    Played it for a few hours and so far I really like it. The combat is excellent and you can do a number of combo moves to keep the combat fresh. The story line is kinda of boring but the action with the combat and getting around Manhattan is really fun. Boss fights are somewhat exciting although far from breath taking. One thing that is breath taking are how wonderful the graphics are. ThePlayed it for a few hours and so far I really like it. The combat is excellent and you can do a number of combo moves to keep the combat fresh. The story line is kinda of boring but the action with the combat and getting around Manhattan is really fun. Boss fights are somewhat exciting although far from breath taking. One thing that is breath taking are how wonderful the graphics are. The open world RPG aspect adds to the variety and there is very little to complain about. The game it is most similar to is Batman Arkham City.… Expand

    This game is great: smart, fast, brilliant. Gorgeous graphics, awesome dubbing, clever dialogues. I would rate it 8 out of 10. Metacritic reviews score is unfair with it.

    how the @#$% is this like never before? all the spider-man games have **** interface with the uncontrollable camera. take a lesson from prototype. ...

    wait have i ever played a spiderman game before this one...

    I love the game so much! The Costumes, DLCs, and the New York city. The reason why I gave it a 9 because the swinging web is not attached to a building, but i still love the game. Also I love 50th Anniversary Spidey Hat. Also I wished Andrew Garfield voiced spidey, but now its my second favorite spiderman game of all time.

    Absolutely best Spider-Man game ever! Plot, gameplay, mobility, collectibles, simply everything. I played lots of hours and I had plenty of fun. Really enjoyable. I wish every superhero game was at least as good at this one. For Spidey fun it a duty to play this game. You won't regret time spend with this production.     The game is good, very similar to the batman games. I bought at steam and have to much problem to play.
    My Radeon HD 7970 cant play with a decent fps rate. I have to change a directx file every time i want to play that game, is absurd!!!!

    Фанатам паука скорее всего зайти должно, не самая хорошая или плохая игра серии.
    Графика на уровне. Геймплей неплох, затягивает потихоньку. Но все миссии очень однообразны, про боссов в обще молчу, всего три босса припомню которые отличались от остальных (но в сайдквестах тоже встречаются боссы, так что кто хочет увидеть побольше злодеев - проходить    Довольно неплохой beat ’em up.

    И моя рекомендация проходить игру на макс сложности, т.к. на сложностях ниже - игра становиться слишком простой. На прохождение со всеми допами ушло около 15 часов.
    Но на мой взгляд, из игр такого жанра и про супергероев победу одерживает почти любая часть бэтмена.    … Expand

The story that despite the fact that it is mostly predictable, it can really draw, model flying again is great for that which has been improved by more closely resembles that of comic books and movies.     Unlike movie, i like this game. It's a fun, a bit repetitive, but interesting game. Story develops slow, but not without couple of pretty good twists, gameplay mechanic is stolen from Batman games, but whatever, it's a great game mechanic and it's fun to beat baddies. Graphics and voice acting are great. Overall, this game is rather mixed bag, but i like this.     Mix of Prototype and Batman Arkham Asylum and sequels (even the storyline is somewhat stolen from them), this game is fun, full of action and good to spend some time on it. Graphics are very good (CriWare), gamplay is OK, lacks originality. Not an awesome game, but definitely a good one, something you don't expect from a movie-based game.

    Fighting the humans (either muggers or others) is immensely fun. The stealth sections are excellent, and being able to zip from cover to cover *anywhere you like* is fantastic. The boss fights are a little finicky and rely too heavily on quicktime actions, but can still be engaging. But the robots gods, the robots. They drag the game down.

    I understand that every game like this needs its "tough" mook. Arkham Asylum has its knife-wielding thugs and the stun batons, and this game has its robots. But where Batman had maybe two or three knives in a group, Spiderman has to fight entire rooms filled with robots. Story-wise, sure, it makes sense. But game-wise, it's just exhausting, and makes the game a pain.

    I can recommend the game for it's web-swinging, collectible-hunting, the challenges, and the rescue of citizens. But be warned that Spidey's wisecracks repeat a little too often, and following the storyline may be an exercise in frustration.    … Expand

    This game isn't that good like some people say. This game isn't amazing. It's repetitive. Web-slinging isn't that good, it has glitches and it's story isn't that good. Combat is decent, it's not bad, but something more variations like Shattered Dimensions would make it awesome. Story isn't long and not good and after first    Amazing Spider-Man is back!     Story isn't long and not good and after first playthrough, I didn't wanna do a second. It's just boring. There are max 3 different side-mission variations. Escort prisoners, who looks the same, help people from thugs, who look the same. Black Cat side-mission was good though. Camera has issues and web-slinging gets repetitive also. And web-rush makes it too easy. Since you can use that, there's no meaning using web-sling. You can collect 700 comics, but in the console version, you don't get anything else, except a trophy. In PC, you will get 2012 Kaine's (Spider-Man's clone) Scarlet Spider suit.

    Luckily, there are costumes and in the PC version you can mod them to awesome, but since it's only in PC, it doesn't make the score better. And costumes aren't that good, without modding. Raimi's black suit for example.

