    Once the nostalgia wears off, you’re left with a mediocre game show game that can hardly compete with the likes of Sierra On-Line’s successful "You Don’t Know Jack" franchise.

    If you're a nostalgia buff looking for a good party game, The $100,000 Pyramid isn't a bad choice, especially considering the 20-buck price. But be warned: it's not a particularly engrossing one-player game.

    If you don't plan on having (four) contestants at a time, you'd be well advised to steer clear of Pyramid and pick up the latest copy of "You Don't Know Jack" instead.
