    This game is a work in progress, they released it in EA (early Access) program which means its on early state and theres low content atm.
    For your understanding, the game is at 0.5.4 version as im writing this. Theres TONS of features being worked on.
    This game is promissing.

    So much better than pokemon. I was not expecting this game to be this good. Hours of enjoyment alone or with friends. Adorable temtem and strong looking ones too. 10/10!!!

    I really like how this was made.

    It has a lot of potential.

    This game is exactly what I've been expecting out of Pokemon for the last 10+ years and they have not been able to deliver. Thank you devs for making something that actual has some semblance of challenge and isn't brain dead. I'm having a really great time.

    Also this game is being attacked by blind Pokemon fans. Pretty disgusting guys.

    Ironic Pokemon fans get upset over other monster collectors existing or "ripping them off" when Pokemon itself has always been a weak ripoff of Dragon Quest which did monster collecting and monsters in capsules years before Pokemon but Japan whom loved Dragon Quest before Pokemon certainly never seemingly threw a hissy    I'm just here to balance out the nonsense of the negative reviews.

    The game is a perfect demostration of what fans want in their favourite game, is what we have been asking for pokemon since almost 10 years, and is now a better option than the actual pokemon games for less than half the price

    People upset with the launch having server issues are sad. game is in early access and delivers on all of the expectations they've advertised on. The rest of the issues have plenty of time to be improved on and developer feedback has been on point and immediate with issues presented.     Absolutley lovely graphix, great diversity in different species. A good evolution fram what pokemon used to be. It's not even finished and already delivers more polished gameplay then pokemon sword and shield.

    A very good game which has a very good follow-up of its developers both on Twitter and on Discord. They listen to the community.

    There are people putting 0/10 in this game just because it is a copy of Pokémon, it's a review that do not explain if the game is bad, something that is not. It is true that the servers initially stopped like all the games that come out, obviously.     Absolutely a blast so far! First day launch had it's lag and some hiccups, but the developers pushed and patched that up later that night!
    For a game still in this Alpha stage, I am really excited to see what comes next! Customization, double battles, online co-op with a friend, it's all I could have asked for from Pokemon but never got it.

The gameplay is fun, the fights actually need stratgedy, graphics are really pretty, the world and story is big and immersive, the character customization is cute, the price is quite low considering what you need to pay for pokémon and there are very few bugs for still being early access. Unfortunately that excitement quickly became buyers remorse as I grew incredibly bored of the game by the third gym. The game held my hand too much and let me over level and basically sweep every opponent for 10 hours using just two pokemon. It was a snoozefest where it felt like the only real enjoyment I was going to get out of Pokemon was the endgame pokedex completion and perfect IV chasing.

    Enter TemTem. From the very start the game hits hard and doesn't hold back. It's challenging in all the right ways. It immediately introduces you to tactical gameplay and content that you'd only find at endgame pokemon games.

    The battle system is far superior. The2v2 format is wonderful, and the no RNG crit/dodge/feint/flinch philosophy is incredibly refreshing. It feels like a skill based tactical turn based strategy game which seems impossible to pull off, but Crema has done it.

    Things that seemed incredibly intimidating in the pokemon games like breeding or IV chasing are actually intuitive parts of the game that are introduced organically as you progress. Each zone is elegant and charming, and the world feels much larger than it actually is, which is a good thing. The storyline is also quite enjoyable and easy to feel invested in unlike Sword. TemTem is hands down better than Sword and Shield in every single way, and it's only early access. There are still dozens of WIP areas and zones yet to be revealed and new TemTem being released weekly until the game fully launches. It is well worth the $30.    … Expand

    A worthy opponent for the popular Pokemon franchise. Don't be deceived by it's cute graphics. It's rather challenging, but also not super difficult. It does a lot of things as well or better than Pokemon and is definitely worth trying out if you like the genre.

    Early Access game, so ratings may be changed. It has server issues at this time, but the development team is working hard on consistently updating and monitoring it's progress. All mmos have issues like this at launch. Once you get into the game though, it's an extremely refreshing take on the collection genre. A battle system different enough to stand out from Pokemon. Using stamina instead of PP, and a priority system with more depth. Rng in battle has been removed so you can fight with more tactics.     Everything you wished pokemon was. Graphics are great, the combat is amazing and quite balanced for an early access, mons look great, and most importantly, the game is HARD, dont get me wrong its not dark souls but i got my ass kicked quite a few times cause i wasn't thinking or grinding hard enough, great game overall .

    Breeding has been significantly improved as compared to pokemon with it both being far more logical and intuitive, while also decreasing it's importance.

    Further the game is also significantly harder than pokemon, in a good way, this game actually presents a challenge and requires some thought, a welcomed departure from the norms of this genre. The game also features a more mature story than some might expect.

    The game world is vibrant and highly varied featuring hugely different fantastical floating islands.

    Generally speaking if you've played pokemon think of every mechanical issue and clunky feature those games have and Temtem has solved them, all the while also turning the game into a much more skill based experience.

    Simply put if you enjoy pokemon I cannot recommend this game enough, after playing it for dozens of hours I can safely say every pokemon game feels lacking by comparison (all the way from red and blue to sword and shield). I've even gone back to old pokemon games, namely crystal and pearl, to see if it was only newer pokemon games that felt lacking, but no those older pokemon games also failed to even match Temtem.

    If you're not a fan of pokemon I'd say give Temtem a look if you enjoy tactical or turn based games it's a stunning example of the monster collection genre and may just make you fall in love with the concept.    … Expand

    Good for an MMO like Pokemon game. Has issues cause early access. But definitely has Lots of potential. Devs give constant updates too.
    I'm also a huge Pokemon fan. Don't listen to the toxic Pokemon fans that are rating 0s.

    The game is awesome . Most people forget its early access. The game is much better version of the recent Pokémon games. The only people hating are die hard Pokémon fans who don't know any better.

    Pokémon had every chance to make a game that looks and feels like this. The game has beautiful graphics and plays very smoothly. Besides a slightly annoying launch with packed serves and bugs which the Devs are currently hard at work mitigating.

    Overall, It improves a lot from the source material (pokemon) and adds a lot of uniqueness to Its gameplay. Considering the game It's only on early access, It has a lot of potential to keep improving and perhaps even surpass Pokemon in the final product, though only time will tell

    Temtem is a fantastic game when you look at its story and gameplay mechanics alone. However, when you see the variety of activities it has to offer and the way its economy is structured, it will make you second-guess your stay after the main story campaign is done and over with.