    You can buy it if, you're Spidey fan (like me), but don't expect anything good.    … Expand

    It took me a while to get into this Spider-Man game… At first the controls felt absolutely awful, really just un-smooth and clunky; however after a while you do start to get better hang at controlling Spider-Man and things do get a little easier… However, don’t get me wrong crawling on ceilings and walls is still a complete disorientating disaster! As for the main campaign, I felt it wasIt took me a while to get into this Spider-Man game… At first the controls felt absolutely awful, really just un-smooth and clunky; however after a while you do start to get better hang at controlling Spider-Man and things do get a little easier… However, don’t get me wrong crawling on ceilings and walls is still a complete disorientating disaster! As for the main campaign, I felt it was rather short and surprisingly easy to get through! The side-missions although fairly fun at first, the lack of variety does get slightly tiring! However, all that being said I have managed to play this game through, I enjoyed it and I do occasionally go back to pick up some collectables and such… I think if you can get into the game and get to grips with the controls this can be a quite enjoyable experience!… Expand

    I absolutely love the game.
    The only thing i did not like is the annoying hero-menace system,but it keeps me in action all the time.
    Too bad Activision did not support the game with more content such as even more suits and activities.
    My favorite Spider-Man game.

    buen videojuego, lo mejor es pasear por la ciudad.
    No tiene muchos combos en las peleas, pero con "B" te salen animaciones muy variadas con los enemigos noqueados.
    Lo malo son las misiones secundarias, como llevar civiles al hospital que son demasiadas y repetitivas para terminar el juego al 100%. Igual juego recomendado

    Хорошая игра про человека паука. Здесь интересный геймлэй. Хорошая графика. Интересный сюжет. Интересные диалоги. Сложные, крутые боссы. Хорошая оптимизация.
    Что самое лучшее в этой игре, так это летать на паутине.

    Amazing game to The Amazing Spider-Man. Ok maybe not nice this year but back then it really made you feel like Spider-Man. In fact, it has a classic ps3 game mechanics and its story is not very effective. But swinging between buildings is always fun.

Очень скучный сюжет, скучные побочные квесты, город чувствуется пустым макетом, простому игроку не знакомому с комиксами, будет трудно запомнить персонажей, их как будто и нет, потому что они не прописаны, просто балванчики. Плохая музыка, ужасный шрифт, всего пара анимаций движений полета. Игра 2012 года! Гвен вообще не соответствует своей версии фильма, а Питер лицо даже не показывал, зато целоваться через маску д и с кривущей анимацией, это видимо будет круто. Из хорошего стоит отметить, концепт - артами, какими то набросками, квестом с игуаной, и то, что игра знакомит и дает возможность почитать комиксы!… Expand

    I really like this game, it reminds a lot of the PS4 spider but this one has weird gameplay and the camera is horrible so I give it 7.

    Если серьёзно задуматься и вспомнить то как младшему ребенку в семье, The Amazing Spider-Man приходится донашивать вещи за старшими, правда, конкретно в этом случае одежду брали без разрешения. Начало игры один в один повторяет завязку Deus Ex: Human Revolution — лаборатория, повсюду плохие парни, блондинка в беде, герой пытается ее спасти —дежавю прямо глаза режет. Когда дело доходит до рукоприкладства, в голове тут же возникают ассоциации с последними играми про героическую сторону Брюса Уэйна от Rocksteady. Такая механика боя Паркеру с его паучьим чутьем подходит даже больше, чем Бэтмену, но от ответственности это в любом случае никого не освобождает. Но всё же, не всё в порядке у Amazing Spider-Man и со злодеями. Раньше их старались делать харизматичными и ни на кого не похожими, а здесь это тупые животные и насекомые, лишенные всякой фантазии. Главная причина таких изменений — родство с одноименным фильмом, который, пойдя на поводу у тенденций, шагнул в сторону реализма, мрачности и прочих веяний нолановского «Темного рыцаря». Нынче стало очень модно коверкать изначальные комиксовые образы персонажей в угоду реализму, и если «Темному рыцарю» это, в принципе, к лицу, то вот «Человеку-Пауку», который всегда был зрелищным, чуть безумным и наивным, — напротив. Лучшее в The Amazing Spider-Man — это по большей части вещи необязательные: город с чудными второстепенными заданиями, вроде погонь и предотвращения ограблений, — заметит их, с головой уйдя в сюжет, далеко не каждый. История быстро теряет краски, а ближе к концу появляется ощущение, что доделывали игру верные китайские аутсорсеры: уж слишком штампованными, неприятными и неаккуратными выглядят последние несколько часов геймплея. Да, Activision заставляет бедную Beenox выпускать по игре в год (в 2010 году вышел Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, ровно через год Spider-Man: Edge of Time, а еще девять месяцев спустя родился The Amazing Spider-Man), не давая толком их вылизать, но с этим ничего не поделаешь — остается лишь плакать по ночам в подушку, в надежде, что в следующий раз у студии хватит времени на всё.    … Expand

    The game is good, very similar to the batman games. However, it looked too much like a batman arkham city with spiderman skin and worse, being too easy and very repetitive

    When we think about The Amazing series, the first game was the most successful one for me. I remember having a lot of fun playing it, it's a good game and still playable.

    Let's face it, it makes sense to talk about the aftermath of the movie. The only reason this game is bad is because of bad mechanics. bad story. bad combat. not the variety of enemies. amazing villains you are fighting robots i can't tell if i hit or not. I won't even tell you how bad the rocking is

    Great surprise that is does not have that much in common with the recent movie (fortunately). Maybe for this is the reason the game is played so well. [Sept 2012]
