world to explore, filled with surprises that are ultimately more intriguing than its grand finale.

    Overall, Bookwalker is an engaging game that takes an interesting premise and uses it to tell a story full of mystery and creativity. I enjoyed the meta-ness of me controlling a fictional character as he wrestles with how and if to control other characters that are fictional to him. World-building, puzzle-solving, and quality visuals and writing make Bookwalker a satisfyingly complete package well worth checking out.
